Fun game, it's a shame its so tiny. You should have done more levels :(
Also, i liked the music.

Fun game, it's a shame its so tiny. You should have done more levels :(
Also, i liked the music.
Bonus1: towlr, anyone? Just missed the "+".
Bonus2: MiniLD#34...
Now, to the game. The controls are really messy and there aren't clues about what to do. Besides that, the compo competition is unbeatable, as you said :/
Pretty Graphics & Sound, they made up to a great "mood". The game itself isn't that much fun (well, at least for me), but besides that it is quite good :)
Good concept, but the god feedback is to tiny (no pun), and there's not much point to do the things.
Fun game, but the interpretation was a bit overused (I used it too :/). Plus, the graphics/audio went really well together.
You got all my fives dude. Give me 'em back, I need to rate other games!
Great Game! RTS finnaly!
The game seemed a lot like professional work. The bad thing, though, is that a single missclick (which happens really often, as the controls are really sensitive) will ruin the entire stage. You would just need to fix that simple problem to start thinking about porting it to mobile, imo :)
Well, the beginning i thought that the game would be fun. It turned out that it just is too slow. Besides that, it WAS fun.
I had the inverse problem in my entry: the game was too fast. But remember, making a game in 24h is no easy task!
I think it is a really cool simple game. The concept was awesome, it was moderately difficult (not so hard though), it fits well the theme and i kinda like the music :). Good game!
It is not really a game. But I kinda like it, so (Iwas generous) here you go, my fart!
Just thought another thing: Nice to know from where people in LD's come! Gotta give you one more star for this xD
Amazing one, really funny, and, despite short, fun. The only problem I found is that it is more a "story book" than a proper game. Anyway, good job!
The game is quite strange, and the camera seemed a bit unreliable. Don't know if I got it right or what.
Hehe, this was my first LD too. As simple as it is, it's still a game, part of the 1K plus made in just a weekend. Remember that you already won just by making a game. Think about those who will never make one. Nice job dude :)
No iOS avaiable, sorry mate!
Good game, really innovative and fun. And I loved the music, haha.
I don't have a Mac, so no deal. Next time try and make it to Windows or Web, and hopefully finish it! See ya.
Amazing game, my best rated so far. I suggest you trying to port it for some mobile, because it is REALLY good :)
This game is really robust. Lots of levels and two game modes. Even though it has a tutorial screen, I think it lacks a good tutorial (or, at least, I was confused with the game.) The atom puzzle was a bit overused in this ludum dare (I did something on those lines, too!), but this one might be one of the best. Now, on a personal note, I didn't quite enjoy the game per se.
Altough I was really looking forward to this one, I won't be able to judge it because all the graphics of the games are just white (which is obviously a bug), and the intro is just a couple of white boxes. Damn, it was looking great!
It would be better if you provided a runnable file. It would be best if it were web game.
No android/iPhone, sorry :/
I could use a emulator, I guess, but it wouldn't be any fun.
Great Art and Audio, but i didn't like the premise of the game.
Good game, a little bit hard though. I really liked the graphics of it xD
Not able to play, in ff the website says "press space to play", but when I press space it scrolls down
Awesome game! I think the thing I liked the most was the nice merge between the sound and the game, but the whole game is quite good :)
I'm sorry bro, couldn't play it, altough I was willing to. In IE9 it didn't even open, and in ff it asked for my name, but i couldn't write anything...I don't know if I missed something, or it is just a bug.
The Game didn't open properly on my PC. Windows, JDK7 (and JRE7) installed.
The game seems to be fun, but I won't create a account to play it. Good luck shipping it though, your choice was (probably?) the best :)
One of the funniest (fun) and funniest (humor) games i played so far. Good references, too. I kinda like text adventures (remembers me of pnp rpgs), but they don't have rates on either graphics or audio. And i didn't get the link with the theme (altough i haven't got all the endings). Overall, quite good :)
I think the controls were the highligth of the game, very nice! Also, bonus for the Pluto moon!
A cool little game, but the controls are kinda hard to use.
