Descent Alpha by myachin 2013-09-01T11:03:00

great work with the artstyle but to difficult.

Certain Defeat by L 2013-08-26T19:44:00

genius.

Timespunkers by BNeutral 2013-09-07T16:38:00

awesome art! and that break room is just an amazing idea! had a problem with the weird controls at first, or maybe the whole way, but i figured i could just fire at all times and focus on the jumping and with that it worked fine. and sometimes it's hard to tell were the platforms are, so i thought at first that there was no way to get past that knight. otherwise, fun and polished game.

Dungen Dogan's Cursed Crew by Deconstructeam 2013-08-28T13:32:00

fantastic entry! the "introduction" was a little long but the learning curve was great, and i'm amazed at how much you've managed to make in such a short time. the music is fantastic also, played through the whole game and never got tired of it. very atmospheric.

Duke Dashington by AdventureIslands 2013-09-01T10:23:00

very polished game with good gameplay. great art and level design. my only problem is that i have some difficulties timing the dashes with the jumping.

NXTWPN10 by graebor 2013-09-03T18:36:00

gameplay, graphics, music, all visual effects, concept -- all fantastic. gets a little repetitive over the long run, but who cares.

Apotheosis by bytegrove 2013-09-10T17:25:00

good idea, and nicely designed. gameplay works great most of the time! great graphics and music too!

Corn PoP by 01rafael 2013-09-01T10:15:00

like the aesthetics. and i like popping corn.

Disk of Doom by hampa 2013-09-11T17:10:00

such great music! excellent executed concept!

CUTIE ADVENTURE WORLD X by Overkill 2013-08-30T20:03:00

such a wonderful game.

INSTIGATION by Steve Cochrane 2013-09-12T14:09:00

masterfully done. the concept and execution makes this one of the finest puzzle games i've played in a long time.

My Tenth Adventure by DiscoFish 2013-08-30T16:46:00

those graphics and the art style is phenomenal! sound is also very good, and the gameplay has a very interesting concept. would love to see this game get expanded on.

Mage Run: The Short Quest For The Legendary Yellow Cheese by Jens Nolte 2013-09-12T12:18:00

so, most of you think it's too fast - for me it's too slow, but that's my computer's fault. it looks great though!

Bloody Bob by Zener 2013-09-03T18:19:00

i knew you couldn't eat that cute puppy and get away with it! nice game.

Detective Awesomepants by xel 2013-09-02T17:19:00

everything is awesome. except maybe that i can't figure out what the logic behind the sumo wrestler case was.

Mocap Guy by lekochen 2013-08-28T17:37:00

simple, but great concept and good execution. hard and fun.

90 Degrees by HD408 2013-09-10T18:14:00

interesting experience. the use of the timer is actually very good despite making you feel like you must hurry on with the reading, and not stop to think for a sec. and i think the random bonus time add to this, it makes you more alert of what's actually happening. good work.

Pleading Rain by Brassawiking 2013-09-01T16:50:00

a little overwhelming at first -- and always very hectic -- but that's part of the feeling, and it fits the theme nicely. interesting, good writing and atmosphere.

Legend of Troll by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2013-08-29T10:34:00

great graphics, and was that some danish i read there? "ja, en stige".

promising gameplay, i look forward to the 10 levels version.

Survive by Andresh 2013-08-30T20:43:00

so simple but so fun. like a good bullet hell shooter.

The Call by Yakka 2013-09-03T13:25:00

amazing narrative! played it over and over and found the storytelling very well made. perhaps that the ending often felt like it was a little abrupt, and i wish the screen was wider, because i sometimes couldn't read all the text when i finished the sentences, but that's about all the criticism a have. great work!

Clockwork Cat by patrickgh3 2013-09-03T17:39:00

such a cute and polished little gem.

Inherity by foumart 2013-08-27T12:33:00

this is a great idea! i usually stay away from these type of games because the fighting takes forever. good work with the graphics and music too, but i felt that whether you would win or not was kinda random.

The Grassfires of Veldstar by Porpentine 2013-08-26T12:29:00

love the colors, design, sounds and the almost bullet-hell like aesthetics towards the end. yeah the music too.

Entropy by TwilightFlandre 2013-08-26T19:30:00

beautiful. especially like the music and atmosphere; the fading light and falling snow are very well made and match perfectly with each other. fitting title too.

evolution didnt happen overnight by fued 2013-09-01T09:55:00

it's a good concept and the way they evolve are sometimes really funny, though i don't really like the mechanics of not being able to control the "character" in any other way than jumping, especially when the screen randomly scrolls faster and the jumping isn't really precise.

Dilemma by Cthulhu 2013-08-29T16:11:00

i laughed a lot at the test results! good job!

