I love the Bios of the different employees here. Thank you for making theme people instead of anonymous pools of numbers.

Oh i love that DwarfFortress-ish design!
Not bad. I like the colorful ASCII style.
It's a roguelike cookie-clicker! Took me some time to get what I was looking at, but after playing some I really started to enjoy it. Felt as addicting as any other clicker game :D Nicely done!
Kinda addicting and we dont talk about Bruno-no-nooo.... Nice employee descriptions and simple design. Could need some other upgrades and what they actually do, but cool concept with the visualization instead of just random + counters.
Love roguelikes, hate-love clickers... this is wonderful. Great job!
Confirmed by looking at the source that there is no benefit past level 20  So I can tell myself I finished the game :-) Though somehow I can't stop watching the numbers go up...
This scores a top score on innovation for me. I know ascii graphics are nothing new but this execution simply clicks with me. If I were to change anything is to fix the need to scroll on the LD page (I noticed too late that it is not the default and didn't want to restart).
Update: It took a moment but I got everyone to level 100. Damn auto games...
Solid base to build some fun mechanics on top of. Always a good time to see numbers go up :D The descriptions create some fun possibilities too!
Nice console-atmospheric game! If you'll continue to work on it, it can become a good big game!
The first rogue-like I've played this dare. A nice breath of fresh air. I like the ASCII style art. It is simple while still giving all the information needed.
I wish there were a few more sounds other than the beeping but I feel that part of that might've been a stylistic decision on your part.
I love the descriptions you gave for the characters. A few of them made me laugh. Very little to critique here just a fun game all around.
Very cool! Love the ASCII art style. Idle games are always enjoyable and fun. Good job!
This was a mood, not gonna lie! I wasn't super impressed with the upgrades til I got an employee to about level 20, then I was like "Oh, he NYOOM!" and I started to enjoy it a lot more!
Honestly my only real suggestion is to make it so that your "Cash on hand" is available all the time, so when you look at the employees to try to upgrade, you know whether or not you can afford it. :)
Great work, fun game, and honestly it's still going on my second monitor
It's always nice seeing a 'console' game in HTML5.
* The difficulty was balanced well enough that I didn't get bored trying to upgrade everything until around level 25 (on all workers) * The colored trails of the workers is a neat touch, this game would probably make for a pretty cool screensaver.
Nice job!
haha, surprisingly I had this running like an idle game for an hour :D
All hail Kugrash, the great rat king!
For a web development exercise, this is not bad at all. For someone not too into idle games, there's not too much game to be had here (in my opinion) - more sound effects and some music probably are a must in idle games. Also would have liked to see some employee stats exposed to understand why Bob is so much cheaper than everyone else (I levelled him up to level 61 and made him a literal speed king). Some layout suggestions: always show the current amount of money (a little annoying to change tabs to see it) and provide a checkbox to automate levelling an employee (to save me some clicks  ).
Reminds me a lot of the game Candy Box, which is also an idle game in ASCII art. I'm big into idle games, and I also have a soft spot for ASCII, so I really enjoyed it! I'd love to be able to see my money when I'm hiring or leveling up employees, but that's essentially my only complaint. It works so well, and watching all the little numbers move around is so satisfying. Well done!
