Forgot to set the itch.io page as public :x
It's done now!
Great entry! It feels good to play.
I am not too sure what just happened, or how the shape shifting mechanic works, but it looks good and sounds great!
Nice entry. I liked the switching shapes mechanic. the dud on the side showing what shape you are is really good UI.
Great game. I really like the visual style and the gameplay is fun.
One little complain thought (and its no just your game). When i scroll to change shape I'd like to see some kind of status bar or something with available shapes so I could see which direction I should scroll for the quickest change.
Poison visual style, feel some Hotline Miami.
Great entry! Very satisfying shooting mechanics. I did find it a bit too easy though; I never felt like I was in any danger of losing, and only lost due to a bug: I played to 141 kills, but after the dialogue showing the new shape (the cross) I wasn't able to switch shapes or fire anymore.
If you're planning on any post-jam updates, I would definitely add some background music to heighten the mood!
Awesome game! Great mechanice and super fun. :D
Really well done. however i had to give in after unlocking the cross, for i couldn't shoot or change shape.
I couldn't beat the story, I died after unlocking the octagon thing, but the game was fun. I think it was a fun enough mechanic it could have been put to better use in levels with layout and obstacles, but in 48 it was still a solid game.
I liked the face showing you what shape you were, but I thought it was too big and covered up too much.
Love the minimalistic art style. Great fun. I would've liked some sort of background music.
Ok this game was way better than I expected, Amazing entry for the compo man, really good job
Pretty well-balanced. It constantly had the feeling of urgency and challenge, but on my second session I managed to get to 54 kills before I strayed too close to an edge and got hit. So as long as you stay focused and near the center of the screen it's probably not as difficult as it seems. Has the benefit of making a player feel skilled.
Crosshair could have used a different appearance to stand out better, but maybe hunting around for it is part of the concept.
I wonder if hitting enemies with the wrong weapon should be associated with stronger consequences than just no effect? They could get temporarily invulnerable, or maybe soak up some energy to take more hits before they die once you do find the right weapon.
I liked it though to start with I was a bit confused, I thought the big head was a boss that I was supposed to shoot until the circles turned up.
Cool game. The targeting cursor was difficult to see with the debris.
I thought the visuals were great, but at the same time, distracting. The UI in particular could use some work. I was not a fan of the fact that the character head obscured a lot during the game play. Additionally, the aiming reticle is hard to make out from the debris. I would have liked to see the order of the shapes when scrolling through them as well.
On the positive side, I did have fun. The presentation is really good. I also really liked the different weapon patterns that required me to change my strategy on the fly. Those darn circle enemies were the worst (but in a good way)!
The visual style looked pretty cool (Really liked how the colours change when you switch weapons/shapes).
This game is very tough to play with my broken scroll wheel. I hope you will add alternative keyboard buttons or something. It looks cool and plays super fun anyway!