SecondsXsecondS by SaintHeiser 2013-09-12T12:42:00

really innovative and very polished! good looking too, and very challenging. that feeling of slowly memorising the whole stage is great, and the fact that you made so that all abilities comes in the order you used them when you restart is perfect, really helps a lot and prevents it from being frustrating. great work!

The Saddest Landscape by BradleySmith 2013-08-26T16:44:00

this is amazing, i really look forward to see more of this!

Mörkret by Canti 2013-09-08T15:13:00

really nice animation, would like to see this get finished.

TIME SHIFTER by Split82 2013-09-11T16:04:00

amazing and innovative puzzles, great graphics, and that gentle music in the background was really good for the atmosphere. good work!

xhon by savethejets1 2013-09-11T15:41:00

solid gameplay, beautiful presentation!

Lodestar by folmerkelly 2013-09-05T13:00:00

stunning visuals and solid gameplay but to easy and repetitive.

Scraith by lambomang 2013-09-11T21:06:00

eerie atmosphere, but hard as hell.

Time Runner by Generalgore 2013-08-29T16:02:00

good graphics, especially the lightning effects. very hard thought, and in a lot of cases that just has to do with the mechanics, for example: when you walk toward and reach a wall, and hold down the button, the "character" stops but time goes on ticking. and it's really difficult to get into narrow pathways, most of the time it seems like i may have missed it by a millimetre, and so tries to fix this but of course get hit by some dart instead.

i had fun though, it's a very good concept.

Flooded Dungeons by ripatti 2013-08-30T20:36:00

great work, very polished, and there's some very clever game design here; for example, i love it that when time runs out you just don't die, instead you can see the water coming after you as you run for the exit.

the music, graphic style and level design is also very good.

Tower Infinity by esayitch 2013-08-28T17:24:00

original and complex.

Solitude by rxi 2013-09-04T17:35:00

fantastic entry. beautiful in every way.

Mr.President! (Web) by Richard Matey 2013-08-30T19:33:00

laughed so much! the ending is hilarious!

Get well soon by GSM Productions 2013-08-30T14:46:00

Couldn't play for long, for to reasons. 1. My computer gets overheated fast with a game this advanced. 2. The atmosphere, more so than the enemies, scare me so much a can barely open a door. This is of course a good thing.

Plus: great voice acting, opening and i love the games title.

Blanked. by Marcos Rodrigues 2013-09-03T18:44:00

promising. i like the graphic style.

'Speedrun' The Game by Dotanukii 2013-08-26T17:30:00

great artstyle!

The Unbelievable Adventures of Kamil the Cat by blackcode 2013-09-11T21:13:00

funny, cute and the ending is perfect!

Anhedonia in Memoriam by agumaster 2013-08-26T14:01:00

great artistic style and music. really like the color palette. to bad i suck on these kind on games, would really like to see the game world get expanded in some game where i didn't have to worry about time-limit.

Midlands Noire by Ysty 2013-08-26T10:44:00

love the aesthetics, the setting and the way you made me feel small and vulnerable. good implemented writing too.

Breakfast of Champignons by Ravenous Games 2013-09-04T18:36:00

better cook in real life but whatever, had a fun time!

RimorD by Verz 2013-08-28T09:49:00

great story, interesting and well told, and very creative.

10 by Benn 2013-08-31T22:19:00

very innovative, great sound and quite challenging. the controls felt strange though, but i got used to them after a while.

At the cafe by Pierrec 2013-08-31T11:05:00

haha, nice. great ending, and i like the music.

Penpals by killmonday 2013-09-01T18:24:00

wonderful story and artstyle! i'm having some problems with the controls and collisions like others have pointed out, and i think in was the third stage that was a lot harder then the ones that came after it, but otherwise good difficulty curve.

and i'm absolutely loving the atmosphere and music!

ARGENTUM FORM by blackotus 2013-09-05T12:22:00

gripping, haunting, powerful. gameplay, visuals, sounds -- everything fits perfectly together. great game!

Flicker by lalanl 2013-09-16T20:33:00

clever and fun, and pretty balanced difficulty curve. felt very complete in a way, and just that is a great achievement. good work with those graphics and the music too.

and thank you very much for your comment on my game!

Wing by CrownCity 2013-09-04T15:39:00

i little too hard for me, which mostly has to do with the camera. really like the concept and mood though, very original and nice.

Narcoleptic Chicken Kid by Lianne Booton 2013-09-15T14:47:00

fantastic graphics, sound and concept, but it gets a little tedious having to restart the game over and over as this takes a while.

The Devil That Comes by Zetsaika 2013-09-03T15:22:00

what an intense experience. impressive and highly innovative.

