Dude, getting an error, man.
The camera and controls made me feel dizzy, but in a good way :-) Also, welcome to the community, it doesn't get better than Unity3D ;-)
What a delightful little massacre game :-)
Pretty neat, but I have one suggestion: move this game to Unity, it will be much easier to complete it there. Really. Otherwise, yeah, keep going :-)
@juaxix Dude, Unity is free...
Really nice. Also it's funny how your game is everything mine's not. It looks like it could use some polish, but you have plenty of levels with real progression and explore the mechanic pretty deeply, while mine looks more or less polished, but doesn't have enough content in it. Well, that's what you get in 48 hours, I guess. Anyway, nice entry!
Nice litte platformer, a bit too hard, yeah, and special thanks for the mute button :-) Needs some introductory levels perhaps.
A really neat meachanic, totally love it, but the game is nightmarishly hard!
I like it. It's clearly unfinished, but you should totally continue working on it!
I've spent 30 minutes playing it and I have no idea why. I basically drowned in it. Great interactive art piece. Well done.
Awesome, I love the "leave me the fuck alone" mechanics :D
My reaction: "hmm, okay, this looks pretty bori...wait, I can move the floor. up and down, up and down. oh I made wind? what do you mean..? whoa, grass appeared...let me see if I can grow a tree here and then just close and rate the fucker...planting trees, planting trees, nyanyanya, OH PISSING BLIMEY AN HOUR HAS PASSED!!!"
Dude, this is brilliant. You win the internets with this game. Cheers. 5/5 for everything.
I didn't understand all the mechanics, but overall it was pretty fun :-)
Brilliant game, I think I've just had my first math orgasm :-)
I like the core mechanic. What you should do is lose the run button (let the ape do the running) and release it on iOS.
I agree with Zed, basically :-)
One of the best games I've played so far! And I've played a lot :-)
I liked it! To me it seemed a lot like a horror game of some sort. I was generally scared at some point. Perhaps the sheer numbers of enemies might have something to do with it. Anyway, great job.
Pretty nice platformer, fun, great esthetics, nice idea. Controls felt a bit imprecise, however.
Okay, dude, okay, I may have not been programming for 27 years, but neither am I a 14-year-old kid. I'm the guy who has wanted to make games his whole life. I actually started developing games while at school. I think I was 12 or something when I made my first game. Does that sound familiar to you? Oh and I hated my parents. Boy, I despised them. I have graduated from a university this year, and I'm going to France to study game design in october, because I think that this is actually good for me, even though when I was your age, I had exactly the same shit in my head. And I do remember it very clearly, and I totally get where this is coming from.
Now, here's the thing: you can't just say that something is good or bad for you until you actually try it yourself. Forget gamasutra, forget shit game developers say. Turn on your brain, you should be able to do this if you want to be a game developer.
Here's how I see it, and you might think that this is all bullshit, but just read it, alright? And think about it. Game development is an insanely complicated business to be in. You have to know all kinds of shit. Your work is never repetitive, you do all sorts of creative stuff. You have to be both artistic and technical if you want to be a good game developer, whatever you do in the business. Yes, it is a dream job. Yes, it is probably the most rewarding job a human being is entitled to get. But guess what, you have to be experienced, you have to know all sorts of shit to do this. You cannot just focus on games. Go ahead and ask someone big, someone like Peter Molyneux (I'm sure you've heard of the dude) or Notch, for that matter, you go ask them where they draw inspiration for their games. Do you think game dev is only about games? It is the most meta media that exists. Anything you do in life you can apply to game development if you're smart enough, and I sure hope you are smart, because if you're not, no amount of practice will ever help you, so you better be or get. My point is, everything you will learn in college is an experience, and without that you can't make shit. It will also probably give you some perspective. True, it doesn't make a hell lot of difference what you get your degree in as long as you keep working on your gamedev after school. And yes, game dev is a full time occupation, so you _will_ have to work after school.
Please, just cut the crap with "give up on my dream." You will have free time in college. You will also learn new shit even if you don't exactly study there, and that will be good for you, trust me. Like I said, I went through this whole routine myself only recently and I know what I'm talking about.