Good game, liked the "tale" aspect of it. It's a shame it only has some levels :/
Sorry man, even the fixed version was really buggy. I tried three different browsers, but it didn't help. In IE, the box was inside the planet on level 2, and on the others I couldnt move on the second level. =/
It took me a while to understand what I was supposed to do.
In all honesty, I liked it. Just felt that I needed some kind of upgrade :(
The game is hard, but is one of the bests I've rated so far.
The game felt like it was lagging. Couldn't finish it because of that.
creepy. The music, the character, the intro... and hard to move around. But great, regardless. The world is getting quite cool already.
Yeah, timing is an issue if you want a puzzle game. Personally, I didn't quite like the sound effects, but that might just be me.
Nice concept, but I think that I ran out of things to do rather fast. Nice music, btw.
Great intro, great humor, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.
Really nice. Hope to see your "The Journey of Eko" debut :), you guys are amazing.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to fix that, so, if I find the reason why it's not opening, I may make a "Do no rate" version or something.
The second level IS a sideway version of the first one, but the fact that the player is gone, and the other errors are too bad. Should had trying building something with slick *before* the compo starts! Anyway, thank you for trying.
I actually spent a huge deal amount of time on the controls, I wanted the "slippery" effect (actually, thats inertia + grip). But I guess not everyone like that, unfortunately.
emveyh: About the game breaking bug: you can actually jump on lava, if you are immune to it.
At the fourth level? I just did that jump, thats weird
Uploaded standalone versions (they are only ports, so they are allowed). Let me know if any of those won't work :)
It was too hard to jump. Besides that, I found the music to be quite annoying (don't know if it was intetional though). COuldn't see how this relate to evolution, but this is maybe because I didn't play it enoguh.
Unfortunately I had fps issues (running behind 10 fps, propably at 5 or so). The idea seemed cool, but I won't rate it because I coudln't really play it. (I even decreased the quality...)
It is a bit to short and not intuitive. Besides that, it is a good concept.
Simple, well polished up and a good optimization exercise! Awesome!
I liked the game, and LOVED the art (even it being so simple).
The idea is pretty good, and I had fun, but the game seemd a little "raw", you know?
I loved it! it would be awesome to have more choices of upgrades, etc. But we know we've got just so much time, right?
The audio is a bit annoying, and the lack of information on screen got frustrating :(
The history and finale was amazing. The controls were hard, because we needed to move the mouse the opposite way we wanted to move.
You would have got a really nice rating from me...but then I got stuck on a bug. At the first save point (maybe the second, before the legs) a dude just camped my respawn. He is just dancing (moving from one side to the other very quickly) and I respawn exploding every time. Sorry :(
Overall the game is fun, comic and innovative. But I struggled at level 14:
-The button don't always work and;
-The time is too short to open the button and get into the door.
I tried other things too, but nothing worked. I even tried to look at the source code, but I neither know actionscript nor italian, so I got frustrated there...If there is something I'm missing, please message me (if it should be kept secret) or post here, because I want to see the ending :)
level 7, 302 score. Didn't really understand what the power ups did, and it is kinda repetitive, but I liked it.
Aweosome! How was it made? (It just lacks audio and more levels :))
Feels very complete and polished. The music, graphics, interface and concept fit really well together. For me, it just lacks interactivity. Well done!
Best.
Couldn't get it's point. Sorry bud.
The game and concept are great, but the battles are really boring, and the timer makes no sense since is almost impossible to beat a dude with 8hp at level 4, when you deal 1 dmg at time.
Graphics are nice, and the game is playable, but I think it was too simple, and didn't fit the theme well enough.
Best so far. By the way, where are you guys from?
You just made my game, but better :(
Well done!
Really polished game. You're gonna get straight fives out of some people that were on IRC.
I don't like that type of musics - but it went along so well that I didn't bothered.
The controls/physics were kinda messed up (IMO), but quite good anyway.
I don't know how I can describe this.
Yea, the game looked and sounded really nice, although there wasn't much changing from generation to generation. :)
Besides the music that was annoying, and the lack of "Santos Dummont" reference in it everything was rather good. You even got bonus points on mood, because I remembered a game I used to play on the SNES :D
Coudln't really get the point.
