Really great look. slightly annoyed with how close I could get and still miss. Would have liked some indication of how close to evolving I was, even if it was a vague idea.

was a little bit confused at first, didn't realize what was happening until near the end. made perfect sense on the 2nd play through though.
Very good atmosphere here. It may have to do with the fact that I'm alone in the dark but I had to quit before I could get to the end.

Really odd the end seemed rather abrupt but that's pretty understandable considering the time limit.
If I close the webstart do I have to redownload it to play again?
ah you click your unit, click the attack(sword) icon, then click the unit you want to attack. Try hitting escape before selecting your unit to make sure the selected action is none first. Minor bug with selecting only working if the selected action is none.

@mappum yeah I really wanted to fix up the UI but I didn't get started with the idea until late after spending a bunch of time going in different unsuccessful directions. Will definitely keep in mind when I get around to updating it.
just realized I had the units in tetris formations for my screenshot.
so there is apparently a <strikeout>bug</strikeout> feature that units can't act the first turn they come out. Let's just say they are tired from training and need a turn to get ready for battle.
Kept trying to hit E for awhile before realising i needed to click the button to evolve. Would let the E key also trigger an evolve. Other than that, great fun!
was a bit odd to have other life forms spawn on top of me and insta-kill from full health.
nice job. really did well with making a very simple set of actions fun.
web version asked me permission for java to run and I told it to go ahead but it never loaded. :(
The music is a bit loud. Other then that its great.
very nice, I thought things were getting a bit monotonous and then *bam* I had new weapon.
very odd The player feels kind of out of place with the 3d blocks of the environment, and the transition between the sky and the ground seems very disjointed.
fun quirky game, it got difficult at times to tell perspective though. Failing jumps is fine but when I have no idea what i did wrong(was i too short too far up or down?) it gets a little frustrating.
This was really visually impressive and interesting, the controls however seemed to lag and not respond leaving me charging off in one direction when I tried to turn and attack one of the mothbots.
I thought I had it all figured out and this was too easy once I got a wall of of the higher towers in their face. Nice that they managed to focus fire and start taking me down. Took down 617 of them before they got me though. nice work
A little bit odd, wish there had been a little bit more branching, I felt a bit railroaded.
Controls were a little bit odd flying into the air and spinning helplessly was odd. Really great besides that though!
This was pretty fantastic. Only issue really was path finding which is something AAA games have trouble with. Awesome job
This was fantastic. I only wish there was a little less confusion near the end when I couldn't find any more seeds and it apparently was just waiting for my last tree to grow some.
Ah well as far as life goes its the old school rule of one hit and you're dead. Could have done a score though since I'm keeping track of numbers internally anyway to determine the various win conditions.
Your player will visible change slowly as you kill more though so that should work in your favor of a score of a sense if killing is your goal.

Sad that there was no interactivity in this, would have been very fun/clever.

wow, I was skeptical from the name but this turned out to be a really fantastic game!
Normally pass on non-web titles but the concept drew me in, did not disappoint, nice job! Those acid blobs were really annoying though.
I am very confused at the end of this. What do the various number mean? what ended up happening? I need some closure!

yeah targeting specific enemies is on the list of things I want to do to improve this, instead I got caught up trying to add talking sounds and an intro which im about to upload.
@tyeGameDev are you on a mac? the exe i generated is sadly only going to work for windows but the python file is in the zip if you can compile that.