And it's okay to be angry at your parents, just as long as you don't lose perspective and see that they actually give a shit about you. They just fucking do. You will learn that this is actually a very rare commodity in life to have people actually give a shit.
Please, don't reply to me. I'm not going to check this page again in my life. Just think about it. Think carefully. That's all I ask.
For some reason I thought "Thomas was Alone meets Osmos," even though that's not exactly true. The concept is indeed very neat, would be nice to see some development on that, preferably on mobile devices. Also, I liked the symmetry of it, sort of reminiscent of some Arcanoid experience from back in the day. Really didn't expect this game to be this fun, and yet it is.
Not bad, actually, although something was wrong with my mouse controls. Can be really fun!
omg what is going on in this game I don't even—
Wow, that was quick. Guess that is what people feel while playing my game :D Really, looking forward to seeing more of it, and good luck!
i really like the underlying message :-)
Neither original nor bug fix worked for me :-(
Really neat take on tamagochi :-) When the dog grew old, I kept expecting it to drop dead, but eventually ran out of patience :-) Nice game though!
This really needs an export option. It would really make a neat tool! Great work.
I like how sokoban-style it is, but it is also super-hard, and perhaps needs some verbal explanation before you throw the player into the pit, because I really stressed out a lot when the timer ran out an I couldn't figure out how the black thingy works. That said, the fact that I did care so much means that the game is engaging, so kudos. Always glad to see puzzle games.
Great little game, sort of lacks content like mine, but this only means that we should keep working :-) The world doesn't end with Ludum Dare. It doesn't, RIGHT?!
This was really cool. I enjoyed every second of it. Got some really promising ideas there! I also like the way you manipulate localScales to make it seem like your cube is "drinking" the other ones, really nice touch. Good job!
Neat! I'm a big fan of indirect control games. Needs animations and sound (something akin Journey, pehaps?) and it will be perfect. Also, rocks were pretty ironic :D
It was pretty fun, but I can't say I fully understood the fight mechanic and what tagging has anything to do with it, but what the hell :-)
Cool stuff! I totally dig how frantic the whole experience is :-) AI is a bit too hard to keep up with + the game could use a multiplayer mode—that would be the only two suggestions from me :-)
Really fun little Crimsonland :-)
I totally love what people can make with such a simple space shooter. Really fun to play! Well done. You should check out your sister game: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-24/?action=preview&uid=4687 :-)
Really neat little game!
I second the comment by mdkess. It really looks like something that could develop into an excellent game.
I liked the game, although I think that it is either too hard or too random :-) Also, props for the Mac-exclusive version, I've never seen one before :-)
Top Fun and Innovation scores from me! :-)
This is a brilliant piece of writing. I even had to get all of the endings, which never happened to me before :-) You're really good at this and you should continue writing.
Perfect! Another awesome IF to add to my collection :-)
Really slick roguelike with art style reminiscent of Binding of Isaac.
Man, I'm such a sucker for simulations like this one. I just love indirect control.
This is the most ridiculously obnoxious games I've played in my life. Good job, man. Completed it. 5 stars for everything :-)
This is a love child of Yeti Sports and Angry Birds and thus belongs on mobile. But it was pretty fun. You just need to polish it properly.
I found it rather mind-boggling, in a good way. I was struggling to meaningfully press the right and left flip buttons, but found myself at a loss. I think this experience can be explored. It's sort of a mind/body control yoga or zen thing. Requires a lot of balancing, obviously, but I do like how weird it felt.
Always fun to see a good simulation, and graphics are also pretty slick, considering the time constraint. Spore-ish :-)
Very very neat, and minimalistic esthetics are marvelous.
Really neat concept of indirect control. Love it.
Looks neat! I love the art style and the way those guys want to get bitches :D
Great game! Although that eating sound made me poo my pants, and I think you might want to make the collider on the head a little bigger, because aiming is quite frankly frustrating right now.
Really neat game, mostly because of the narrative. It's really good fun though, and I like how it shows how story can drive the game as opposed to the other way around. Good one.
