I couldn't deal with the FPS and the motion blur : (
Thanks everyone! Just released a bug fix update that should correct most of these issues. Hope you enjoy it!
I liked the character and idea, although the controls layout was a bit odd.
Tried to run the game on windows 7. Window opened and instantly closed. :(
Solid game with good gameplay. Got to the end (victory!). The difficulty spikes quite a bit near the end but the progression of the mechanics was well thought out. The chopping sound did remind me of cutting grass after a while :)
"The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"
This is the error we got when we tried to run the latest version :(
As my wife says "you're a fuckin' sperm!" We made it to the area with 4 ball-ish bacteria of doom and 4 coil-ish bacteria of doom a few times before being frustrated that there were no checkpoints and having to Pull Out. Fun game! The soundtrack was catchy and the art was appropriately Fun ;) Just wish there were checkpoints so we could've Finished :)
It's like I really hate mark. I just wish doggy was there. Lisa's graphics were tearing me apart; Denny is much more reliable.
Really really clever! almost too clever : D
Neat atmosphere and mechanic :)
I found the scoop under the table and used that to pull the box out from the corner and carry a bunch of pieces to the doll houses... where I proceeded to not have enough parts to build any complete dolls (only lots of bodies and heads and like one arm).
The I have a small play space so I wasn't really able to reach much on the conveyor belt, but I did give it a good shot.
The graphics look great and the soundtrack is pretty creepy. Overall, I liked it!
Really nice idea. Was fun to see how to arrange yourself, kinda makes me feel like that game show "Hole in the wall". Really fun! Especially really liked the "darken your view" mechanic for stopping VR exploiting. Ended up teleporting myself into a position where my view went black and I was stuck :(
Tried with both a controller and keyboard/mouse. Could not get controls to do anything I wanted them to... (One of our team tried every button on the controller with little success). The music and art looked nice and it seemed like there was a lot of cool stuff there... if we could just get to it.
Note: Played WebGL version, controller was XBOX360 wired.
This feels a lot like the game lemmings, which is a good thing! Clever puzzles with limited mechanics. I did wish there were sounds for things; it was fun!
Nice concept; The sounds letting you know that a ghost was close to you was a bit annoying. The rotation of the character being tied to the character's local forward direction instead of relative the world's directions feels restrictive to the player.
Nice art and good job setting the mood with the music and the effects. The game kinda trailed off for me around level 13 so I just let the barricades go down and was a bit sad that there wasn't any beast that got it and tore everything up. Overall pretty fun though :)
Controls felt old-school, which can be appealing.
Pixel art is very simple, but feels lively and consistent.
Piano music was soothing.
Interesting mechanic though it bugged out when I played and I couldn't let go of the det cord. Explosions were pretty neat but I couldn't get them to behave as expected. Teleporting across the top of the blocks was interesting. Got teleported into the sky several times which was really disorienting.
Really fun, I was disappointment there was not a cat riding the Roomba ... but I loved everything else. Great execution of a clever concept. The game design felt very cohesive and the the upgrade system kept me coming back for more.
This is one of the best compo entries I've ever seen. I think it not only fits the theme, but is a brilliant and creative undertaking in and of itself. The games were each polished and extremely well done. I can't think of anything more to write but: Daaaaaamn. Well Done.
Solid mechanic and followed the theme well. Couldn't dedicate enough time to exploring the entire game, but it has a lot of potential.
The game was fun! I like the concept of stacking hats and throwing them like boomerangs. I wish the intro was skippable after seeing it the first time as I would have played more rounds. The camera shake was almost too much for me. My hats sometimes mysteriously disappeared when I was throwing or trying to catch them while fighting enemies and eventually I had no hats. I found I kept wishing the hat would throw where I clicked, instead of the direction I faced. Overall fun game and a neat concept :)
I'm not sure what I was supposed to do, but the driving and crashing and rainbows was very satisfying. The music and sounds were very enjoyable with the season-y theme. Oddly addicting and fun!
@juliensnz Thank you! Our artist worked really hard on the graphics while we kept trying to figure out what we wanted to do. It was no easy task, to be sure. And you're right about the arrow keys, I totally forgot to hook them up to the character controller. @romain-navazo You can walljump :) Maybe I should add that note to the controls section though... Thanks for the feedback!
Started out simple and fun. Then a car hit another car... then a car spawned inside another car and created a crazy explosion that resembled a locust swarm that could be rivaled only by a plague from Moses. Loved it. 10/10.
Nice game. Simple but fun.
I think I sank more balls into my own potion pots than my opponent's. I like the take on the theme and the twist on beer pong. Really cool that you went for a networked game. I do wish the turns were a bit faster. Overall I think it was fun and would work well as a silly multiplayer phone app game you could play with friends.
I don't want to jump the gun here... but jump wasn't working :'- ( Also, if you walk back and forth repeatedly Dracula does a fabulous dance :- D
Untitled.jpg I started by instantly rolling right as hard as I could and fell into infinity! Then I reloaded and saw your comment. Awesome. Game was very rolly and silly, could not figure out how to grab the pizza. Got granny-ed a few times, but seems fun.
Untitled.jpg I love dungeon crawlers! Loved the music; The interactions with the player could use feedback though :)
I liked it! I ended up shooting my cows a lot to see the funny things they said, and since there didn't seem to be anything bad that happened when I did. I didn't see any preview images before playing, so when I figured out I could blow up walls with bombs I felt clever :P Control-wise, I would like it if mouse scroll item selection didn't "select" equipment slots with nothing in them yet. Fun! Good job :D
Pretty fun clicker feel to it. The bad effects were hard to notice until the storm-type ones. Stopped at the level vs the AI where you both get a large planet and two small ones, pretty fun! The concept reminds me of ender's game.
Very Decent-like. Sounds are good. Fun game makes me miss Descent.
Good game for the game jam. Graphics are good, and really fun! Seems to lag sometimes as you approach the fire.
Pretty solid Tetris with a twist. The title screen looked cool!
Interesting story with a humorous touch.
Gameplay was a bit confusing, it was not very easy to tell what would count as a cookie and what wasn't. Very cute game and graphics.