Short Nightmares by Martin_Monosys 2013-08-28T15:29:00

great atmosphere, very creepy. got stuck on the fourth night but you comment on the site helped me get to the end.

you could really expand on this, but there would be great to have some way of knowing what's up and down. so maybe something to help you distinguish the ground and sky.

Endless Run by gmaker 2013-08-30T17:10:00

the concept and execution is very well done; the graphics, sound, constant running and buying things along the way really makes this feel like a little journey -- you've managed to make it fit the theme and also made all the different components of the game fit well together. good work!

10 Second Defence by Christina Nordlander 2013-09-10T17:51:00

good writing and story, though i'm pretty worthless at text adventures of this kind and found it hard to figure out which verbs to use when. would have liked to have some kind of hint-system or something to help.

anyway, good work, and very creative solutions.

Robot Rodeo by anjack 2013-09-10T18:30:00

this was fun! i really enjoyed going from nothing to being able to survive almost anything.

Slime Quest by drkrunk 2013-09-07T19:16:00

great graphics and difficulty curve. clever puzzles. that last one with the invisible platforms got me though.

Xyloctopus by iterative deepening 2013-09-01T16:17:00

looks really good and seems interesting, but it's so hard to control.

1 AM by Soundboy 2013-08-26T09:37:00

good writing, and like a lot of others said, i really liked the way you could start over and over, but in the end it's not really that simple, and that may not be a bad thing.

The Aliens Came (10 seconds to choose) by porglezomp 2013-08-26T17:17:00

great writing and visuals! really impressive, it's only the ending that i didn't quiet like, but overall a good story and interesting setting. nice use of the timer to, simple but effective.

Gone in 10 Seconds by panurge 2013-09-08T15:40:00

funny game, and good work with the graphics, but my short fingers can't manage that stage with the Z and P. and it feels a little weird controlling with both the arrows and WASD, but maybe that's the point.

10 Second Sidekick by cjacobwade 2013-09-01T10:58:00

cool graphic design.

Firefly by kidder 2013-09-11T15:22:00

i liked that moment when i suddenly realised it was almost morning and the stars would fade away. nice entry.

Doctor Drown (Ph D) by paulmcgg 2013-09-07T16:24:00

funny and confusing, but rewarding. think i got a hang of how it worked after a while of playing and checking out you description. great soundtrack, like the theme of some supervillain in a bond movie. also, the art!

10 Seconds of Grey by Almax27 2013-09-01T11:26:00

very interesting and original. would love to see this get further development. the music and graphics are really something. highly entertaining even though it's a bit fuzzy.

MegaPunch by Nick Weihs 2013-09-11T20:58:00

AWESOME! perhaps the punching doesn't work really as well as it probably should, but it doesn't stop it from being very fun to play! also, the thing about pointing out were the other players are is great, it makes the game much more interesting and, for me, much more offensive and frantic. amazing job!

The Clocktower by Colorvade 2013-09-03T18:26:00

beautiful art. the gameplay works really well though i would like to be able to jump with the up-arrow instead of Z.

Sacrebleu! by Liz England 2013-08-26T15:35:00

great fun, and really good writing and programming! it gets a little repetitive over time, but i still had a good time with all the duels.

i ran into an error, however. in Zee Charcutier's fight, when he either waves the sausages or attacks i choosed to attack but got the other one. it seems you've mixed up the links, because when i tried it again and choose the sausages i attacked.

Dinosaur Jr. vs the 1960's by devi ever 2013-08-27T15:56:00

<3

Keeper by sparkleswirl 2013-08-27T17:20:00

the simple mechanics, writing and soothing atmosphere works really well together. the game makes me calm, contemplating. i like it.

Forever Alone by ShellfishGames 2013-08-28T10:20:00

i laughed a lot at the dialogue! absurd story and great atmosphere, good job!

Dimming by Kep 2013-08-30T14:44:00

Cool idea, very mysterious atmosphere, never got creepy but there's definitely potential for it to be.

exposure by zillix 2013-09-11T17:39:00

beautiful game! i didn't think it was confusing at all; your instructions made the objective pretty clear and the rest is exploration and interaction. good use of dialogue and gameplay to tell the background and story.

A Living Shell by kraj0t 2013-09-05T12:48:00

great atmosphere; the visuals and sound really sets the mood.

Glutun's Big Adventure by MrBenjaminBowman 2013-08-28T10:32:00

cute artstyle, but it's a little hard to read the text. also, how do you beat the boss?

Unseen by Neo-Blue 2013-09-12T14:30:00

nice, scary take on the formula. impressive audio.