Coudn't immediately figure out what caused changes in generation or what I was supposed to do with seemingly dead dudes, but I like the controls, and graphics look nice and polished.
Great! And also very glad to see graphic novellas in LD! Keep it up!
I like how the atmosphere of this is game reminiscent of Aquaria for obvious reasons, while mechanics have basically nothing to do with it :-)
That's pretty fun, but for the love of god, why so small? I couldn't read the text, I had to squint!
Very nice. I have found that square kittens with 1 limb survive the best. Now let's apply that to real life.
*here, kitty kitty kitty*
That is genuinely good and innovative! Good job!
I can't say I understood much of it, but it was really fun in a weird unreasonable sort of way :'D
Can't open it in Chrome :-(
Looks like a solid almost complete game, which is pretty cool for a compo entry (have only played that) :-)
The first fighting game I see here. Very good! Esthetics are nifty too!
This is the first RTS I'm seeing in this compo, and it's a pretty good one. At first I didn't quite understand the controls, but I got it soon enough :-)
Really like the evolving part :-)
Yup, doesn't load for me :-(
Web version wouldn't load. Just sayin'.
I wanted to ask what the jumping four-legged green thing was supposed to be, but I guess I don't really want to know :D
Really neat take on the whole mass-consuming idea. Unfortunately, there is a stack overflow thing going on, so you can't play it for too long, but I'd really love to see a development of this concept.
I like the red fish with glowing eyes, really scary shit :D
Hahahaha, this game has to be in an art gallery somewhere :D
Amazing graphic and sound design, almost realistic evolution simulation. Very well done :-)
Nothing worked, couldn't run on my Mac :-(
I will! I will add the cave level for LD72, I think (given that I still have some life in me come morning). Thank you for checking it out!
Thanks mate :-) Adding more content for the jam as wee speak!
Thanks for checking out, and really glad you liked it! I did everything I could in 48 hours, working on level two for the Jam.
I actually worked for full 44 hours of those 48, so I did everything I could :-) But don't you worry, there will be moar!
Yeah, I'm thinking about making the first tip more clear. Most people figure it out after a couple of deaths though. Like you did, for instance :-)
Thank you for your kind words :-) I am working on a post-compo version, you can the progress so far right here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/9956376/Dissolution_Web/Dissolution_Web.html
And I'll go make pasta now :P
Thanks :-)
Yeah, I'm going to expand it later :-) It's short because I wanted to make it polished to create the mood. Thank you for playing!
Thank you for playing, y'll. I _will_ continue working on this game. I can assure you, and my jam entry is evidence to that :-)
@sev_inf @codesavage Thank you guys :-)
@Cake&Code Thank you too :-) The Compo version has a bug where you get filled up with color during cutscenes, which wasn't meant to be and got fixed the next day ;-)
I'll play more games and then continue working on this one :-)
@sampyxis Glad you liked it! Is it safe to assume that you have evolved? :-)
Click what?
@Yakka Sorry, I did the best I could >_< This mechanic doesn't exactly take an hour to implement, so I had to make some choices as to what should be in priority: a short chunk of gameplay that plays nicely or a bigger one that feels "prototypey." I am working on it, though, so, hopefully, you will hear more from me ;-)
@eyehawk Thanks! Yeah, the compo version ends at the cave, the jam version end in the cave.
Okay, I get it, "click" is not a synonym of "press." I meant press, I'm sorry, okay? :-)
The reason I wrote "click" is that it was 5 o'clock in the morning and I'd been working on this game for about 35 hours non-stop. I'll fix that, obviously. And you are supposed to press down like on an icon above the thing, so it's not really that unobvious :-) And yeah, cave's it for now.
@cadin yeah, you won :-)
You should expect this game to eventually grow big, epic and full. Just stay tuned and thank you all for playing!
Okay guys, has anyone here seen Indie Game the Movie? Well, if you did, you'll get the referece: I'm kind of beginning to feel like Phil Fish here, except I didn't win IGF and get a grant from Canadian government, and haven't been working on this game for 4 years :-)
Anyway, thanks a lot for playing!
