Unfortunatly I dont understand how to pass the first level. But well done for "you know what"

mayto 2012-08-28 02:05

That was definitely AWESOME. And I really don't write in all caps often!

benw 2012-08-28 03:31

This game was incredibly well made and I love how it forces you to think outside the box. I just wish it made more use of the last two modes.

savethejets1 2012-08-28 04:09

Awesome!
I had an idea along these lines, but you pulled it off WAY better. Great work!

captainkraft 2012-08-28 04:10

I really love the feel of the game and I think you did some great stuff. It's awesome... but how do I get out of the first area?

jwin 2012-08-28 04:34

Great atmosphere and cool mechanics, even though I didn't find the way out.

conflictivelabs 2012-08-28 13:29

Hi everyone! thanks for the comments. I don't want to spoil the game giving away the solution, because this is "mainly" a puzzle game. But what i can tell you is that the game only has one level, and the main objective is to find the way out. As a hint, you need to find the three ghosts...
Maybe we will prepare a walkthrough and post it :)

raoz 2012-08-28 14:43

Made it :) Very cool and interesting.

cappagames 2012-08-29 00:22

Awesome game. Love the unique gameplay.

shmarah 2012-08-29 01:34

At first I was like, "Oh this is a simple game it's probably boring"
And then I was like "Oh this isn't so simple"
And then I was like "Wow this concept is brilliant"
GJ!

rhysvdw 2012-08-29 01:56

That was great. the pixel art was fantastic, and I loved the rogue and text adventure references. However, it was very frustrating that very few commands were recognized in the text adventure mode. I didn't manage to escape, I spoke to the first two ghosts but couldn't work out how to say the password or get to the third ghost.

tastelessnudes 2012-08-29 02:16

one of my favorites so far. amazing work!

pjchardt 2012-08-29 02:30

Fantastic. Don't know what else to say. Just fantastic.

tkatchenko 2012-08-29 04:39

Great game! The password bit was difficult because thought the only valid commands were the ones on the help screen. Also, first time I got through the door it crashed with this error:

Monkey Runtime Error : TypeError: Error #1009

Again, awesome game.

conflictivelabs 2012-08-29 07:10

Oh, DAT bug. We ran into it once. Were unable to replicate it. Well, we will try to get that sorted out in a post-jam version. Thanks everyone for your feedback. Glad you enjoy the game.

rwos 2012-08-29 19:05

Ah, got to the end. :-)

Great work! I also tried to do that game-evolution stuff, but you did it much better than me, incorporating it into the game-play. Really clever, and well done and all. My favourite so far!

fififox 2012-08-29 19:15

It's a brilliant idea to mix genres like that. I didn't like the graphics a lot, but the music was good and has a mood related to the game! The gameplay fits the theme perfectly anyway, so good job there!

nseward 2012-08-29 19:45

OMG! The different levels of sanity are awesome. I like how you have to be insane to do part of the challenge.

thegamemaker 2012-08-29 21:52

Fantastic graphics and art!

krides 2012-08-30 01:57

Perfect! Another awesome IF to add to my collection :-)

conflictivelabs 2012-08-30 03:42

Did you know that you can talk to the developers? Their names are in the credits room...
Also, there are some very interesting commands, like pay, swag and never :3

puzzlem00n 2012-08-30 19:50

Freaky. The text adventure part really made me feel insane. I love feeling insane! hahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH i'm not mad... don't you see it... LOOKAT IT!

capgrip 2012-09-01 01:43

Awesome game!

murrayl 2012-09-02 15:59

Amazingly cool idea. As others have said, I do wish there was more of a use for the NES/SNES-like modes, and more interactions possible in the text-mode, but I can understand how time pressures will have restricted what was done here!

echa 2012-09-03 07:56

Very intresting insanity )

dogtopus 2012-09-03 12:52

This was brilliant, thank you. :D I got most of it until actually putting in the password, and..then I used the walkthrough, and felt stupid. Haha! Well done! :D

brotherst 2012-09-03 12:54

This is amazing.

raptor85 2012-09-06 03:19

I love it, the commands are a little weird in the text part though in that some use noun/verb some don't, like for doctors you have to "talk" to them but to move it doesnt understand "go west" so half the games feedback to me was "i don't understand ...". I found the key to exit really quickly but again like most people had trouble actually using that information again due to the fact that the game does not like it when you prefix a command like you normally would in such games.

Also, very clever how the "most sane" mode gives you a hint as to where to go, the mode just below that didnt seem to have much use though.

marudziik 2012-09-06 14:20

Wow. Amazing. I managed to get all the way to the ending without the walkthrough, only to not use the 'recall' command (also, more intuitive for me would be to 'say' something at the end). I could get to it with some more hints. Anyway, it was so much fun, and a brilliant puzzle! Great game!

felipetavares 2012-09-10 13:39

REALLY SUPER GREAT AWESOME WORK! Best game than I played until now! Good music too! In one word: BRILLIANT!

meteorologicalman 2012-09-10 16:05

Very cool. I never figured out how to reach the third ghost, but I was able to guess the last part of the password. I loved the concept. It would be great to see a more complex expansion on it.

ae12687 2012-09-10 16:18

Great!
Took me some time to find the third ghost,
but i like the artstyle and music.
I didn't really need to use the middle two
mental states though.

reismann 2012-09-10 23:12

Very cool having to travel through the different levels of sanity to escape. I'd really like to see an updated version where you eventually have 3D graphics levels of sanity that let you see even more things!

kevinworkman 2012-09-11 02:09

I love the concept here, but I had to use the walkthrough to figure out what I was supposed to be doing. Great job, I'd love to see this expanded even further- maybe you can get saner and more 3d?

pierrec 2012-09-11 11:28

Just played the game, got bored because it was a text adventure, read the awesome comments, tryed again. AND WOW! Nobody should ever give up on a game after 5 seconds playing...EVER!

screamrawr 2012-09-12 00:43

Fantastic game. One of the best that I've played. Brilliant.

kibertoad 2012-09-12 17:14

"Evolution" part felt reeeeally squeezed in. Game itself, however, was a true marvel to play. Two thumbs up!

datw 2012-09-13 00:50

Best so far. By the way, where are you guys from?

conflictivelabs 2012-09-13 02:05

Thanks for all your feedback :), Also, thanks for the awesome comments that actually made a dude give our game a second chance ;)

Datw btw, we are from Chile.

matheod 2012-09-16 00:09

it was... something

No seriously, awesome concept, but to short :-( !

goerp 2012-09-16 20:14

DOH! It looks so interesting, but I don't have the time to really get into it. I'll come back to it.

azurenimbus 2012-09-16 20:40

One of the best I've played so far. Really cool entry!

plule 2012-09-17 17:23

Wowowowow. Awesome idea, well executed, with good music.

garethjenkins 2012-09-17 21:13

Awesome stuff. First 5-star innovation rating.
