Flat Line To Happiness by Dillon 2017-12-15T06:22:23Z

Very enjoyable! I did reach a point where I got another popup from my prescription giving me more time, however I could not click okay to continue. I had to quit playing. The click animation was moving the button, just couldn't get rid of the overlay. 5/5 would play again!

Virus Eater Peter by Nathan 2017-12-09T20:31:40Z

This was surprisingly fun. I really enjoyed playing this.

Travel Light by Shivur 2017-12-07T06:17:42Z

Good direction over all. Upgrades, scenery changes, and increasing difficulty are the next logical additions. Not a bad start for 48 hours at all though. Also, can he always look where the mouse is pointed? That would feel better too.

The Curse of Power by sbeif 2017-12-10T07:06:59Z

I liked that there were multiple endings. I got number 4 too many times, but it was rewarding when I finally got ending number 2. I assume you need to lose all power to get ending 1? You have a good gameplay base for an interesting single player campaign.

Disk Overdrive by Bendev_Games 2017-12-06T04:03:57Z

I really like the direction and theme here. If you expanded the gameplay and graphics of this, you could have a nice little robot strategy battle game here.

Sorted by Ryan Temple 2017-12-15T06:32:49Z

More mechanics for sure! Please expand.

Rot 24/7 by jsqrs 2017-12-06T03:57:40Z

This is very interesting. Music is great too! How do you do the hot dogs?

I'll Take You To Tomato Town by adamgryu 2017-12-10T05:42:04Z

Pretty fun little game, enjoyed looking for the items and seeing the people.

Too Many Cooks! by Bocodillo 2017-12-05T22:21:11Z

lol too many cooks, it takes a lot to make a stew.

Tetripitalism by chadrbanks 2017-12-15T06:05:58Z

Hi everyone, thank you so much for the feedback! TBH, I thought about charging for the mute button, but I didn't want to be too cruel. I just posted an updated v2 based on the feedback above. If any one is interested; this version has 3 changes in it.

1. Closer to classic Tetris fashion, the tetrominos now fall faster as the game progresses. 2. Fixed a bug with the text fields not rendering properly. 3. Added a new additional element of challenge on the capitalism side; ads.

The ads will now spawn on screen, right in your way of course. You have to click on them to get rid of them. If that isn't bad enough, getting rid of them also costs money. As the game goes on the ads will get more intrusive, spawning faster and costing more.

I am also working on tracking down the hidden feature above where the blocks get split up. I will post an update with that fixed once I figured it out. If I get a couple more comments about extra elements like the stock exchange, I will add that too!

Thanks again everyone!

Balloon Baffoon by B34k3rM33p 2017-12-08T04:58:31Z

Animation and progression. I really like the whole balancing act. But I need additional places to explore and grow.

Type Them Down by Angelonias 2017-12-10T04:44:08Z

These typing games remind me of my old Mario Teaches typing, I love it!

BIO-EX-DEUS by Joror 2018-08-27T00:37:17Z

I love me some sims. Can there be an unlimited time mode or something longer?

Parking Spaces by Imphenzia 2018-08-21T00:29:10Z

Simple, but enjoyable. How about a 2p versus mode?

worm.exe by Linus 2018-08-21T00:35:55Z

Win XP, classic. I like the idea and direction it was going. Very nice.

Mini Micro by HuvaaKoodia 2018-08-30T01:04:30Z

This is good. I could see this being an iPhone app that I waste hours and hours trying to 100% all the levels. Great work!

Rude Bear Resolution by alexrose 2018-08-27T14:53:00Z

Hey Alex, I came to see the result of your efforts but it is only for Windows. No HTML or Mac ports? If you don't plan on doing release for Mac, then I may dig my old dell out or something. Either way, thanks for streaming and chatting about SOAD! it really helped me stay focused on the Jam, and I was happy with the result.

Rude Bear Resolution by alexrose 2018-08-28T19:26:57Z

@alexrose That makes sense. If you just need it to be tested then I would be more than willing to test it on one of my Macs and send you the results. Especially if I can get some feedback on my submission in return, that would be BA. I can even include screen caps or whatev, you would just have to be willing to export a Mac.app file from Unity and send it to me.

Bomb Factory by Lucas Ferrantelli 2018-08-22T23:38:57Z

Very throw back to old bomber man, love it!