@Mach60KAS You've got it all wrong! It's not "if," "could" and "had," it's "when," "can" and "will have" ;-) Thank you for playing, anyhow, glad you like the Dude :-)
Thank you guys! Yeah, jumping was implemented fast and without giving it much thought, frankly. Will be fixed, thanks for feedback!
Thank you for playing, everyone! I'm seeing some really great suggestions for the game, and I will make sure to make the appropriate changes to Dissolution in future. I think I'm going to extend my jamming to one month and see if I can come up with a fully playable demo for IGF in time for submission.
@Evil Cult Yep, that's a bug that has already been fixed post-compo. Sorry about that.
Thank you for playing, guys, and thank you for the feedback, I'm taking it all into consideration as I'm working on the next version of the game.
Hahahahaha :D
It's a neat concept, and I'm assuming you used Processing for it? http://processing.org/learning/topics/tree.html
Not a big fan of your collision detection and controls, but otherwise really pleased by this Spectrum imitation. Good job.
This one feels really solid. To those wondering about the Web version, just remove the "s" from "https." That's a Dropbox-induced bug.
Nice! A 3D infiltration game in Java. Really like the concept.
Hardcore \o/
Every time I want to try out a new engine or tool, I start by making a variation of Pong in it. This one looks like one of those games, and I have to say, I haven't come up with it, great idea.
Muahahahaha
This is a true NES-style hardcore game, congrats!
The art style is perfect <3
Doesn't run for me, says that I don't have Flash installed even though I do.
Absolutely brilliant! Made me think about the use of abstraction in games in general. Great job :-)
This is hilarious, it almost made me poo my pants. Great job, this theme was asking for a game like this.
I assumed that the gatekeeper is hidden, so jumped off the terrain and kept falling until my character died of old age :-) Then I restarted and figured out what I'm actually supposed to do, and the game turned out to be pretty fun :-) Also, I think that the better way to do dialogs is via GUI, they are just billboarded properly.. See my game's source for it. Cheers ;-)
I like the idea of tricking a hero into destroying the town, it has something to it. Also, I like your stick figure animations :-)
I like the premise, and the system is complicated enough to scare some players away, but I really like it a lot. Perhaps with some more feedback it would work even better.
It runs, but I can't seem to control the goat. What am I missing here?
Hahahahaa, okay, got it, it's a pretty neat annoying physics game, good job :-)
Nice minimalist graphics and sounds. Probably needs a short text-based tutorial, but I think that I get it :-)
Congrats on this one, Chris. Really good ambience. The whole thing reminded me of "Stranger" by Camus.
The art is really amazing, and the game reminded me of Dungeon Keeper. I can see it becoming a bigger project with a proper story and many levels. At any rate, good job!
I didn't get the online part, but otherwise I think that the concept is pretty interesting, and there seems to be a lot of 3D modeling involved. Also, there's a goat \o/
Really love how you use a combination of grayscale, noise and dynamic lights. The audio is also really good. What I don't understand is why you couldn't just use the First Person Controller with default settings, controls would've felt much much better. Also, something that I have discovered recently myself:
1. Screen.showCursor = false;
2. Screen.lockCursor = true;
Otherwise, great entry, congrats :-)
The game looks nice. Like everyone else, I'm not a big fan of the glitches, plus the collisions were the main reason I died, so it was a bit frustrating. Other than that, good job.
Well, I guess you could say that this is...SOOK SESS!
For someone not used to inverted mouse, controls become a nightmare. I managed to kind of get a hang of it after a couple of minutes. Really love the sound effect when you move, gives it a really awesome cartoonish feel. And the grass looks super interesting. The game concept is not much different from the one I used in my game, and I like it a lot :-) Oh, one more thing: sheep is "sheep" in plural, not "sheeps." All in all—one of the best entries I've seen so far. Cheers.
Seems like Newgrounds doesn't like me :-(
For some reason it reminded me of FTL. Also, How did you add it to the Chrome store? Really curious.
That's one fast princess :D
Thank you for checking it out, sir!
