I really like the graphics of the game, nice job!
Had good fun playing this, but the box-pushing physics are very wonky. :)
Excellent use of the theme and a really nice concept!
I would love to have this as a mobile game :)
Holy shit I love the style of this thing! :D
Absolutely gorgeous!
Just some things I would change (personal preference):
Make the movements in the minigame "blocky" so they corespond to the pixely graphics, and give the minigame a pixely font.
Also I don't know if it is intentional, but I found some enemies were impossible to shoot, because they lingered at the lower edge of the screen. Further than the snowman could move down.
One of the best entries I have played so far! :)
Though the basics are similar to our entry, the mechanics differ quite a bit in the end.
I really do like your characters better :D
I like that kind of "Papers Please" approach of your game. :)
I really like these click-drag-plan kind of games. Not much to say about it except: well done!
It just could use at least some placeholder sounds.
I also fixed the issue you had with my jam entry "Banana TV". You can try it again if you don't mind :)

Great graphics, but seriously... the sound is a bit annoying.
Awesome! Just that. Gimme more :D
I really enjoyed this one :)
Really great concept! I hope that this evolves into a full game some day :D
I love the art style and the concept! Put it on the Google PlayStore please :D
Really good graphics and very nice music! :)
@SirRicecake: I'm sorry for that! Did it spit out any additional information?
@StMatn: thanks for the picture! I believe that is a problem that depends on your graphics card. Some cards do not support textures that have either width or height not being a power of 2.
I'l look into fixing this.
@StMatn: The issue should be fixed now. You could try again :)
Just beautiful, a very nice Idea! :D
You need to give permission to everyone that has the link to the file, otherwise we can't play it
One extra star because I currently lead the leaderboard :D
Nice game and concept, but the turning of the ship felt too slow and the ship could be a bit faster in general, imo.
Had much fun anyway :D
The music is really nice, but the controlls are kind of weird. They would feel better if WASD would move the player over the field without relation to the direction he is facing.
Hehe, that was fun :D
Holy shit this is addictive! The controls feel just right, and the music is perfect for this game.
Would you mind sharing the source for this gem?
Also, could you try working around Avira Antivirus recognising your game as a TR/Dropper.Gen virus?
I just ignored AV for the sake of LD, but this might keep many many people from trying and rating this masterpiece.
I like this game and it's dodge mechanics! Had much fun aiming for the highscore, but did not manage to get farther than 66 blocks ^^
I would recommend that you make the movements smoother, as they are very "jumpy" atm. And in addition to that, I think the game would play even nicer if the "movement speed" stayed the same throughout and did not increase with the running speed.
Very smooth gameplay! This game was extreme fun, definitely one of my favourites. :)
I realy like the idea, but I found it really hard to design a good turret program without any chance to try it out first, or at least restarting the current level without loosing my program.
Okay, since most people can't run your game:
I packed a Win32 executable and a .love file from your sources. (You can link to those files for your entry directly, or store them in your own Google Drive if you want)
The windows version and .love file are available here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B49K7HGuVWH7NWtKQTNCTTVOUE0&usp=sharing
PS: I also compressed your soundfiles to OGGs, so I did not need hours to upload the files ;)
I really like the concept, the player can only see the top left level variant, so it's hard to tell why the stickman just pops out of existence if you don't know that there are 4 versions of the level at once. I just saw it because I took a look at your source code.
Never the less, I like the idea, and you should keep working on this. :)
Marvelous. I löve it :D
208878 Level 9
Pretty nice game! But now I dont want to run through all the levels again ^^
Great game!
Another good example of what people can do with the LÖVE engine. :)
A score multiplier for multiple consecutive kills would be really nice.
And I have to take a look on how you did the dynamic lighting. Looks nice!
well polished, top game. I can't really say much about it. I love it. Really good take on the theme.
Man this game is hard... But since it is intended that way, I count this as a plus.
Good job! :)
Brilliant concept!
Shut up and take my stars!
Look Simba, five stars everywhere
Very solid game, imo! A decent difficulty and much fun to play. The only thing I would change is that there is no "safe zone" at the start of the second level.
