Couldn't agree more!
That was fun but, is just me or the dialogs were just getting in the way? I couldn't see anything underneath it!
That nails it.
I like the style, and with slightly better controls and I would have spent an hour on it!
I like the graphics and the idea.
That's a fast paced game! Makes it hard.
Thanks for all your comments!
Still deciding if I should keep working on it or move on. Balancing this seems like it will be real tough...
It's (supposed to be) about how you organize your defense, and how you will adapt it to the enemies strengths.
In this respect, I think that having a limited amount of resources (the towers) puts the focus on how the player sets up its defenses, rather than how he will upgrade it.
That's also why destroying towers does not penalize the player.
Regarding this, I tried with 5, and it was way too easy to kill everything. So I went with 3. I could have put 4. I guess it should be part of the level-design.
Great!
I loved it!
Balancing between eating to get big, and being eaten to avoid being too big is nice.
Thanks for your comments!
I have had quite a nightmare understanding how the collision engine of Crafty works, so there are still issues here.
Specifically, you will be able to step completely off the platform before you fall.
That's the trick for the last pit; you have to jump at the very last moment, and do the "double-jump" near at the highest point, and you will be able to grab on the opposite ledge.
Nicely executed, the pressure builds up and adds to the decision process.
Thanks for your remarks, I appreciate :)
I wish I had had more time to work on the UI, to understanding the game better and also to get rid of all those useless clicks...
As usual, it is very hard to balance the different aspects of the game on top of making it. I will have to work on it...
I think it's great.
I felt it was challenging to try to go fast while still keeping control.
Simple but effective.
Very nice, sound and visuals are great, and *minimal* ;)
It took me a while to see that I could bounce of walls, I was just avoiding the at first. All the better.
Also, it takes a long time before reaching something a bit challenging, then becomes quite hard suddenly. That's my only remark, so well done!
This is a good laugh actually, with a very unexpected weapon.
I "drowned" because of it the first time.
I really liked the effect of gravity, although controls would improve by not requiring to hit space.
Thank you for this game!
At the Grok's Helm, the patrons usually get very rowdy, so we try to get them drunk before they do some damage. More beer is the best weapon against bad drunk Orks!
Excellent.
The effect is really great and I had to look for those cubes. The use of colors was attractive to me
Thanks for this great game
I like the idea, and the music.
The gameplay is difficult, as I can't tell if I'm actually shooting, or where the ennemies are shooting.
Nice game.
The controls are surprising but have a lot of character. It's actual fun jumping and floating around.
I also liked the music.
Nicely executed.
I foolishly tried to accelerate the trees so that they died, but they did not want to.
The difficulty is good, I did die a few times, but thanks to your checkpoints, that was not frustrating.
Good job!
Nice! Graphics and audio are great.
I tried quite a bit but the game is frustratingly hard.
I couldn't manage the first cave :(
Thanks!
Nice idea, and fun to use those weapons.
It was unbearably hard with azerty keyboard though...
This is greatly executed, however it was next to impossible to get used to the controls.
That may be only me, but having green assigned to 2 fingers on each hand, my brain couldn't match up the colors and the finger. Relying only on the position made it harder.
And also, this is great music :)
Excellent!
Audio and storyline work very well together. The learning curve is also great.
I think the controls could be more friendly; I found it hard to synchronize movement+jump with a single hand.
It's fun!
I had to play until I won, so it's a successful game.
The gameplay is good and the end keeps you on your toes.
Good job!
I found it really cool.
Really liked the models and black&white.
More challenging asteroids fields would have been even better.
Outstanding work.
Everything gets together to make one of the best experience of this LD : graphics, music, gameplay.
The use of the theme is immersive and very clever.
Excellent take on the theme.
I really liked the first play through, discovering what was happening a little bit at a time. Very nice work.
Very enjoyable.
I like the graphics with a nice choice of colors, the music with the effort behind it and the original idea.
I found the gameplay a bit slow; with the police moving on their own, smoother controls would help playing cat and mouse.
Great work!
