try using space while in ant-form instead of luring the big beetle into the horde, that should make it easier ;)

very good ! just a bit slow to scroll, and confusing at the beginning when there's hills where you can't place buildings. Also sometimes deselect didn't work, maybe i clicked to low.
a bit unintuitive, what's the effect of hunger and scent ? do the creatures reproduce somehow ? what does positive/negative mutation do ? (virus or creature?)
a bit confusing, no idea what to do in the first color level, but awesome mood =)
I'm probably going to make a more polished-jam version today, needs a bunch more programmer art, world&dungeon decoration-items and different enemies.

Various different enemy types, also roaming the surface world. Epic boss battle at the End. (sort of)
Deco, dungeon walls, themed dungeon coloring and lots of tweaking.
Regarding control on how evolution goes : that is possible to a degree, every dungeon has one red gene, but also possibly multiple genes, so when exploring every dungeon fully leads to a more defensive character, whereas just rushing to the red and then going to the next is more agressive but also more dangerous later.
very good! just z is nasty on german keyboard, and picking up an empty gun can be confusing

ah, one thing, z is bad for german keyboard, where y and z are switched.
cool music and nice concept =) mouseclick to jump would be cool, since mouse+arrowkeys+space is a bit tough to manage. also the insta killing obstacles are a bit frustratingly placed, maybe 3hp + being bounced back ?

small hint for next time: zxc is bad for some non-english keyboards ;)
nice, just a few problems with difficulty. pong already took a while to hit the damn middle, and i couldn't get the walljump to be high enough in level 2. cool music, story and pixel art !