Note: Thanks for the info on our game! I completely disabled FSAA for the Windows version now, so it should run now. If you don't mind, please give it another try: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-31/?action=preview&uid=28802
If it still does not work, could you leave me a link to a screenshot of the error in my comments? Thanks in advance! :)
Hi! Would you mind trying Banana TV again? I removed the use of Canvases (which are mentioned in the error you got) and hope that it should work for you now:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-31/?action=preview&uid=28802
Very well done game!
Great puzzle game! Would have been nice to see smooth movements when changing gravity or removing blocks.
I like the mechanic and the nice art style :)
This is easily one of my favourites! :)
I love the concept and will definitely keep playing this for a while. Might even try to contribute on GitHub. ^^
Just one drawback: It's pretty steep learning curve if you dont know what to do at the beginning, imo.
Very nice concept! :)
Damn this is hard to play, but a nice new touch on the classic concept!
Really cool concept, I really enjoyed playing your game! :)
Cool concept and graphics!
I got the same error. Leave me a comment on my entry if you uploaded a fix. I'll try again then.
I get an error message, saying that "OpenColorIO.dll" is missing. I take a look at google.
ignore the last comment. wanted to write that in another tab :D
Just... perfect in everything it tries to do, imo!
Seriously. The level design is nuts! LOVE IT!
The art style! You are a genius. 5 Stars everywhere. Shut up and take my money!
The music is soooo strange, but very fitting! :)
The best use of the theme I have seen so far!
Well done! Classic genre, fresh interpretation. I love it! :)
a masterpiece!
Great idea and graphics!
I hate horror games. They are scary. And you did a really good job at reminding me why I usually avoid them. Well done! :)
So the graphics are really nice, but it's waaay to laggy. I feel that the controlls are completely responsive, but thats just too much forced screen update lag.
Besides from that a great game and very nice interpretation of the theme!
My favourite entry so far! Wonderful! Oh how I love the music! I don't know what to do, except ending each sentence with an exclamation mark!
The music was the best I heard in this LD so far! :)
Gorgeous!
Now that took a colorful dark turn at the end :D
Great game, great audio!
Very very entertaining to play. For me the difficulty was just right.
@nintendoeats: yeah, I used that for debugging purposes and forgot to remove it before submitting. ^^
Very cool game! Sad that I can't rate though...
For everyone interested: Hold down Space to "draw" with the blob
What a brilliant piece! 10/10 would play again. Most of the levels I was just butt-clenching like "Please don't move now ... OH YOU FUCKER!" :D
Excellent work!
Very nice game! The controls took a bit to getting used to, but I realy liked the concept. I'm sad that there wasn't enough time for more levels. ^^
Very cool game and concept. An AI opponent would be nice. :)
Very good work! Too hard for me to even beat the first level after the tutorial, but a lot of fun to try nontheless :D
Was surprisingly fun to play! I did not expect that from the main screenshot. Good work! :)
Am I doing something wrong? I connected two towns, and clicked on the "Hire Traders" Button and hired a trader. But I don't get any money and I don't know where the trader is. How exactly do I start in this game?
For a first game, this is pretty well done! I had a lot of fun with it :D
Imo the difficulty could increase a bit faster, but maybe that's just a personal preference.
Good job!
I realy loved the puzzles and gameplay! Top work :)
This is absolutely brilliant! I love it :D
I realy hope that you will create more levels :)
Hilarious :D
Best Music of all the games I've played so far :D
That would be soo much fun with a bunch of friends. You should try to expand on that game :)
Very challenging and really good take on the theme! I'm enjoying it.
First of all congrats on your first game from me as well! This is game seems to be aimed at people a lot more skilled than I am. Wasn't able to beat a single level ^^ Mechanics are fine, just that the difference in weight could be a bit larger, and the basic jump could be a bit higher for my personal taste (and lack of skill). I'm a bit sad that picking the gatling gun is too greedy to complete any of the levels. :D One thing that threw me off for quite a while is the sliding mechanic in Level 2. I was expecting to always slide a bit, but when landing a jump without holding a movement key, the character stops immediately. Since I expected to continue sliding, I always pressed the opposite direction of the jump to slow down the slide after landing. But since the character did not slide by itself after the landing, I immediately walked off the platform that I just jumped on.
Soldier on! Also make sure to keep an eye on the Mini-LDs between the main events, they have pretty interesting themes and approaches sometimes as well!
