Graphics look really good, but the controls are a bit finicky and it took me a while to figure out how to play
Amazing title screen
I CAN FLY!
Pretty fun concept, though the gun's a bit of a nightmare to controll
There's a lot going on, but it seems like a really cool game with a lot of work put into it
Sound and art are really cool. Love the pulsing
Great game, but it could use an end screen
Definitely wasn't expecting a board game here, but it seems fun and you definitely put a lot of work into designing the rules and art
Looks really good, and the comment seems really funny, but it won't load on itch
320! Took 3 tries to avoid getting killed, but worth it!
Fun game
Art style seems fun, but the link doesn't seem to work
Plays really well and I love the art style
Only issue was that quest announcement was too hard to read with the background color
Not sure how high i got, but I passed the purple sky and reached an orange sky. Keep trying, but I can't seem to lose anymore
Ice beam seems a bit too powerful, but the game was a lot of fun, and I really liked the art
One day I will reach the orange moon
Nice game. Controls are really good and the bounce back from the gun is really great
You may want to limit the player's movement space. Once he gets too low the camera gets weird
Also, I fell off the edge
Looks really cool, but keeps crashing on my browser just as it finishes loading
Link doesn't work
Lot's of steps to install, but truly the greatest title any game has ever been blessed with
Had a bit of trouble with the controls, but the game looks absolutely amazing
Hope you keep working on it
Interesting concept, and I really like the graphics
Really love hard mode being there
Took me a second, but it was a lot of fun and looked really good
Timelapse was a really great addition to the page
As the light gets bigger, you can find flowers more easily, but are also more likely to trigger bombs
sry about that. i tested it on a really powerful computer
that was intended
great sound
Great game. It made me want to have a beer.
I'm going to go do that and then play your great game again
Option menu is a nice touch. Makes it feel very polished
Controls are a bit confusing, and it'd help if they were on the page
Loved the art, but the light seemed way too bright
Crazy hard game, but definitely beatable after a bit of practice
love the sound
Kept hitting myself with my own bombs. lol
but seriously, was really annoying when enemies appeared an inch away from me with no warning
Loved the aesthetic. Gameplay kinda remind me of Gal Gun
Played really well
Wasn't expecting a visual novel, but it was really beautiful and I had to give it a shot
Really enjoyed the story as well.
This game confused and angered me 5/5
Love the video trailer. It helps advertise the game, and made me curious to try it.
Wasn't a big fan of the art style, but it was consistent which is really important
played very well
Loved the leveling system. Can't believe I played it till I maxed out every stat
Really great game, though the maze was way too hard in the beginning
Small glitch when I had just under the max weight. I moved super slowly and couldn't stop moving even after letting go of the keys and couldn't drop anything either. It eventually let me drop something, but i was panicking and the cops were on the way
link seems broken
Love that you included a video trailer to show off the gameplay, though they probably didn't need to be that long. Trailers should quickly show off the main features of your game that you want to show to encourage players
Fun game. Took me a few runs to figure out what I was doing (I should've read the menu lol), but it was a lot of fun once I did. Hit a score of about 800 woohoo
A very cool concept. Love how you used the myth of Sisyphus to show gamer motivation and engagement. Second mountain was overwhelming frustrating and third was a cool challenge, but nothing happened when I got the boulder to the top of the mountain
Game created a vey unnerving feeling and loved how the difficulty increased each day. Made it to the final day, but there were too many items and I just couldn't find that demonic baby. Still a lot of fun to play
Ladder climbing felt a bit weird, but the rest of the gameplay was pretty interesting. I also appreciate the cheat sheet at the top. The game feels like it should be pretty innovative but I just got stuck my first few times I tried
Amazing game. Seemed pretty simple at first, but I loved how you slowly oddly in more and more elements of gameplay, especially the blocks affected by stasis.
Cute game
The power-up mechanic is cool, but the player starts off too slow at the beginning and that feels a bit frustrating
very cute aesthetics, but it was a bit unclear what I was supposed to be doing at first.
Seemed very bland and dull at first, but I was surprised to see how much depth it had with various types of blocks and upgrades
Wish I could have unlocked all the upgrades, but after 38 levels I got the 9999 maze and lost
Loved the various shells the crab could wear. Took me a minute to realize that the sea level was rising/falling every 10 seconds. I thought I was just very quickly moving between different levels.
Keeping track of 2 different conveyer belts was an interesting challenge that pushed me more than I expected
It was kinda hard to tell an i and a j apart especially when rushing back and forth
@schuster it was very clearly a pig...and you'd have no reason to believe it was a cow
@flying-dog-fish yeah 10 seconds is a bit much between clicks (still better than 6 hours lol), and good point about the menu. I should've included an option to close it
@otterfaelure I find something so utterly amusing about you playing the ukulele with a pig in the background. I'm also happy to provide some laughs and I'm truly glad that you liked my game!