Man, your game is hard! But is fun to play anyway, and really polished.
Very fun game, the music is pretty neat too. But, as the number of entities (gameobjects, call them whatever you want) grows, the game gets laggy. And, btw, thank you for the tip with slick.
Well done. Everything fit together really well, the game is very fun and very polished up.
Well, that was pretty fun. The game is looking professional. Good luck on iMobile!
The game is really buggy when changing maps, and the controls (arrows + mouse) weren't enjoyable (I would prefer wasd and mouse). But I liked it a lot. The game is big, something that is missing in LD games, IMHO. I couldn't finish it though...I somehow took damage, but I never visually touched any of the white globes :(
simple and addictive. Altough I don't think that evolving helped me. loved it.
Awesome, but a bit too hard. (But still awesome)
Loved when the drone died. Unfortunately there was a place where I simply couldn't progress, because the spikes would always kill me.
I liked it a lot, really genius. My only complaints are: no music and it is more like an interactive movie than a game. Still, awesome!
The web page won't load. Sad, I really thought this one looked fun!
Very good one. You made a really simple concept shine. (But you could have added a progress bar)
Couldn't play it on chrome. First it loaded but the game screen was white with some arrows flying. Then I refreshed and Chrome couldn't find the page. Too bad, it seemed like a good one :(
I loved the presentation and the concept. The only problem here is that there was nothing stopping me from spamming the button to generate more goats and the slaughtering everything right away.
Good game overall, could have been better if the screen was resizable. Because it wasn't, I couldn't see the icons on the bottom.
This game is really neat and has a good premise, but the controls are just unreliable.
Nice!
I don't think I got the point of it...
Sorry, I took two classNotFoundExceptions to the knee :(
Seemed fun though!
The game is too hard, and could use some polishing. It takes to long to fall and the font is really hard to read.
This game is cool, but gets boring quick.
The game is really good and fun. But that AI man, it is just sick. Couldn't go past second level :/. Good work anyway!
I can't get past the first level, it just isn't clear what I should be doing.
For me the game just felt like there was a lack of feedback. Besides that, little glitch: if you lose the game once, you need to close and open the jar to try again
This one is plain awesome. You should consider porting it to iOS and Android because it is innovative AND fun. Didn't see the goat though :(
The game is confusing and slow, but it had a nice touch.
The games looks really nice and stuff, but I couldn't understand what to do to make the red thingy go bigger. And also the controls were a little hard, it would've been nicer if you could control the camera using the mouse.
Impossible to win! I've had about a million bucks and still couldn't click as fast as they destroyed my hotels :( But nice game though, and loved the music.
Good game, but it is too hard to satisfy the queen. I just skipped the level when I felt like it.
Game looked and sounded great, but it could have a better gameplay IMO.
Same concept as mine: inverted classic arcade game. Your game, though, was more balanced than mine for sure. The only thing that annoyed me was the slippery movement.
Cool, while it lasted. :)
Nice, altough a bunch hard to play.
The web version of the game won't load (or would do so really slowly) on chrome, windows 7, 64-bit.
NOW I was able to load! It has a really good mood and can even feel scary. The Audio Diaries remembered me from Bioshock, which is good. I have some criticism though: The game is short, the controls are terrible (I know you made it to save time, but still...), the flashlight is really buggy (not only it doesn't work in the sewer, but as I saw my spaceship go to the sun, the light was still there!) and I don't really get the storyline too well (partly because English is not my first language). Anyway, props to you, very good entry!
I liked, but the game ended abruptly for me and when I restarted I already had lots of cash but no cities. Really strange :(
Good game, just a bit slow. The lack of background music was bad too. But still, very fun!
Weird and short but hey, at least you've got yourself a game (and a goat!)
The fun comes from it's simplicity. Nice work!
I'm not sure if I'm the villanous villain or the heroic villain or even the villanous hero D:
Good game, needed a proper end though.
Really good game, but it eas really annoying that if you put the brick outside that space, it would just be gone. :(
A cool concept, but I miss save points :(
(Btw, I don't think you can, because is not a game-breaking bug :( )
