Nice audio and visuals! On Windows 8.1, the text didn't appear, so I didn't know there was a timer until I saw the screenshot. I think it would be more challenging if the aliens attacked the ship too! Great game overall :)
Yes, it seems like there's a bug with the fonts on some machines, I'm trying to figure out why :S

I had the invisible font issue with a windows 7 PC and a Radeon 4850 graphics card.
Cool game! I played a while game without realizing I had to pick guys up because of the invisible directions, and then it took me a little more to realize I could carry three at once! But I did some serious ferry work after that.
Nice feel, and the sound effects are a good touch.

Got the font-bug on windows 8.1 and an ATI Radeon 7750
Nice background scene
May be the range of bullets could be higher ?
Also, didn't have fonts (windows7, amd radeon hd 5700)
Thanks every one for your feedback, it seems liks the font issue is affecting the ATI graphic cards. I'll make sure to fix that for the next LD !
@ponk: the idea with the short range was to make sure that you had to move around. but maybe too short ...

Nice game and concept, but the turning of the ship felt too slow and the ship could be a bit faster in general, imo.
Had much fun anyway :D
Hey, overall this was a pretty alright game!
the music was super catchy and I instantly loved it.
concept is pretty fun and I feel like it can go further.
Possibly some varied enemies or powerups for the player; Speed Dash, gun upgrade, etc.
Two things I did notice ( call it a nitpick but I thought Id add it anyway ) when the game restarts, the music doesnt stop playing but another is played over. and I personally think that the player should move a little slower with more humans on board.
I feel like this could be a really cool bullet-hell esq game, sweet!