Thank you guys ^^
And indeed, what IS with the name? ;-)
Thanks for the comments and for checking out the game, everyone! Your feedback has been most helpful.
I'm aware of the mouse weirdness on some of the mice, because the rotation speed is directly mapped to your mouse sensitivity, which means that game experience may differ on different computers (which I recognize as a valid problem), as opposed to, say, Super Hexagon.
This issue has already been fixed, and I will upload the new version once the voting is over, because it's a pretty big fix and would be against the rules of the compo, which I respect.
Cheers, and thank you for your time.
lol
Unfortunately, the jar doesn't work on my Mac. I've got Lion if that helps.
Hahaha, this game made me feel like my drawing is worthless. I liked it though. I feel like it lacks players to have more things to rate, but it's a neat concept.
OH MY GOD KILLER PENGUINS!!!
Those were some seriously delicious hedgehogs. Great realization, polished, almost ready to go on the AppStore, except they won't let it through because of the underlying political message. Good job!
Oh wow, this is really good! Hardcore, but fun! I think it would feel great on mobile.
Je comprends pas grande chose, mais c'est chouette quand même ^^ La musique est génial !
Hey man, I don't remember giving anyone this many stars. This is just perfect. You nailed everything. Minimalism is really your thing. Absolutely amazing. Great job.
Quite interesting, and for some reason reminded me of this for some reason: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdnO1QZJ--M
Pretty solid entry.
Oooh. So this is essentially Trackmania in 2D. Love it! Works fine on my Mac, but the character spawned in a wall in one of the levels once I died. Overall good experience though! Love the fact that you included a level editor.
Managed to capture the essential experience of a shoot 'em up. Quite hypnotic and really addictive.
I like the audio, and the way that terminal responded to my actions, but I had a pretty hard time actually reading the text. Maybe it's just the sleepless night, but I think the text is too small there. Anyway, I like the concept and it reminded me of Papers, Please in a way.
I really like the time machine effect, really neat! Controls are a bit tight, but I got used to them pretty quickly. Also, for some reason this game made me think about Frog Fractions. Anyway, good job!
This reminded of my first Ludum Dare game. Assets, music, but lasts 10 seconds :-) Luckily, this time the theme is 10 seconds, so it fits. Good job! Music's cool.
Nice little game, randomly reminded me of something I accidentally found when typing "bird watching game" on Google. http://games.lumosity.com/birdwatching.html
P.S. I want to believe.
Great mechanic well-explored, awesome level design. And I love the fact that the ball stretches when you move, it's a nice touch.
Nice and ridiculous! Loved the humour, and especially putting the pants on and the sharks. Great!
I won, solid LDTD :-)
Wow! This is cool, but I've already played a game just like this one in the LD. This is strange, because I find the concept quite original. Anyway, I like you take on it!
Had some good fun playing this one. A few comments: I felt like Score as an additional resource was superfluous, like you could make do with just time, adding and expanding it. Also, maybe you should try making it bigger and letting the player fall off the level. That could add some interesting gameplay possibilities.
Good guy John :-) Writing is funny, and the theme is well-represented.
Pretty solid game. I have just one suggestion: I think that instead of coloring the previous tile, you should color the one that the character is on. This way the player will have a better sense of direction and space.
No...but...wait a second :-O
Oh man, I'm bad at this. Nice idea though :-)
Hey, I couldn't play it, the very first game screen (with the character in hotel lobby) just freezes on "press any key to start" and doesn't respond to any input. I'm using Chrome on OSX Lion.
I liked it, especially the writing, but it froze after a while. I think I lost just before it stopped working.
Hey, not bad at all! Nice experiment with ammo/time and the way of making the player save the firepower. This could be the next Sine Mora.
I played on the Mac (I've got Lion), and it worked perfectly. Please bring the Mac version back.
Looks great, feels great, a bit hardcore, but I love it anyway. I'll try and get to later levels now :-)
Lovely graphics, and the sounds made me laugh :-) There's a problem with controls though: W doesn't make the character go forward if the cursor is not in front of him, this can be really frustrating. Also, what would have helped is a crosshair or some laser beam to indicate what you're aiming at. Overall, pretty cool.