Royal Defenestrator by BasmanovDaniil 2013-09-15T11:16:00

humorous, and the way you deal and experiment with commandment and interactivity is really clever. great work!

Bombotron by Zammy 2013-08-31T10:07:00

a managed to beat all the available stages. you used the theme very well , would like to play the other stages as well if you make them. good clean graphics and engaging gameplay.

You have 10 seconds by DY 2013-08-28T10:40:00

awesome artstyle! the shooting works great too.

Vacuous by Rhinoceros 2013-08-30T14:43:00

Like a rudimentary bullet hell shmup, not to hard, fun, and good although repetitive boss battles. The button-layout felt very natural, and controls were responsive. Took me a while to get used to the hit box, but i'm not sure if i really want it to be smaller. Managed to get to wave 80 and got a score of 12640; i like that the game continues with random waves, cause i didn't want it to spot after those three stages. Good work!

Hurry UP! by Sense 2013-08-28T18:11:00

great design! i also like your take on linearity and the theme; to not be able to go back in time, i.e. left, made me more aware of my jumping. good controls, but the game could do with a little more variation, and i guess that's where the power-ups come in.

your character design is really good, so is the background, but maybe the level design could become a little more organic.

Bombed Life by Toshiro 2013-08-30T14:36:00

i like it! had to play and get all the endings, and one (you probably know which one) was fantastic! good fun.

Angry Guards by Diptoman 2013-09-01T17:13:00

your comment on gamejolt really helped me with the first level, and from that one on it was a blast. great game: clever, fantastic music and mood, good graphics and balanced difficulty curve.

Are you? by Drubert 2013-08-28T15:50:00

good story and writing, and simple but effective art. a lot of people wants more interaction and choices, i don't think it does, it's good as it is. branching stories are nice and all, but this is too.

Run by smrt_co 2013-08-30T20:53:00

fantastic concept, but could be a little easier, sometimes it feels quite random if you die, or perhaps it's just my computer that's too slow.

i can actually see this turned into a lengthy experience, so please keep working on it.

Crazy Genetist by ratalaika 2013-09-15T11:30:00

once i figured out what i was supposed to do i just played it over and over. clever and fun.

Scorpio 10 by javifugitivo 2013-08-30T14:39:00

This is a really good concept, simple but fun, and i feel like it's a lot more complex than it first seems like. For me though, it's a little bit to hard, and that's partly because that the game at times don't respond when i click, but it also feels like my mouse really can't move that fast. I should probably go borrow my brothers smartphone and play it on that.

Good job anyway, i enjoyed my time with it, played it over and over but i'm sad that i couldn't even finish that first level.

The Wrong Door by Tangible Games 2013-09-12T13:29:00

looks and sounds amazing, but it's just too hard. in that scooter-sequence, the fact that you're always in the centre of the screen makes it very hard to react in time when you speed up and has to avoid the stones. i also tried to open the safe but when i had done that once i couldn't click on it any more after that, which seemed strange. and i would actually like to be able to remember were all the things are instead of having to click randomly at the drawers, hoping to get the right one.

but, all these things aside, this is a fantastic entry.

QuickHunt by MvdLaar 2013-08-28T14:15:00

good, fast paced and smooth gameplay with fantastic visuals. relies a little to much on luck and i'd like to be able to change the camera, but great entry!

10 Seconds to leave by Caracole 2013-08-28T14:05:00

guess this is a game i may come back to and play again just to try to understand and to achieve "victory". the gameplay is a little bit distracting with this in mind though, but it's also really interesting. very abstract, great visuals and i also like the introduction.

VIP by Unept 2013-08-30T20:16:00

minimalistic and well executed in almost every way. not very challenging, but the difficulty curve was good so if you choose to extend the game it could get harder. i like that you have to be involved with the game all the way through, from planning to protecting. also, the music.

Deep by tamy 2013-08-26T20:55:00

fantastic visual style, but the controls are slippery and it's kinda glitchy, so even though i would like to see more of the world it becomes to frustrating as it is now.

Back for Seconds by RobotParking 2013-08-27T09:27:00

what a strange world you've created. i really had no idea what was happening in the beginning but as i continued playing i got into the whole atmosphere your writing has. the colours are distracting, and that fits very well with the rest of the game.

Legend of Epikouros by Erhune 2013-09-01T09:51:00

the gameplay isn't really fun but the concept is so amazing i don't care.

10 Seconds to Speech by Bruno Massa 2013-09-01T09:59:00

original idea, but i didn't understand much at all, would like some tutorial or the like.
p.s. basing my opinions on the jam version, haven't tried your latest yet.

10 Seconds to Speech by Bruno Massa 2013-09-01T11:30:00

okay, so i've played the latest version now. sorry but i still don't understand it.

