There's a weird glitch in this where your Big Red form doesn't *quite* shrink enough into the Blue-Balled form, so little bits of Big Red stick out and affect your ability to roll around. Switching back and forth again usually fixes it, but still, that's kinda weird.
Plus, something about the perspective makes it hard to tell where things are. Also, that little jingle that plays is too short and kind of tinny, so it gets annoying really fast. The cannon sounds in the fourth level are the same way.
Despite all that, it fits the theme and basically works as a game. Wouldn't have the phrase "worthy effort" if we didn't need to use it sometimes.
The funny thing is that I REALLY like the idea that's on display here. I think if I were going to make this into a complete game, I would make it so Big Red can move around a bit, and give both Big Red and Blue-Balled separate physical qualities (Big Red sinks, Blue-Balled floats, Big Red moves slowly on teeny little legs, Blue-Balled rolls quickly) and abilities (Big Red can basically use his body as short-range artillery by jumping up and smashing down quickly, Blue-Balled can charge up an attack-roll like Sonic). Get some levels that take advantage of all that together and you've got something that kinda makes me think of Banjo-Kazooie.
So, it wouldn't actually be a bad thing if you took this idea and put the work into it. Worth thinking about!
O got a little addicted on it! I spent some time playing it! congrats!
that's not a web link...that's a download link, for a windows version. pls relabel it for us linux bois

I wasn't able to open the second gate on the second level even though I got both keys. Otherwise, great visuals and sound!

good idea!!
Liked the Marble Madness of it but a few little touches would of made a more enjoyable experience. falling of the platform was a little to easy and the time it took to restart again was just a few seconds to long. seems like a minor quibble but that couple of seconds can really change how much fun a game can be (look at Super Meat Boys immediate restarts)

Neat idea with some interesting and clean visuals. Could have used some better depth cues though, it took several tries to hit some of the boxes.

Interesting mechanics you've got going, too bad they're not exploited to the maximum. Some of the platforms have tricky angles but the controls are tight and challenging. Nice job!

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
Nice little puzzle game ^^

thegoofromspace pretty much said everything that I was going to say. I would add that relying on depth perception in an isometric game is a recipe for disaster (See Sonic 3D Blast). I quite like the lok but man did that music get annoying fast. I don't know what was going on in the third elvel, but the only solution I found was to drop off the corner to the far left and air control my way onto the flag. I couldn't make the green floor do anything even by dropping on to it.

First some criticism:
The ball controls are a little bit too heavy and uncomfortable, but that might be just my personal preference.
On level 2 I have to take one key, open the gate, go back for second key and than back again to the second gate. Thats not exactly fun.
But it's solid base for a good game. With some more work this could be very good game.
I thought the isometric camera didn't help with the game, and I knocked a box off with a key and couldn't get it, but the game was nice.