Edit: I also enjoyed your crab game
Took me a bit to figure out what I was supposed to do, but it was interesting once I got the hang of it.
I'm still not sure what the time-frame was for the cat opening his eyes so I just dashed across the map as quickly as I could and hoped I wouldn't die
Really love the art style, especially when transitioning between levels.
Really cool puzzle mechanic that feels utterly terrifying as the timer counts down
I'm getting an error
Warning! The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: WebGL2
When I try to run it on Chrome and a black screen on Safari
Cool concept but it felt too fast at the start and I struggled to drag the plate onto the conveyer belt Maybe advertise the dish before the plate for it appears on the screen
A creepy and terrifying take on Santa (kinda reminded me of Family Guy's Road to the North Pole).
I managed to satisfy 1 child!
The colored buildings are a cool way of hinting at the target's location
Loved the inclusion of the video showing the entire process of making the game
The map was cool and fun to explore, but some of the collision boxes were a bit weird/unnecessary and this resulted in me losing a lot of time while trying to navigate around
Great game. Only seeing the map every 10 seconds was a great idea that really made me push my memory to the limit to remember what was around every corner.
I also appreciated the level select feature as this let me see everything the game had to offer
Lack of upgrade information made it a bit unclear about what to do even a few runs in, but the gameplay was a lot of fun and I liked the aesthetic, especially when getting hit by traffic
screen size was a bit weird
Very cool look and I loved the sound, but it was very hard to figure out how to play
Love to see interactive novels in game jams. Well written but sad story. Loved going back and seeing my alternative options
I had to return to see if I could save the teddy bear
The stealth gameplay was really cool and I loved the fog of war mechanic
The enemies were terrifying but their blaring got annoying very fast even with volume turned way down
Welp I'm an idiot lol
I missed the instructions and thought I was just supposed to turn all the lights on/off and then I fully missed that I could rotate the cards
Very fun once I figured out what I was doing. It could've used a bit more of a progression mechanic, like speeding up the cards falling or a timer or something like that
Cool physics mechanics and I really loved the low-poly art style but i didn't realize i needed to stop on the goal and i kept driving over the edge lol
Fun game. I found myself almost exclusively using the arrow keys instead of WASD without realizing which might've made it a bit more challenging than it should've been but I still enjoyed it. Loved the handwritten notes on the map. Very amusing
Didn't run on Safari, but that's pretty common lol. Thankfully it worked on Chrome and I really liked it! It felt like one of those sliding puzzles and was quite challenging
Also loved the art style
Love the game's atmosphere, but really struggled in the beginning to figure out what to do. Some of the UI elements were a bit hard to make out as well, which didn't help, but it was still really fun once I got the hang of it
The art style and music were terrifying and ominous.
Took me a bit of time to find both the stars and the key, but I eventually beat the game. Huzzah!
Steering controls were incredibly hard to get working and the NPC's picture didn't match the one on the map, even though their name did. Still an interesting concept
Game was fun once I got the hang of it, but the learning curve felt a bit steep. Could've helped if the first few orders were a bit simpler to get me comfortable with the controls and movement
very cute
Couldn't get it to run on here, but the itch link worked
The game looked and sounded great. The radar mechanic was really cool and I liked the alternate radar types, but the directional one should have followed the player's boat.
I wasn't expecting to fall into oblivion when stepping out of the boat lol, but the game was a lot of fun once I figured out what I was supposed to do
Intro page looked funny but it wouldn't run when i pressed play
Loved the voice acting, very rare for jams to include them
The game was a bit repetitive but fun
Also, I kept triggering the dialogue to repeat every time I walked into the house in the tutorial level
The music and atmosphere created an incredibly unsettling experience. I liked the endings as they offered a lot of feedback on what to do different next time
@milq I followed a tutorial on making a verlet physics engine in js for the basics of keeping the figures together and expanded off of that, scrapping most of the actual physics and velocity and adjusting the positions over time either with a sin wave or moving things manually. After that, it was mostly trial and error to make everything look and move right. I still wanna add a lot more and make some changes to how things move over time. Plus, I do think the gameplay needs work.
@2thegamechanger clicking speeds you up and after each reset, clicking increases speed by a larger chunk. I originally had plans to make the speed slow down as you approached the top, requiring more and more clicks but I never got around to this
I thought the game crashed after beating the second level lol. Still though, despite the simplicity, this is a rather interesting project. the fly and room are really well designed and the limited energy meter is a good way of adding in some challenge.
if I may offer one piece of criticism,, I at first thought that the electric fence was only deadly when the electric animation was playing, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Adding that in could be a good way to add more levels and challenge as the player could only rest on electrified panels briefly before they get turned back on
Really liked the game. It took me a second to realize I had to place the building after I selected it lol, but after that, it was very easy to understand. I like how you need to balance the 3 factors to make the perfect island. I managed to get an awesome and 2 goods after a bit of trial and error with the best strategy I found being just to put down as money makers as possible as quickly as possible so I could afford the theater and space port.