AEREO by manuq 2013-09-07T10:43:00

really great artwork. simple gameplay, but fun, could easily see this get expanded into something bigger.

Spoken by chrisamaphone 2013-08-27T15:10:00

woah, very original, inspiring and really well done. i've been to a couple of poetry readings so this resonated with me a lot. also, you're a great reader.

Sonnet 49 by 65C816 2013-08-31T12:41:00

definitely remind me of rohrer's passage. it's a very interesting game, but i would like to be able to read trough the text two times before it dissolves (which is a fantastic thing for it to do actually; when time go by the world some into existence but then then disappear again, with the flow of time).

good use of the poem, but as i said, i would like to read it through and at least get a glimpse of what it's about, so i can contemplate on this when i play the next segment.

Amp'd on Health Potions by Radnen 2013-08-27T17:39:00

good game overall, very hectic and i liked all those little comments that flew by as you had to rush ahead.

Fast Explorer by Acrimiens 2013-08-28T10:04:00

can't figure out how the beat the 5th room before the treasure, but i really like everything with it and hope you'll expand on the game in the future.

Don't Walk by GrinningDolphin 2013-08-27T09:48:00

i like your writing style, and all the different choices made me play it over and over. nice work, and the theme is easy to relate to.

Ten Seconds To Live by TiRSO! 2013-09-07T11:02:00

great entry! fantastic visuals and good use of the theme for the story and gameplay. but i didn't like using ctrl and space, used space would have sufficed. also, the music stops every time i interact, which i found quite frustrating. the music is good though, sets the mood.

Pizzapocalypse 20XX by GrooveMan 2013-08-27T14:40:00

i enjoyed this a lot, the writing and artwork is great.

The 10 (other) Seconds Journey by PaperBlurt 2013-08-26T15:54:00

creative take on the theme, i like it!

Divide and bounce by simple 2013-09-01T09:53:00

fresh and interesting spin on the platforming formula. quite fun.

CaptureZ by whydoidoit 2013-09-15T11:42:00

great idea, but i would have loved some way to control the camera, it's very hard to hit those annoying UFOs. if you even need those things, perhaps at later levels but the other gameplay is surely enough. would also like to play this without time constraints.

Time Slime Arena by TomCooper3D 2013-09-10T19:03:00

crazy difficult but very fun! and the artstyle is great!

Approaching Ten by Reverend Speed 2013-08-30T17:39:00

looks really promising, the idea, perspective and visual style is great! please finish it!

O by Once Upon a Team 2013-09-07T21:21:00

such a meditative experience. well done!

Planet Smasher by thesunnyk 2013-09-03T15:08:00

cool mechanics. kinda fun once you get the hang of it.

Hourglass by DoubleS 2013-08-31T09:57:00

good take on the theme, although the enemies were more threatening than the countdown. hard, but quite balanced, and as a fan of bullet hell shooters this was a fresh spin on the formula.

Injured Eternity by Lissar 2013-09-12T13:56:00

lovely art style and good atmosphere. very challenging, still haven't finished it put i think i'm close; i've applied everything (?) to the brush and silver plate and think i only need to find out were to put it.

oh, and it's well written.

Ten Seconds of LASER by AGDG_REJECT 2013-08-29T15:48:00

nice graphics, but as you said yourself, it's kinda buggy so it's hard to walk up or down up in the maze.

The Clock's Curse by M.O.U 2013-09-10T18:56:00

stunning artstyle, and good sound. nice difficulty curve, and some of the puzzles are really good.

Notes on departure by kristoffer zetterberg 2013-08-27T09:58:00

thank you all for playing and commenting!

Notes on departure by kristoffer zetterberg 2013-09-02T13:02:00

@Diptoman: screwed up? seems to me like you got quite the funny ending. but after all, it's up to you how you want to interpret the story.

thanks for playing!

10 Second Bureaucrat by nikkesen 2013-08-27T10:42:00

the music and writing really fits the theme. it's not often you see these jonah twine games either, and this was very well done.

Bob Won't Be Late by TeamBob 2013-08-28T09:08:00

i little too hard, and the controls are bad, but the visuals are great and i like the idea. maybe if you could control the camera by holding down the right mouse click instead of it just changing to a different angle, as all the available angles where kinda frustrating to navigate through.

DEAD OF THE NIGHT by tiooonnn 2013-08-27T14:52:00

to bad it ended after the first day, i wanted to see what happened next. good use of music, you don't see that often in twine games. very ominous.

2621-0321 - Are you ready to explore a laboratory? by Livsk 2013-09-11T21:26:00

great atmosphere, very creepy. the .txt-file is a nice addition, too.

