Really enjoyed this relaxing little game, nice job!
I really liked the graphics. I couldn't figure out how to build anything apart from the basic buildings. The AI was very slow, and seemed like it would take a long time for either of us to complete the game.
Absolutely stunning, brutal gameplay and nightmarish sounds & music - top job!!
Stunning game!
This looks great but I didn't rate it as it runs way too fast on my PC! Please slow it down to make it playable, I think this fits within the rules of the compo.
Limited yet beautiful!
Really nicely put together, a great little puzzler that kept me entertained for slightly longer than the 2 minutes you suggested :-) Nice job!
I found this via your post-mortem post. It's very much the kind of game I would create so I thoroughly enjoyed it! I understand why players might find it difficult at first, but with a little patience / thought it becomes clear how to stay safe and rack up the points (ambushing passing caravans from the forest is fun). In my opinion it is very well balanced, the possible exception being how fast some of the shooting enemies are to react to your presence. Great job!
Seriously impressive! Crunchy graphics, great mechanics and fun to play, nice job!
Completely bonkers. Love it. That music is growing on me...
Really impressed by the quality of the controls (selecting/ordering units) and overall balance of the game, slickest LD entry I've seen in a long time! nice job
Very cool retro feel and crunchy graphics, neat mechanics too, really enjoyed playing it, nice job!
Definitely the funniest game I've found so far in LD33!
Great graphics and the enemy animations were pretty slick. Quite fun to play, just needed a bit more challenge/variety and maybe some music! Nice job!
Nice ominous sounding music!
I'm amazed by the level of detail you've gone to with the game mechanics and graphics/animations especially interaction with the environment - has a very hand-crafted feel to it and fun to play, nice job!!
Quite simple but very well put together. Made me want more :-)
What a great twist! The AI is pretty good. Genuinely fun to play and quite challenging trying to get all the ghosts to do what you want.
Really great job and congrats on making your first entry to the compo, really liked the gameplay, mechanics, music and sound, shame you didn't get time to make more levels as it was pretty fun!
Nice music and SFX! The graphics and animations were well done too. Would be great to see a more complete version. Nice work tho!
Beautiful graphics!
Beautiful graphics and music, very immersive! Jumping up those small square platforms got quite frustrating. Very well put together though, nice job!
Great fun to play, lovely graphics, cool music, by far the best entry I've seen so far this LD. Nice job!!
I couldn't quite figure out what was going on, as you say it's very unfinished, but looks like some clever stuff happening and a lot of potential here.. hope you are inspired to finish it off :-)
Incredible! Such a creative idea. Took a while to get the hang of it, then was in the groove. Bit weird playing on PC where I had to press ENTER for the middle button. Nice job!!
Really slick animation and gameplay.. Nice job! Made me wish for some sound + music!
Quite fun to play and bounce around!
Very nice controls & animations! Very challenging - a bit too hard for me - but would probably reward a more patient player :-) Sounds were a bit harsh, would have been better without them. Very good all round, nice job.
Quite cool, would have been great with some sound!
Very nice job and great way to fit into the theme! Trying to get up the spiky platforms on the right hand side was pretty frustrating. Would love a bit of music/sounds
Some quite cool ideas but a bit confusing to play!
Keep On Trucking!
Funny, crazy little game, love the musical element :-)
Wow, just wow. Really immersive and genuinely scared me - should not have played this last thing at night :-) thank goodness it's only on a small screen & not a 3D headset.
Very creative idea and hypnotic to play, kept me busy for a while!
Completely bonkers! Good fun!
Very cool! My eyes hurt now!
Beautiful crispy graphics and fun gameplay! (Challenging but in the right way). Would be great with a bit of sound!
Neat concept! Very tempting to try & be clever with the moves but I end up getting burned each time :-)
Very creative and fun to play! Took me a few goes but was not prepared to give up, got me hooked. Nice job!
Cool concept! Love the music. I got up to level 21.
Seriously impressed to see a multiplayer game come out of LD! Great fun to play. Needs some SFX :-)
Nice crisp graphics, sound and great music. Feels very polished. Got that crunchy arcade game feel.
Nice one! I scored infinity
Refreshing to see some hand-drawn (painted?) gfx and nice music!
Really neat concept, and love the pixely graphics. Quite challenging too. Reminded me a little bit of Eliss.
This is a cool idea, wish you could have had more time to finish it off! Nice job though.
Wow, what an atmospheric game, even though the graphics are quite simple, the creatures in the darkness feel genuinely creepy. Really love the music. One of the best entries I've played this LD.
Really loved the pixel gfx and fun gameplay. Found it hard the first few times but then got the hang of it. Can't believe you used barley as your food resource as well?!?! Nice job.
Impressed this is your first ever game and LD - nice work!
Something about this I found really addictive. Sweet music and nicely balanced gameplay - cool concept. Just too hard for poor old me... nice job though!
Wow - I'm having nightmares tonight! Love the music and gfx and the weird wormy people. I'm scared
Very original and funny - best game I've played so far :-) Nice work!
Funky music! Super-hard to start with but I got the hang of it after a while - rewards repeat playing. Nice one :-)
Really nice aesthetic and love the crisp graphics. Would be great to see you develop this further :-)
Really fun to play! Sounds are hilarious. Reminds me of the good old days of Scorched Earth (yes, before Angry Birds) </hipster> Nice job!
Nice idea. Impressed with the delivery as a Chrom app :-)
Pretty fun and nice level design! Would be great to have some sound, and moving enemies. Good job though!
Great music and a cool concept, nice job!
Some cool ideas there! Though I think the keys on my laptop will pop off if I play it much longer.
I liked the way this was going!
This is really well put together. Great level design and controls are smooth - very playable. Love the zombie rave soundtrack :-) Nice job!
Without a doubt one of the most creative and frantic LD entries I've ever played - a real challenge - will keep coming back to this one! Nice work! The crash/state saving mechanic is wicked.
Great fun! Love the mix of retro 2D fonts and 3D models. Didn't find it too challenging but stopped after t6he first 6 or 7 levels... does it get harder?
Loving the XM music! I didn't get all the requirements working yet to run the game, but will try to figure it out.
That was neat! I'm not very good at paying attention to instructions, but it became clear what to do after a few tries. Nice job :-)
Madness! Great fun, nice job!
Completely bonkers and creative, love it! Maxxed out everything but just not good enough to complete it. Me=epic fail.
Some nice level design! (Fiendish, too). Would have been great with some music/sfx. Controls felt polished, very playable. Nice job!
The graphics are beautiful, and excellent concept, I love the way it gets easier until you can eventually win :-) Would have loved to hear some music and deeper SFX, shame you ran out of time - nice work though!
Great story and character, and the music was cool. The screwdrivers were a bit hard to pick up sometimes. Good level design! Would be nice to have a bit more variety in the obstacles/hazards. Good job!
Absolutely loved it, huge amount of content for 48hrs.. really playable and looks like you put a lot of thought into making it enjoyable for the player: ability to restart levels easily was a real bonus. Love the music. Some great mechanics (such as pushing rock into lava) which were intuitive without needing detailed instructions - one of the best I've seen in this compo - nice work!!
Definitely the smallest entry I've seen so far - 500 bytes!
Just needs a bit more gameplay. Nice job though.
Short but sweet! Nice concept, I felt sorry for the old boy when he was worried about jumping across the river.
Really cool idea! Very challenging, I haven't managed to get past cycle/collect level yet...
Literally crying with laughter while playing it. The idea of a meditation-themed button masher really got to me. Ended up bullied by an invincible deer and had to give up.
Jolly good show old chap!!
Nice original idea! Would be cool if the difficulty increased with each level, or you had to collect more blue blobs before exiting.
Beautiful concept and lovely music, very relaxing to play, I was worried it was going to get super-difficult at some point so was pleasantly surprised to find I'd completed it :-)
Lovely concept and relaxing to play! Here's my end result: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21611/ld26/misc/berkano-LINEMALISM.png
Very original!! Found it quite difficult. Funny rewards :-)
Hey, I wanted to hear the SFX and sympathised with the resource-hell you must have been through :-) Think I managed to fix it: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21611/ld26/misc/minimalism-fixed.zip
Works great on Windows here. Took a while to get the hang of it! Would be good if the blue square moved more slowly so we could understand what it's doing. Needs sound :-) Nice job!
Beautiful music and graphics. Very relaxing to play with!
Completely bonkers. Love it.
Nice job, it took me back to a simpler time and place. Would be nice to type things such as "W" instead of "GO WEST". Contained appropriate levels of potato.
Nice job! It took a moment to figure out what to kick and what to shoot :-) Good level of difficulty.
I'm having problems clicking on the Buy/Sell screen, and some of the buttons don't seem to work properly :-( Shame because I love space traders!! Bookmarking this in case you find a way to fix it!
Nice job! 922 metres was my record.
Really refreshing and unusual, loved it!
Really cool graphics and music, great fun!
Beautiful and completely twisted!
Really cool idea and feels really evil! I managed to flood the whole map but couldn't figure out if there was a way to win...
Neat! Only managed 142 points though!
Short and sweet, I enjoyed it!
Completely bonkers. Great fun!
Hilarious. Loved it!!
Lovely graphics and SFX, I won too! ...which probably means it's a bit easy ;-) Nice work.