Would definitely be interesting if you found a way to create a better way to connect the 3 factors, like income drops if attractiveness is low because nobody is visiting
Also, just noticed that the models for the buildings are really well made but I fully missed them because of how zoomed out I was by default. Would be nice to have zoomed in on them when they were built or something like that
Love the attempt to mimic old school NES games with the gameplay and graphics, and the fact that you made it a 2-player game. That's pretty rare in jams and I really liked it.
The walls closing in were a great implementation of the theme and worked really well with the combat
Feels like this has the potential to be a very interesting idle game where things run in the background while you're away with notifications each time the giant crushes one of your structures
Puzzles are deceptively hard. Not sure how far I made it, but the hippo definitely upped the difficulty level quite a bit.
I really enjoyed the 3rd person world exploration to reach the puzzles. It was a nice touch, as were the instructions on the wall. That said, the pixel-art text you used is nice but a bit unpleasant to read over large paragraphs.
Plays really well with the exception of the camera which is pretty unwieldy
I love the art style.
Always interesting and unexpected to see a full text-based game in a jam but this one was pretty interesting.
I'd say my one complaint was that you started too strong with needing to suckle your father. I get the metaphor here, but it's hard to keep up a creepy atmosphere when it starts out that way and I don't think anything else in the game felt that creepy. Maybe a scene of being called to the office could've helped build up the tension, having the protagonist walk down a creepy hall before the reveal of the father.
Great mixture of two different gameplay styles. The cat stacking and the ending were hilarious
This actually reminds me of a game that a friend of mine made in college called wet....well I'm sure you can guess the rest lol
Love the riddles and the cute design of the character and the conversations!
Love the voice acting and trailer!
The game played really well, and I felt compelled to go for a second run after my first one ended in me running out of time (I blame the fake treasure room, lol). The unreadable text was a nice bit of foreshadowing that got me excited for the thing I'd eventually unlock to read them.
My one complaint would probably be that the doors felt a bit too small, and I was regularly just a bit off-center when trying to go through, which was pretty frustrating given the time constraints.
Really loved the audio and graphics, but the flower wasn't generating any willpower for me (did I need to unlock an upgrade for that?), which was kinda disappointing because I love idle games and really would've enjoyed the sensation of needing to rapidly click for willpower less and less as I advanced.
@p-r The birds that fly are primarily aesthetic. Initially, each circle was supposed to summon a different type of animal and create a wild array of dancing creatures in the background, but I only got the birds done in time. I do think they serve a purpose as a sort of distraction that makes it harder to see the path you're drawing, especially on later levels
@ellaris Sorry to hear it got laggy. I didn't experience that myself, but I should've done some more testing to check for that. The code's admittedly pretty inefficient right now and could've used an hour or two of optimization work. As for the difficulty, admittedly, normal probably should've been easy and easy should've been even easier (i stand by misery though).
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
@kaliuresis I certainly intended the game to be a bit infuriating haha. That actually made it a lot of fun to playtest with friends. As for the game getting easier as you progress, that's actually a pretty interesting mechanic because the game actually gets quite a bit more difficult on the harder settings as the small gaps between lines can't be crossed with the smaller brush
@henk Sorry there was no end screen. I didn't have time to include one so I thought it'd be fun to just give players the chance to summon an endless number of birds
@ty-victorson The birds were supposed to kinda up the difficulty as you went along, making it harder to see what was happening on the circle and possibly tripping you up
@nrankin13 Glad you liked it! The last level or two were admittedly a bit too hard to finish (it took my friend 3-4 tries) because so many of the lines are hidden but I just really loved the visual of the massive circle forming especially when I was play testing it with friends and they all groaned in despair upon seeing it lol
Really impressive what you got done in such a short amount of time! There's a great atmosphere here that was really fun/unnerving to explore
Incredibly rare to see a multiplayer game in a jam that actually works! Really interesting concept and I hope you keep working on it!
Loved the concept and how you set up the tutorial level to fully explain the mechanics to the player.
I think it'd be helpful if there was some variance in how the demons looked, even just a slightly shifted hue could make it easier to keep track of who is who
Really fun to figure out all the combinations and what could be unlocked. That said, I thought the raindrop pulses on the map were events happening that I needed to react to.