Antidote by Antidote 2013-08-31T09:57:00

impressive! you've managed to squeeze as much of everything into each room and you still make it feel condensed and seldom overwhelming. the graphics are great, sounds is good too and it's a blast to play. very polished. like a said, impressive!

interesting game. striking visuals and atmosphere.

BeautyIsTheBeast by Valandre 2013-09-11T15:49:00

too freaking advanced for my computer, so i can only judge the sound and graphics, but these are great. the premise seems interesting, wish i could play it!

cute and gory and awesome. and good gameplay too.

Inky Breeding by ryantouk 2013-08-29T10:34:00

minimalistic and fun. really nice work with the style and gameplay, like @Rabbits said: that you don't loose by clicking the wrong one was a good design choice. got to level 13, but i'll be sure to come back and play it again.

Castle Escape by naufr4g0 2013-08-30T17:20:00

haha, impossible game. terrific music though.

Ripcord by Andromatta 2013-08-28T17:55:00

fun little game, got four of the endings. a little frustrating that you had to listen to that explosion over and over though.

Tokyo Station by Mark Ffrench 2013-09-02T17:41:00

so cool. love the concept, the visuals, the music, the countdown -- everything except for the controls, that are kinda clunky, especially when you move sideways, and that hasn't really been fixed in the postcompo version either.

Turnip Archer by LastResortGames 2013-09-12T16:01:00

good visuals and gameplay.

Dark Interval by alexandervrs 2013-09-10T19:50:00

scary and very hard toward the ending. with the graphics, sound and use of the theme you've created a really tense atmosphere. impressive!

Water Closet by Angrycrow 2013-09-10T15:38:00

confusing at first, then i had quite fun. good concept and execution.

Orction House Panic by Dry Tree 2013-09-01T11:14:00

very cool and original concept, and quite difficult. great visuals and audio.

wonderful story and art, and great mechanics. have to play you post-compo version too.

surrealistically crude and atmospherically haunting. a personal and cogent entry. nice work!

Project: "Explosion" by Simple Ghost 2013-09-10T15:31:00

the gamplay really felt strange in slow-motion, would have been nice if you could switch between normal and slow-mo. or have it in normal speed to begin with, and then when the explosion draws near you switch to slow-mo. i understand why you want it the way it is; the graphics and physics are fantastic!

10s Zombies by Myyyvothrr 2013-09-01T11:38:00

a little slow -- but of course, that fits the concept.

haha, adorably awesome! love the music, visuals and story. a little repetitive gameplay, but definitely fun and polished.

i'll second that comment (pun intended).

Power For 10 by orunbot 2013-09-10T18:40:00

very simple, but quite fun. the difficulty curve is great!

TOO MANY BULLETS by mklee 2013-09-01T16:30:00

very well crafted. animations, gameplay, difficulty curve. i like that it isn't just random bullets flying around, but that you have to think ahead as much as you have to react fast. like a good bullet hell. great job!

RetroType by Blinked 2013-08-31T09:56:00

very well made, and good choice of graphics.

Teleportant by Miltage 2013-08-26T16:49:00

nice artstyle and smooth gameplay.

Jackton Factory by Pitƶik4 2013-09-10T19:26:00

great concept and use of the theme, and i kinda dig the music, but i would like for it to be more ways to beat it. and that thing with the black room is a little off-putting.

still though, it's a great concept and puzzle, and if you extend it or maybe make more ways to interact with the characters and possibly more endings, i'd love to play more!

E.B.D.S by EggDestroyer 2013-09-01T10:33:00

genius intro. good, clever gameplay.

Burial by ben 2013-12-16T11:16:00

amazing use of twine, but for some reason i can't get past the train part, assuming i should be able to do that. there's an $identity variable visible at times, maybe it has something to do with this? or perhaps the theme?

Vega Core by PTSnoop 2013-12-17T21:06:00

thanks for checking out my game, but i'm sad to say that your game doesn't work on my computer. but i like your artstyle, that much i can say!

yay, it works! very challenging, polished, and innovative design. good job, and very impressive considering the time limit.

Jam Panic! by xhunterko 2013-12-19T13:45:00

i agree with arrogant.gamer's comment on how to make that "women can't make games"-joke work better. though, as you can't progress if you don't stop being an ignorant dude i think you got the point across.

but, well, i liked this. seems like your protagonist and mine shared a similar experience.

i like the story. and you should definitely link to the guide you used, just to confuse us all the more. like, make it seem like meta-edutainment-game, or something.

CAN YOU MAKE A HIT MILLION-DOLLAR GAME IN ONLY ONE TRY by quaternary 2013-12-23T13:43:00

nice twist at the end.