Difficult, but in a good way! I love the minimalism of the colour and music. The graphics are really unique, too.
Love it! Great casual game, spot-on with the theme and very funny :-)
Beautiful music and relaxing feel (apart from when attacked by big blobs :-) ) Great work!!
Completely mad and fun!
Beautiful graphics and really enjoyable gameplay. I loved the music and the "submersion" effect really jumped out. Great work - will definitely be playing this for a while!!
Nice graphics, the characters were cool, it would be great with a bit of sound!
Great fun! Graphics are lovely, the controls have a really nice feel and the game was very polished for a 48hr compo! A bit of background music would have made it perfect.
Put something heavy on my spacebar -> went to do the washing up. Win!
Cool concept, and loved the mood & ambience (it thought to itself).
I think you distributed your Debug build instead of your Release build. I saw this with another entry and it created the same error in the Windows event log (missing Microsoft.VC90.DebugCRT). If u can upload Release build I reckon it will work with VC++ 2008 redist!
A lovely game, walking around in the environment was very relaxing especially after playing some of the more terrifying entries :-) The photo album concept is really well executed. Nice work!
Awesome concept! behaviours based on an evolutionary ASM-like codebase. The graphics are gorgeous... it would be great to see a first "person" perspective from one of the creatures/worms :-) Loving the ambient soundtrack too. Have been hoping to see some evolution sims, since I submitted one myself.
Working fine for me in Chrome! Love the ambient background loop, it really adds to the atmosphere.
Win! That was pretty fun, just the right difficulty balance for me. Great work fellow Slicker (btw - applet works fine in my Chrome, 64bit Win).
Nice! Loved the retro graphics, sfx and music. Needs more levels! (either that or I'm too dumb to get past the first screen)
Neat! The graphics had a nice feel, and the tutorial at the beginning made it easy to understand. Could have done with a bit of sound!
I'm no expert, but checking in the Windows event log, it looks like a Debug build meaning we would need Visual Studio installed instead of just the redistributable package (I already have VS2008 redistributable installed)
If you can check this and possibly provide a Release build I'm happy to re-test!

