Well, good memory-trainer. Nice concept

overmolo 2016-04-19 11:51

It's fantastic! What a great idea and a challenging game!

My memory is so bad my brain almost melted. But I really loved it! :)
Great sprites, really nice concept, good execution.
Well done guys !

Very nice :). I really like your menu graphics. Most unexpected concept I have seen till now.

dvdfu 2016-04-19 14:16

Controls felt very fluid, also loved the play on "shift". It got surprisingly difficult to memorize after around 3 symbols for me!

diffty 2016-04-19 14:24

Oh and yeah the audio is not this good but it really didn't bothered me.

mikaza 2016-04-19 15:05

Very pretty and nice !

crimson713 2016-04-19 15:35

What a stupid resolution!
Just kidding. :P Very nice game, simple in concept but difficulty ramps up greatly. I fell in love with the visuals, nice of you to have driver selection. I also like the fact that races show you the actual cars running with speed relevant to the gear, and so little mistakes don't lose you the game immediately like you'd expect in conventional memory games. Overall nice work, it will look great on mobile.

Nice game!

technovirusattack 2016-04-20 16:01

I like the concept, but i really love the use of the theme here.

I actually considered doing something like this but I chickened out. It works pretty well, but I could never tell WHEN to shift. The engine sound didn't seem to have anything to do with it, and there is no rev counter. By the way, pressing space automatically wins the round.

(Oh, and granny shifting jokes? You know that double-clutching is only useful on gearboxes without syncromesh right? Or maybe that wasn't supposed to be a Fast & the Furious joke)

I really, really enjoyed this game. I somehow managed to win 10 rounds.. only just lost 11. I seemed to get better over time, great game.

ziege 2016-04-20 16:08

I shift like a granny :-(

differentname 2016-04-20 16:46

Cool idea, and a pretty good play on words with the theme. I felt so comfortable on round 7, like I really mastered it, and then totally fell apart on round 8.

npexception 2016-04-20 17:41

@nintendoeats: yeah, I used that for debugging purposes and forgot to remove it before submitting. ^^

toonhawk 2016-04-20 19:12

I liked the graphics, but the game was awkward to control for me (web version) and it's basically simon says, which isn't bad but also not new.

pusty 2016-04-20 19:12

Nice concept! Very innovative lol. Also I like the grapics!

matt-beckett 2016-04-21 19:23

Really cool concept!

thecain 2016-04-21 19:45

That was really fun.
Really clever memory puzzle.

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

djfariel 2016-04-23 07:33

Clever use of theme lol

adsilcott 2016-04-25 17:52

Really nice! Good concept and use of the theme.