Red and Gold by Christina Nordlander 2013-12-19T15:27:00

impressive, and vaguely disturbing, the way i wouldn't let my human get intelligent enough to see how i used it.

One Life by SnoringFrog 2013-12-19T12:31:00

this was great, you used the theme to great effect. i mean, it's been done before in other games, but i was still very surprised when i wanted to try out the other storylines but couldn't.

the story is perhaps a bit short (took me about 5 minutes), and i don't really understand what the beginning had to do with anything, but i liked it nonetheless. good, sparse prose, just the way i want it.

0RBITALIS by AlanZucconi 2013-12-21T13:08:00

the songs are really beautiful, the set the tone perfectly. and like chardish said, your use of Twine is very good.

the writing was perhaps a little on the slow part sometimes, but i liked it.

One Wing by theholychicken 2013-12-16T10:05:00

aww, i loved doing the back-flips. nice work!

Spectrum by Keith Evans 2013-12-23T21:30:00

nice puzzles, visuals and music! the collision detection is a little strange, and the controls a not very precise, even in the post-compo, but great job nonetheless!

Uno Terra by Diptoman 2014-01-05T13:51:00

nice work! a little hard and complicated, but fun and intriguing.

Alone/Awake by PaperBlurt 2013-12-16T11:34:00

nice, you really used the animations to great effect! interesting and good use of twine.

p.s. i enjoyed your dad vs. unicorn a lot too. and that restart-button in the left corner that you've used in both games is a great and subtle innovation.

p.p.s. thanks for checking out my game!

An ordinary story about death by irma vep 2013-12-17T21:01:00

"so the soul can fly out", what a beautiful thing to say, though i imagine it can come of as insensitive to some.

i like your style and writing, how you're not overly sentimental or dwell on details or use too many descriptions, but instead let each page be a small picture and let me speculate on the other things. really touching story.

one thing though: the choice, it's not clear what it is that you're referring to with the yes/no-answer, "go or not go?" would perhaps work better.

Cure the infected! by archaeometrician 2013-12-19T13:31:00

walking through the crowd makes this kinda frustrating and hard, but in all other ways this is really impressive.

The ruling party by kristoffer zetterberg 2013-12-16T11:34:00

hi, thanks for checking out my game!

yeah, meta is all the rage right now! no, but seriously, my trend-o-meter is constantly off, so i guess it's a fun coincidence. or perhaps twine is suited for meta-stories.

and yes, we had. those sure were the days.

The ruling party by kristoffer zetterberg 2013-12-16T21:59:00

@theholychicken: hm, what do you mean by choke points?

and thanks for playing and commenting, all of you!

The ruling party by kristoffer zetterberg 2013-12-19T14:47:00

hm, seems like i accidentally changed the original version while making the postcompo. it's now back to the original state, and there should be no bugs left.

thanks for all your comments!

The ruling party by kristoffer zetterberg 2013-12-19T18:05:00

haha, yeah, i always like to pay tribute to the things and people that's been inspiring me at the moment of creation. i'm glad it had such an effect on you.

The ruling party by kristoffer zetterberg 2013-12-20T22:11:00

thanks for your kind words Christina! we should, and i would love to play more twine games in swedish too!

YOGO Submarines by lilinx 2013-12-19T12:17:00

very well done. i've only been playing by myself so far, but i usually play chess by myself too, so yeah, i guess good games work with or without a partner. the sound is great, and i appreciate the cheat-mode, it makes it all the more accessible.

Protoport by Und[0]ne Devs 2013-12-19T15:02:00

hard as hell, but fun. like @scoobyben i also kept teleporting into obstacles. maybe less randomness to the obstacles, and more easy ones in the beginning?

and btw, i fixed the bug in my game, so there shouldn't be any problem with it now. thanks for playing it!

1837 by fizzhog 2013-12-19T15:30:00

like the music a lot too.

Tall Grass by Lipedal 2013-12-21T14:17:00

just lovely.

You Only Get One by C.Lodwick 2013-12-18T14:47:00

yay, i've been looking forward to playing your game since i played Garden!

i really like the style and feel of it all, but as some said: music please! and the controls gets real slow when it gets dark, for some reason (in the web-version).

GRAIL by pLaw 2013-12-28T18:20:00

one of the best so far. amazing in every way, except maybe a little to much trial & error at some points, especially those that has to do with unforeseeable attacks.

Dinosaur Ranger Interview: Burrito Challenge SUPREME by Udell Games 2013-12-21T11:12:00

just too hard for me to get anywhere at all, even on the lowest setting, and not being able to skip to the "play" makes it kind of frustrating to read the same thing over and over. still, i like the humor and premise of it all.