Good fun, slick graphics and I loved the music!
It took a few goes, but I managed to achieve all the goals!
How about this? http://i.imgur.com/Yq9Lk.png
Nice game, the one that kept me occupied the longest so far...
I like the way you get into a "flow" and don't need to worry too much about dying.. just keep trying again and again. Love how the little green bits of fluff(?) end up everywhere. Nice offbeat feel (music helps this as well)
Very immersive and innovative concept. I got stuck after about 5 screens, but will definitely be giving it another go! Great music and voiceovers
a bit confusing to start with, but soon figured it out! great music!
Wow, this is incredible for a 48hr entry! Quite tough as the AI is really fast. Would be good if there was an easy/medium/hard mode. But seriously great work!
Fun zapping the saucers and bouncing around!
Ah I remember playing the early version during the dare... Final game came together really well! Graphics are nice and tight. The traps are a bit punishing though, agree with the commenter below about controls being too sensitive. I only got to level 3...
Neat idea, but found it a bit frustrating! (but I'm a bit impatient)
I can't get past 1st screen!! Boom baby!

Really nice graphics, it was refreshing to see a game with isometric layout and you obviously put a lot of effort into the sprites. Had a great "evil SimCity" vibe to it 😄 I did find it a bit hard to understand what was going on, but got the general idea after a few minutes. Could be the basis of a nice Tower Defense/SimCity hybrid!

