LD27 — 10 Seconds

tiny terrors by berkano 2013-08-31T21:37:00

Fairly decent game, the controls don't seem to be the standard rts controls, so getting used to the hotkeys took some time. Kinda fun but 10 seconds not enough time to fend off attacks and the gameplay was not that deep, I mean creating more warriors would have been cool.

Orbital Brothers by ezolotko 2013-08-26T05:09:00

The scrolling gets nauseating, lol. Collecting the enemy is an interesting concept nevertheless.

Apple Harvest by Spelchan 2013-08-26T04:44:00

Fairly simple and straight forward. (Feels better when played on an iPad or some touch device).

Speedster by disease 2013-08-26T04:52:00

An intriguing platformer. I found myself not attacking enemies, but trying to dodge them creatively.

10seconds by otresnjak 2013-08-31T21:51:00

This is a hilarious take on you have 10 seconds to live theme. Short, sweet, straightforward game. The game is really about getting all of the achievements. :)

CHRGNG PLS W8 by bonsairobo 2013-08-26T05:15:00

Fun game, but the controls are too ambidextrous for me.

Flippin' Matrix by DaVince 2013-08-27T00:19:00

Great game, but lacked innovative gameplay nearing the end, if it were more like the beginning all the way through it would easily be 5/5 for me.

I didn't have time for sounds or music in my game, so way to go on that front!

Hellish Copter by Laelien 2013-08-31T21:45:00

I liked the sound effects and the gameplay can be fun. But for the life of me I could not get past the second level. It was impossible. I think this game suffered from second-nature testing where you get so good testing your forget about new/unfamiliar users. :P

Fire Axe blood Massacre by Malor 2013-08-26T04:53:00

Ugh, I cannot in good conscious trust this installer. Sorry will pass on this one. :(

Amp'd on Health Potions by Radnen 2013-08-29T19:13:00

Thank you all for playing it so far! :D

I've been thinking of making a longer version, but I'm knee deep in college stuff right now (it'll be over soon) so sometime after that I will.

Tip: if it's too hard, just keep (ab)using the save stones.

Ship Escape by pcmccull 2013-08-26T04:58:00

Solid game, but frantic! When I move the cursor around on a desktop computer it will slip off, but that's a slight issue nevertheless.

Grind by headchant 2013-08-31T21:59:00

I think the balance and pacing was off. If you could make mana potions more accessible you can keep the timer going and it becomes like a game of catch-up wrapped in an RPG format. Loved the style and combat though very old school. :)

Reassessment by tacograveyard 2013-08-26T04:40:00

Way too hard! Nice atmosphere and music though.

E.B.D.S by EggDestroyer 2013-08-31T22:08:00

Fun game, was actually quite good at it. Love timing games. :)

LD28 — You Only Get One

Epic Last Bottle Of Milk by psychomonster 2013-12-17T23:01:00

Liked the overall feel, but hated tapping the arrow keys so much.

Spee the Sperm by Nazariglez 2013-12-17T23:27:00

Fun game, hard controls, but nice overall. Definitely a unique submission.

Cup's Quest by duskpn 2013-12-17T23:31:00

The audio was loud and squeeling, ugh! The game was interesting though and I'm not sure on the 3D when 2D would have worked perhaps better.

One Legged Jonny by ChuiGum 2013-12-17T23:23:00

Sometimes the spikes are before the jetpack making it impossible to play. The one leg idea is innovative, but executed as a basic Duke Nukem styled platformer takes that innovation away. Well done on the theme though.

Fishbowl by auto_suggestion 2013-12-18T02:02:00

A short fun and sweet game. Loved it. :)

One Earth, One Defender by Mental Atrophy 2013-12-17T23:41:00

A solid game. Learning how to use your thrusters right and shooting carefully are your biggest goals in the game. I likwe how you can damage the earth too, and I like the simple controls. Very fun!

Cellar Rush by Radnen 2013-12-17T03:15:00

I liked the music too! The programming language for this game is JavaScript (spidermonkey v1.5). Not v8 variant or anything fast, so a very slow language indeed.

Otherwise it was made in the Sphere game engine which was written in C++.

Cellar Rush by Radnen 2013-12-17T21:12:00

It is beatable, but at the end of the day you are trying for a highscore. :) It was a last second decision to bump up the enemy count from 6 to 12, and boy did that make a difference!

Cellar Rush by Radnen 2013-12-18T00:40:00

I just updated the game with minor bugfixes and a backstory screen. I don't think this is breaking the rules, the game is largely left unchanged. Keep having fun!

Cellar Rush by Radnen 2013-12-23T00:39:00

Thank you Jeremias, there was a lot more I wanted to add but some time constraints got in the way. I definitely wanted more traps, enemy knockback, enemies that fly, throwing projectiles etc. But the core systems took awhile to code, and I'm still not too happy about some stuff. But definitely these are areas of improvement when I continue this project idea (if it does continue).

One Shot by Flatgub 2013-12-17T23:52:00

Very nice game, but hard as all heck. I disliked the 1x scale, and figured out too late it can be changed. The one bullet concept I've seen floating around, it's a good one. Ninjas need no bullets, lol.

One shot, One opportunity. by Sr. Nice 2013-12-17T23:46:00

The game is not too terribly fun since you have to constantly pick up your bullet - not a bad thing, but the enemies move so fast it's hectic! Timing how you shoot and where you place your bullet become important, definitely an interesting game mechanic.

Deep Sea Mining Company by loggs2 2013-12-18T02:40:00

A great mining game, made better by the fact you have to think about how and where you drill.

Save Zoe by Lorenzo MaierĂº 2013-12-18T04:02:00

Great game, overall. I find it hard to play with the control scheme, but that's me. It has wonderful art and sound.

MediQuest by chikun Dev Team 2013-12-18T02:17:00

A fun, well paced platforming game! Loved it.

You Can Only Win by yapshuter63 2013-12-18T02:43:00

A fun, funny game. A bit too easy. There is also a bug by jumping too much and jumping out.

One Small Step by metalslime 2013-12-17T23:36:00

The game is fun and challenging, as with all platformers your timing gets better. The speedup blocks make it more than just a lousy platformer: it adds variety to the difficulty.

Only one chance at one way out by Gerben Limburg 2013-12-18T02:34:00

A very well done maze game, by adding the fact you have to type your way through refreshes the experience.

Gods of the Yggdrasil by ocathalain 2013-12-18T02:05:00

I don't know what to say, if you have nobody to play with, there is little to do!

Cubinca by Killswitch 2013-12-18T02:09:00

Could not get the red block to move, so will not vote. :/

Open Forest by koller-digital 2013-12-18T02:29:00

Couldn't get a single adventurer to kill a monster, and I never saw any huts. Interesting concept though.

Biofuel by Steven Colling 2013-12-17T23:17:00

Really nice and atmospheric. Wish there was a distinct goal to the game, like a percent survival that goes up the more biogas you contribute. If the threshold is not reached you get a message that basically says people died etc, and that you should try harder next time (to add replayability).