The Day the Laughter Stopped by Crabman 2013-12-21T12:30:00

One Earth by seantheartist 2013-12-17T19:23:00

great first game! your graphical design and attention to detail is amazing, the game looks beautiful. gameplay-wise it's fun, but as i can't tell when i'm being shot at (i guess?) it's kind of frustrating when i die.

Papaya by Tsumei 2013-12-21T12:36:00

good and responsive, though a little slow, controls. like the graphics too.

Lestac by almightysuit 2013-12-19T14:34:00

fantastic music and graphics! gameplay reminded me of knytt. fun, good controls, oh -- and edge-grabbing! overall good design, but some of the back-tracking became kind of frustrating. did i mention how good the soundtrack is?

one of the best games i've played so far.

Bermuda by Scifer 2013-12-17T20:36:00

good graphics and interesting setting, but you could have expanded on it a bit more. and there's really no way to tell which one's the culprit.

Dragon Child by fractoluminous 2013-12-23T11:57:00

fantastic writing; powerful, poetic and minimalistic. you manage to create a foreboding and tense atmosphere with it, and use the visual style and passages to great effect.

i'm not very fond of the grey parts, mostly it looks kind of cheap, and it detracts from the story a bit, though i like what you do with that part, narrative-wise.

all in all, a well told and powerful story.

Bombevo by harsanalif 2013-12-17T09:51:00

challenging and fun!

Mayor's Holiday by Corné Dorrestijn 2013-12-17T20:09:00

what a sweet and fun game! too bad there's no music to accompany one of the endings!

H P Y by WBojangles 2013-12-23T21:40:00

you manage to convey a lot of emotions and messages through very small means here. i especially "liked" the part where i wanted to move towards the blue one, but couldn't. powerful.

Cocaine by stigmawall 2013-12-19T17:59:00

very cool and innovative use of twine, though i find the story a little confusing with all the characters and stuff that's happening.

really like the way you use that map, haven't seen that before.

nice work, very clever game.

Fountain by Terry 2013-12-21T11:48:00

thought-provoking and touching. your game connects to the theme on so many layers.

spoilers:
in the end i just stood there next to the fountain, wanting to collect all the things, but knowing that if i stepped away from the fountain i would soon die. forever young, but with no purpose.

Monocraft by MaTX 2013-12-21T11:23:00

amazing! i love this. every jam there's a couple of these kind of games, but this one stands out, as it makes me so happy, much thanks to the graphics, the sky and that fantastic song!

GAMEHAX by zaratustra 2013-12-21T14:02:00

amazing entry, but as some have said before: music please! and that collision detection that GarethIW pointed out can make it frustrating at times.

impressive work, great job!

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

The world beneath by Spotline 2014-05-18T14:05:00

fantastic sound! using those torches to light up the caves and simultaneously getting the sound and color effect created a really vibrant atmosphere! to bad they run out so quickly though! and the random generated nature of the game was a little so-so, my first try didn't include any more holes in the ground so i was stuck on the same level i fell down to.

oh, and great intro!

The Sadness of Rocky Barbato by PaperBlurt 2014-05-19T14:49:00

hej PaperBlurt!

fisketur by kristoffer zetterberg 2014-04-29T11:13:00

thanks for playing!

amazing! extremely unfair but fun nonetheless! and looks as well ass sounds superb! great work!

Greys by ccglp 2014-05-18T16:04:00

played it on my nexus 7 and it worked great! but it's a bit frustrating having to replay it all over again and again if you do some small mistake and miss a secret. anyway, great vibe, the music and style really sets the mood.

Ascent by sstrandberg 2014-05-11T11:31:00

Sword and Shovelry by tayl1r 2014-05-04T16:13:00

lovely game boy-graphics. the gameplay is good and has a little strategy to it, but as others have pointed out: the collisions are a bit bad.

adding a death-animation for the enemies would be nice too. also, i was confused by having two hearts when i die after three hits.

oh, and what a great name!

nicely written, not just the prose but how you tell the story. spotted one typo at (one of?) the ending/s: "you never to me that". should be "told", i reckon.

- too hard for me!
- slippery controls

great work overall!

Capsule by PaperBlurt 2014-09-04T10:13:00

"To not being _be_ alone at the same time as you approach, nay stalk, with caution."

minns inte exakt vad det stod men:
"Space-Decibels" - borde det inte vara "Space-disciple" med tanke på kontexten, eller är det något skämt jag inte förstår?

Capsule by PaperBlurt 2014-09-04T10:15:00

oops, doesn't work att skriva vissa tecken tydligen. oh well, du fattar antar jag.

the only bad thing about this game is its lack of scoring system and that it gets a little monotonous after a while - the music, graphics and controls are simply amazing!