She's almost as patronizing as Glados :P
You liar!
Excellent. Funny and well-written. And I love the way you handled the theme. Controls and collisions were somewhat awkward in places (like when you have to press space to move in a mission, but can move while the screen is black, or when you need to stand exactly one meter to the left from a character to talk to them), but overall, this is a great entry. Congrats!
I really like the music, reminded me of Osmos! I had a hard time controlling the ship and telling its current state of health, but that can be solved with a few new feedbacks, I suppose.
Really cool. I love the art and the mood. The dialogues felt a bit too random, but that doesn't mean they weren't funny :-)
Really nice and polished. Feels great, looks great, plays great. Has a great dogfight feel to it. Amazing job!
Not bad at all. I found the tutorial too long, and I also found myself disregarding the panel on the left completely, but neither of that prevented me from having fun shooting those zombie things :-)
I can imagine one can play this for a really really long time. You'll either tear your hair off or find Zen. Good job :-)
Holy shit, that was creepy and unexpected!
Couldn't figure out how to launch it on Mac even though I've got Blender. Blend files just open the scenes in Blender, and exe is a wrong executable file for Mac. Couldn't play :-(
For some reason the game refused to launch on my Mac. It says :"The JAVA JAR file "Ooops!!!.jar" could not be launched."
Hahaha, this is awesome and funny (probably because of the title). The keys were "sticky" on my Mac, so it made the game this much more hardcore. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it.
Excellent. 5 stars for Audio.
Good stuff! What you haven't accounted for is that I have a scroll wheel that can spin really fast for 5 minutes without any help from me :P
I like the concept a lot, and it is quite addictive too.
Looks cool, and it's a nice concept. It's a shame there's no sound, I can totally imagine some cool underwater sounds with nice reverb there :-) Another thing: the camera moves, but then it teleports when you reach some trigger. I'm pretty sure that it should be either one or the other, not both. Overall, good job.
Nice concept! Completed it. However, I've got a comment on level design, I think it's not sufficiently clear what objects are solid and which ones will fall. I think you could do something about their affordance. Other than that—good job.
I like my games like I like my badgers: hand-drawn and weird :P
Excellent humour, gorgeous artwork, cool idea. I did find myself wondering what it is that the main mechanic does exactly and struggling with the jumping/collision detection, but I suppose that's nothing that can't be fixed within a few hours if you decide to continue developing it. Good job!
Mac exclusive game? You are my hero! Thank you! We should have more of these. I liked the sprite of the character and the fact that it's monochrome :-)
Oh boy, my hamburger keeps exploding.
...
...
...
...
Like in real life :-(
Reminded me of Chronicles of Amber for some reason. Actually, I know why it did, because it's exactly the same story :o
I'm not exactly sure what to do with the .love file. Hm.
This is really fun, I like the concept. Unfortunately, it felt unbalanced in terms of how much money you have in the beginning and what you get later. Also, the cost of some upgrades felt somewhat arbitrary.
Sweet! If you don't believe that I'm giving this 5/5 for Graphics, just watch me.
Nice use of the theme, but controls felt a bit underdeveloped. I'm sure you can improve them really fast though. I like the concept.
It's a good concept for a mobile game! Right now it's super hard though, but I did manage to win twice :-) It would be more fun if you had better-defined rules for what elements appearing. Still, it's a neat idea.
Nice graphics and I like the music. The gameplay is cool too. All in all, a neat little action platformer.
This is pretty cool. The zombies made me laugh, and I usually don't like zombies. As someone has already pointed out, the camera is disorienting, but it's not necessarily a bad thing.
Some really good writing, and I like the color scheme a lot, don't listen to them :P
Nice! Lovely concept.
OSX version doesn't launch, the OS doesn't recognize the file as a valid app.
Great mood, great caustics, music's really atmospheric too. Kind of wish the fish could swim in vertically too, but then again, maybe I just didn't figure out how, and they actually can.
This is one nice duel simulation right there. Good job!
