LD25 — You are the Villain

Burglar! by Kalakian 2012-12-21T11:06:00

Glad it entertained some, at least for a few seconds :)

The blackout thing seems to be a problem with some WebGL implementations and handling the alpha-blending. Guess I should've done more testing outside my own comp and Firefox

LD26 — Minimalism

_M_ by GranaDa 2013-05-01T14:49:00

As others have said, it's not very clear whether you've done well or bad. I could get onto the third screen, but not sure how well/badly I did. Revering the direction didn't always work either (most of the time ok).

Good use of the theme, and the audio/graphics fit well together.

ASCII 219 by Richard Rice 2013-04-30T19:28:00

Great game, one of my favourites that I've played so far. Well thought out, good level structure, and fits the theme.

There was a few glitches in the audio later on in the game (on Firefox, Windows), but nothing to severe. Made it all the way to the end.

Shape Catcher by zinfandel 2013-04-30T13:30:00

It looks really nice, but I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. At one point, I kept getting a "you were killed" message for moving into the grass.

Make Friends Don't Bake Them by Almax27 2013-04-30T13:41:00

Great game, and well suited for the theme. Fun, addictive, and frustrating. I'm sure that level I couldn't get past is impossible, and it has nothing to do with me being crap :P

Captain Blowhole by EatYourBeef_Doug 2013-04-30T14:37:00

Good idea, but fairly clunky implementation (to be expected in a jam though). The 5th gun was totally OP and slowed the game down too much. Also fairly easy to click out of the window and start spamming the address bar with key-presses.

Has potential, and could be quite good if you're doing more on it post-jam

AYUG by Kalakian 2013-04-30T19:51:00

Thanks for the feedback.

I started off with tile-based movement and was going to move to smooth movement / hold key down. I kept it the way it is because it seemed to fit the theme and overall gameplay better. With smooth movement, it would lose part of the challenge since your speed wouldn't be based on how quickly you can mash your keyboard without destroying it.

Hyperborea: The Secret of the North by Cake_Catastrophe 2013-04-30T19:04:00

Nice game. As others have said, movement and collision could do with a bit of work. A little text (either in game or here) about how to play the game (controls) wouldn't go amiss. The character looks as though he's holding a sword, but I bashed a few buttons and there doesn't seem to be an attack

Cube Defender by kratorspore 2013-04-30T14:43:00

Great game, fits the theme well. Some music would be a nice addition

LD28 — You Only Get One

One Door by godan 2013-12-18T15:09:00

Not rated this as I had some difficulties, but it does look really nice.

First run: Unity crashed (I'm on Win8 using Firefox)
Second run: Difficult to control without invert-Y, but I pressed on. One of the doors I went through just turned everything white as though it was stuck in a loop or something (I couldn't do anything)

Pinpoint by Brainless Games 2013-12-18T17:03:00

More levels please :)

Nice fit for the theme. Graphics are a bit basic, but the game is put together well, so they don't detract from the gameplay.

Sense-able by Kalakian 2013-12-19T09:58:00

Thanks for the feedback. I could've got more done if I'd stuck with rough(er) edges, but I got stuck in a tweaking loop :P

Already considered having sense "slots" where you start with one, but can get more as the game progresses. Wouldn't fit the theme, but will probably be put in when/if I continue with the game.

Archerilles' Heel by TBSHRichard 2013-12-18T14:57:00

Nice idea. The controls are a bit clumsy (easily fixed though), and it'd help to explain the springy things in the actual level.