Loved the references throughout the game and the idle nature of combat, but the tab kept reloading due to memory constraints unless I rushed through the gameplay.
Also, Buu was tough as heck. Some of my guys had stats over 100 and he still bulldozed them easily
Loved the gameplay, felt kinda like a rougelike flappy bird (which I kinda wanna make now lol). The story definitely made me laugh
I couldn't get very far, but I really enjoyed what I saw. Using what you've learned along with trial and error to beat the game in less than 90 seconds is a really fascinating concept that you executed amazingly, though I could've used a bit more time lol
Fun game, though i think the starting slime might be a bit too weak to actually last long enough to gather any resources. Took me a few tries to kill and then avoid getting taken out before I grabbed my loot.
Really loved the graphics style! Simple, but it got the point across very easily.
Also, this might not have been exactly how you intended it to be played but my most fun attempt (and the only one that ended in victory) was a result of hunkering down on the circle and just spamming shields and triangles. Definitely felt like that made it into a fun and tense tower defense game where I had to keep replacing what had just broken
Really enjoyed the game, but the frog's movements felt really off. Seemed like he was moving too fast for his animation, his animation didn't really turn, and he jumped before his legs really started to move. He also clipped through the ground a lot, but overall, still a really great game
Controls were a bit finicky, but i really loved the designs
@haayaargh
this is just pure js lol. The dialogue is stored in different objects, some of which contain functions that trigger when they're displayed
here's an example
"opening_choice": { "text": () => `I'm in battle with a wild ${pokemonStats[currentPokemon].NAME}. What should I do?`, "choices": [ { text: "Fight", next: "Fight1" }, { text: "Tell My Monsters to Fight", next: "monsterFight1", condition: hasMonsters }, { text: "Run Away", next: "runAway1" } ] },
The best strategy I found was just to bring out one piece at a time so I didn't drop it lol. Very funny concept
Absolutely loved the garbage stacking mechanic in the bag!
Loved the game, though it felt like there were a few too many people walking around the map. Also, I lost a life while just sitting in my cage
The cutting and cleaning mechanics were really cool and unique mechanics that I haven't seen before in a game jam
Really loved the gameplay, but it could have used some more mechanics to increase the difficulty over time
Very fun game, though I spent too long mashing E to try and kill people, before I realized there were ghosts floating around
Love the design and the gameplay loop.
I enjoyed running around the map, but it did feel like my boars died too quickly (i was gone 30 seconds tops), which kinda broke the game. No more boars spawned, no matter how much food I gave them, so a game over screen could've been helpful there or a flashing warning letting me know that they're all dying
Probably my favorite game of the jam so far. Really enjoyed the constant loop of collecting and selling, especially since it kept changing to different mini-games. My only issue was that the first 2 mini-games kept randomly closing on me every few seconds, but i still found them enjoyable
Nice game. Took me a few tries, but eventually I fot to the end
Always love an upgrade system in a jam game!
It might have helped if you had added a timer to the levels since I felt i could just take my time and wait for an easy shot
love the feel of this game. very creepy and unsettling
Love the voxel graphics
This seriously brought me back to my childhood where i used to play typer shark in computer class (yes, I'm old and that game rocked). Only complaint would be that I sometimes struggled to keep a word going, like I'd do a dot and then it'd disappear before I did a dash, but that might've been on me
Really like the signal mechanics and wish that had been a bigger part of the game
Fantastic game, though it weirdly reminded me of fnaf secret of the mimic lol
I appreciated the tutorial but the explanations still left me feeling a bit confused and could've been worded better and/or included screenshots of the game to better clarify things
Loved the text after every death. It reminded me of Jak and Daxter
Also appreciated that the red block fell instead of disappearing, as this game gave me a chance to jump off it instead of falling to my death.
Very interesting idea, though it did take me a bit to figure out how I was supposed to play it
Absolutely loved the aesthetic of the sonar wave pulsing through the room
really love the vibes and art style but i get this error every time new text loadsScreenshot 2026-04-21 at 5.55.50 PM.png
Loved the artstyle for this game. Definitely don't see many games like this in a jam and it really helped up the creepy atmosphere
That said, the game was a bit too easy and I never actually had to use A/D to fight off the ghosts. Might've helped if the ghosts were attacking from a larger range of angles with a smaller signal or the radio had to be tuned to a different frequency for each type of ghost
Really like the idea but the interface was too busy right at the start. The game would've felt a lot better with a more gradual introduction of all the elements.
A really unique idea. I loved it!
Very interesting concept, and it was a lot of fun to play, but I found a glitch in my first run. If you keep pressing the jump button while getting hit, you can get stuck in the far right wall, where you're basically invincible. This got me down to about 8000 meters then I got stuck and couldn't go down any further.
