U no take Loot! by Orni 2015-08-24T09:35:00
This is great!
Really like the graphics and music.
It could use a healthbar and the levels feels a bit too long though. Other than that, awesome.

This has big potential. And great art.
That's epic!.
My only complain is, that you can't control movement on WASD.
I really wanna know the rest of the story...
Thanks for the input!
Whether to use checkpoints or not was actually something I was pondering about quite a bit. And I can see I made the wrong decision. Well, mistakes are to be learned from.
The almost non visible bullets are my sloppiness. And it's even worse because I often complain about non-visible bullets in other games...
Nice idea and great art.
Balancing issues aside, I had quite a big problem positioning my monster so the objects would become interactive. Also I got the game over screen even though I'm pretty sure no one got through.
It was fun. And I actually really like the music in this one.
Oh boy that was scary.
Great art and audio. Love it.
That was interesting. Enjoyed it.
This is all kinds of awesome.
This is great. The audio is 5/5. The game should make it more clear if you hit the key correctly or not though.
Pretty neat.
The story is a bit unexpected in a game like this - really like it.
The font is a bit hard for me to read though.
Well written. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
I really like the art and sound of this one.
Beautiful.
Like the concept, but controls could be a bit more forgiving
Honestly, I have absolutely no idea what was going on.
Amazing!
Fun game.
Took me a while to realize I have to hold the key to stay shape shifted. Some (better) difficulty progression would help a lot. Other than that, it's solid base worth some further work.
I think there is a bug on level 4(?) where the transmuter sends a shape to the right instead of keeping direction making the level unbeatable.
It's fun, but the shoot sound kinda hurts me ears :-).
Good job!
The tutorial like first level is a nice touch.
The ability to change into other for while being in other form (does it make sense?) would be nice.
Linux link leads to Mac download.
Thank you for your kind words everyone ;-)
I added some help in the description to make the game a bit more understandable. (I hope that's not against the rules)
Once again, thanks everyone for playing.
The coins are there to get higher score which indeed doesn't mean anything. It was supposed to, but the deadline said: "No."
Also I wonder how clear it is that when you shift to some monster that the same kind of monster will recognize you since some people seem to be confused about it. Some kind of tutorial would probably help but again, deadline. And honestly, I didn't even think about it ;-)
Good job. Nice graphics and fun gameplay. The controls felt a little bit unresponsive though.
First some criticism:
The ball controls are a little bit too heavy and uncomfortable, but that might be just my personal preference.
On level 2 I have to take one key, open the gate, go back for second key and than back again to the second gate. Thats not exactly fun.
But it's solid base for a good game. With some more work this could be very good game.
I shift like a granny :-(
This is great.
The cutting feels so good :-)
Interesting concept, but it felt too random.
I just cut some shapes and somehow cleared the level without knowing what I'm really doing. Sometimes the game clears the level when it shouldn't, mostly when multiple balls are involved.
The visuals and sound are really good.
Quite fun. But the controls felt a bit uncomfortable and all over the keyboard.
Fun game. An ability to restart current puzzle would be nice.
Great and fun game! I really like the music and sounds. But x/z controls are a bit uncomfortable for non-QWERTY users. Sadly I couldn't get past fourth level.
My first ragequit of this LD.
It looks good, has great potential. But the controls are awkward especially those damn few (one?) steps after jump.
Great game. I really like the visual style and the gameplay is fun.
One little complain thought (and its no just your game). When i scroll to change shape I'd like to see some kind of status bar or something with available shapes so I could see which direction I should scroll for the quickest change.
Fun game. Nice visuals.
Also I think th Windows / OS/X links are switched.
+1 for boss fight
The visuals are awesome, but there's not much of a gameplay.
I like this a lot.
As others said, some (even simple) animations would make wonders.
This is fun. Especially the bossfight (didn't manage to get past second level, it is brutal).
Great game!
The tutorial seemed a bit overwhelming but the gameplay is simple enough (in a good way).
Not bad. The controls where a bit uncomfortable for me, I would prefer turning on A/D
Great graphics, awesome music, fun gameplay.
But it seriously lacks checkpoints.
Shooting with mouse click in the direction you're facing is very confusing. Either shoot to cursor position or by key.
It looks great, it sounds great, but it's extremely hard to control.
Also I somehow managed to fall through water without dying at first jump with water and crates.
Is it just me or did you forgot to pack the data folder in the zip?
It's fun, looks good, sounds good. But the difficulty curve could a bit kinder.
Pretty interesting. But the mouse controls felt a bit uncomfortable and the levels are a bit too large so they feel kinda empty at times.
Beautiful graphics.
Thank you for feedback everyone!
I edited the description to make the controls a little bit clearer.
The limited ammo thing is probably a mistake that was made and that is to be learned from. The idea was to add a bit of gameplay, but given how enemies work, it doesn't make a lot of sense. Oh well.