Neat concept! Reminded me of Sphere and Droidscape: Basilica.
Really cool and really hardcore :-)
This is epic in the best sense of the word! Love the fact that it's called Cube of quads :-)
Really fun! Reminiscent of GO and Tron. Oh and Dots of course! One suggestion though: I think the player should be able to pass through their own walls.
Doesn't seem to work on my Mac.
LDTD indeed :-)
Made me laugh out loud. Good job, really awkward.
Your Dropbox link is now giving me Error 404. Just a heads up.
Great typing game. Unlike some other typing games I've been playing recently, it actually was hard and triggered an emotional response, suspense and all. It felt like a thriller. Good job.
Can't play. Mac OSX Lion.
Cat-based gameplay!
Solid mobile runner. Also, the first Corona SDK game I've encountered in this Ludum Dare so far.
That's the first "non-game" I've seen in this LD so far, and, man, good job.
The intro is a bit too long for my taste (I think the skip button didn't work for me, but then again, I probably just didn't click on the Web Player to focus). But overall, it has a nice feel to it. Really like the clean typography that you've got going there.
It's an interesting concept, and I like the way it looks, but I think it needs more feedback and tips in the beginning, as it took me a while to figure out what was going on.
This is great! Reminded me of the cookie game indeed. Nailed the theme too. Good stuff :-)
Haha, really funny a ridiculous. Good job!
Haha, this is great. I think I went slightly mad while trying the Challenging mode :-) Good job.
Oh and, sorry for leaving you guys like that, I hope I didn't offend anyone!
I like the idea, the art and the realization. I like the music, too, but I was wondering if you actually made it in 48 hours, sounded like there was some singing involved, but then I realized that it's a jam entry ;-) Good job.
Hmm, every time I start, it just tells me "collision detected."
Good job, the core mechanic is well-explored and fun. And you play legs! :D
One small thing though: I thought that either collisions or perspective made me die in some of the levels. Like I thought I was standing on a tile, but I was, in fact, falling. I'm not entirely sure what you can do about it, perhaps check that collider on the legs is big enough and maybe change the texture of the tiles to be more in contrast with the character.
Anyway, solid puzzler.
Great idea. This really needs to play music though. Also, platform. iPad, perhaps?
The jar unfortunately didn't run on my Mac.
This is lovely! HTML5 FTW :-) It's very fun, and well-executed. Really short, but promising! Great job.
Wow! Great game! You've captured the essential experience of a runner/platformer. I like the fact that the mechanic forces you to adapt and change your strategy to without changing the surroundings at all while making you feel uneasy and up against the wall. Loved it.
Neat! Love it! This would make an amazing mobile game! Make me an iOS version, okay? :-)
Maggie was alone :P
Great entry!
Oh man, you would think that Ten Sextillion Zeptoseconds would be enough, but it's really not! So hardcore! Really fun too, and the mechanic is well-explored.
This is the first platformer I've encountered so far in this LD, and it's pretty neat. It is hardcore, alright, but I like how it uses the theme in its mechanics. Good job.
Okay, Carl Sagan was helpful :-) Nice little game, and I liked the fov effect in the fractal space, it really felt like time stretched. Cool entry indeed!
Really like the mechanics, and you've nailed the theme, but, as said above, controls aren't very intuitive which leads to a lot of frustration. All in all, pretty good though.
Why, it is painfully honest about wizardry of course.
They will! They will! :3
Thanks for the comments, everyone, I appreciate it a lot!
@CoffeeOnimal Well, I did miss Ludum Dare 26, got to make up for it somehow, right? :-)
Thank you for playing and commenting, everyone. Your feedback is really important to me! As a matter of fact, I'm gathering it all in a spreadsheet—this is how serious I am about your feedback :-)
@Sense Rotors are definitely generated correctly, as confirmed by other people who left comments and myself. My bigger concern at the moment is the difficulty curve, however, and the overall level of motivation potentially inspired by the story. I'm working on those.
@Crowbeak I'm terribly sorry to hear this. I'll see what I can do! Thank you for letting me know.