Rogue Basement by Steve Johnson 2017-05-02T19:17:48Z ♥ 1
Really cool entry. I have been wanting to do a rogue-like for a long time, so it was inspiring to play. It was also very interesting to read your design & implementation analysis doc. I wonder if the CSV approach could allow people to extend your game without writing code. The background music is GREAT! (composed in the wee hours - impressive) I am determined to beat this ... have picked it back up a couple times today 😄
Song of Fungus by DGSpitzer 2017-05-02T17:39:59Z ♥ 2
Absolutely stunning game in all aspects (visual, sound effects and background music). Gentle learning curve and then it gets challenging ... Addictive! Awesome work. By far the most impressive game I've seen so far in LD38. 🍄 🍄 🍄
The Taker by Epicsoft 2017-05-02T17:18:07Z ♥ 2

DIMPOCK by BearishMushroom 2017-05-02T16:04:57Z ♥ 1
Lovely lo-fi crackling graphics and SFX, the background music lends an ominous feel to the gameplay. Sooo hard!! The intro sequence when the level is being built is awesome. Nice job!

Beautifully simple with great level design. Gentle, relaxing gameplay, with gradually increasing challenge, left me wanting more. Imaginative take on the "Small World" theme. Nice work!
Food Fight by Scornz 2017-05-02T15:43:20Z ♥ 2
Brilliant fun, managed to get to #2 on the leaderboard 😄 (amazing how a simple thing like the leaderboard made me want to play more) Sushi on legs pushing packs of wagyu beef around so they can chase me is hilarious. Had a bit of a Micro Machines feel to it. Music was epic, I think more sound effects (and softer ones) would have rounded it off. Nice work!
Alienus-Alienas by Brainy_Beard 2017-05-02T11:55:39Z ♥ 0
Really liked the graphics and animations, it had a frantic feel to it. Would have been great to have some sound effects when repairing jumping etc. I couldn't quite figure out what caused the game to end, was it the rockets getting damaged or the player getting hit by bullets/missiles? Nice job!
World Collector by TomBishopSPG 2017-05-02T11:48:56Z ♥ 1
Great game, it offered the right amount of challenge each level without getting too overwhelming, by about the 5th level it got too hard for me though! Agree with others that the controls were a bit hard to get used to, probably because there were so many up/down/left/rights to keep track of while the ship was rotating around the planets. Still it had a lot of depth and playability! Music was cool too. Great job!
Interstellar Botanist by saiodin 2017-05-02T10:04:45Z ♥ 2
Wow, this is a seriously impressive entry. Very engaging and fun to play, would like to try this in VR! Voices are brilliant! I couldn't quite figure out why trading ships say they are coming, then after a while the timer increases and so it never gets to zero? Thought it might be triggered by some action I am taking, but couldn't make the connection...
Little Big Square by emanon 2017-05-02T07:34:24Z ♥ 1
Quite an original game with neat mechanics. Felt a little like crazy golf! I also got stuck on the one with the blue box that destroyed the ball...
An Ant World by wolar 2017-05-01T18:16:35Z ♥ 1
I love simulation type games so this was a real treat to play (reminded me a lot of SimAnt, obviously!) Before long I had foragers and soldiers all over the place. After the initial learning curve it wasn't too challenging. Maybe more enemy ants would have made it harder. Nice job!
Little Eco Planet by Wheerd 2017-05-01T18:00:06Z ♥ 1
Really neat little puzzler! Would make a great casual game for mobile. Agree with Goncalo that some sound would be nice. Great job!
LOST PLANET(oid) by mrnyarlathotep 2017-05-01T17:43:00Z ♥ 1
Lovely sprites and level design, the room names were a nice touch too, imaginative. The firing was a little awkward but got the hang of it after a while. Kept me entertained for 5 minutes!
Way Out by Mutfak Studios 2017-05-01T16:09:04Z ♥ 1
Nice game 😄 I got lost in the 2nd level and couldn't figure out where to go from there. Those rats are evil! It felt well balanced, being able to gain the hearts back. Would be nice to have some more variation in the backgrounds. The drip drip sound really added to the atmosphere. Nice job!

Inside Inc. by OWC 2017-05-01T12:07:42Z ♥ 2
Beautifully made game which was genuinely fun to play. Love the graphics, shake effects, monster design and level design. Controls were fluid and intuitive. The pathfinding by the enemies was a little limited so after a while I found myself using that to my advantage to kill them, it felt less hectic after that. But those darn green spiky blobs that split down into smaller ones are impossible!! Managed to get through about 5-6 screens but kept getting stuck at one point, it felt too hard. Awesome job!

This was cool to play. Got a bit frustrated half way through as couldn't figure out what to do with the blue thing made out of gems, but got there in the end!! (took about 10 mins to complete) Neat mechanics too.