Room Tetris by Hilvon 2018-08-26T20:32:47Z

I think there was a typo in the help section. Did it say top left when really it meant top right?

ROGER THE DODGER by unfinished 2018-08-23T14:11:01Z

This felt like a very interesting new take on frogger. The graphics, controls, and audio were on point too! I enjoyed it, nice work.

Cube Disposer by sh1rogane 2018-08-26T21:31:00Z

Very fun, and the audio was very satisfying the way it is paired with the game play. 5/5

Sumo Warrior by G4m3M4ni4c 2018-08-26T20:28:08Z

Not a bad little game. Would be cool if there were something to mix things up. Maybe an optional mode that adds some sort of power ups or something. Also multiplayer!

Break by starhacker 2018-08-18T01:10:20Z

Very fun actually. The gameplay is simple too once you figure it out. Only feedback would be more details on the controls when you start it up, and maybe a way to remap them.

Eclipse Galaxy : A Smuggler Story by chadrbanks 2018-08-21T14:35:38Z

Hey @marcenat thanks for the feedback! We lost a lot of time Saturday and we were very rushed, so a lot of content either did not make it in the original or was broken. If you try the delta, you can see a huge difference. We had better assets for the ships ready, but never got to implement them :(

Both the cantinas and the audio were broken in the original. The market UI was not great either.

The delta has the cantinas and audio working properly. We also cleaned up the market UI and implemented a couple other things. The hovering issue is also a known bug. I think I was able to make the hover issue a little less prevalent in the Delta version, but I just never had time to fix it completely; there was always something more important to fix or work on. Even now, if I were to continue development there is so much I would love to be able to do.

I hope you enjoyed it, thanks again for playing!

Eclipse Galaxy : A Smuggler Story by chadrbanks 2018-08-22T17:22:56Z

Thanks for all the positive words everyone!

@marcenat Thank you for re-playing the delta! Feedback received. The sounds were made very hastily, I can turn down the volume on them a bit, or try to soften them. Should I consider raising the starting fuel amount to 5 or 7? Keep in mind that users can buy more fuel in the market.

Eclipse Galaxy : A Smuggler Story by chadrbanks 2018-08-26T19:48:40Z

I just released delta version 0.9.9 to implement some of the community feedback here.

@marcenat I have toned the volume down a bit, so hopefully that helps a little. I have also raised the starting fuel to 5!

@hilvon Yes balancing was hard with such short time, I just wanted to focus on adding all the features instead. Thank you for the recommendation on the hover bug though, it worked! I initially ignored this bug to focus on other things. I assumed it would be hard to fix. But that was rather simple, thanks again!

@greenandsubmarine Thanks for the feedback as well. I added labels to the markets so that it is more clear what you are buying. As for the quests, were you playing the original or the delta? Quests may not be working in the original but they should be fine in the delta. They are not accepted though, it is more like you just turn them in if you want. Every cantina has a set item they are looking for and a reward when you turn it in. I think I am going to add more details about how to play on this page.

Thanks to everyone who played, and gave us feedback! I am working on playing and rating all of your games. I am almost caught up!

Panic attack! At the party by Rammy294 2018-08-27T00:22:08Z

Tried to play, but no HTML or Mac version available.

WeAreTheAntidote by Mowztouch 2018-08-23T14:25:52Z

I agree that the UI is a bit cluttered and there was no clear goal or tutorial. I would definitely consider a revamp of the intro and how players get into and interact with the game. I did also get some lag, but I used the HTML version. I would consider optimizing or removing this option. I usually add an export type toggle so the game can detect if it is in HTML, Windows, or Mac format. You can then use this when rendering graphics or other content, may help manage the resources.

Zero Star by CristiHKJ 2018-08-26T20:16:37Z

How could I not give that audio a 5/5? Nice work! All things considered the gameplay was fun too, I really liked dodging the missiles and hearing the sound they made as they went by!

cargOS by tigerj 2018-08-22T03:20:46Z

Very fun, requesting mouse support though.

Junk Dealerz by Lodugh 2018-08-22T23:39:58Z

I attempted to play but no HTML or Mac version available, sorry.

Junk Dealerz by Lodugh 2018-08-24T00:20:31Z

Yes! This game looked good from the images and description, and it lived up to it. I enjoyed playing, even in a web browser. The one thing I would look forward too though is the ability to remap keys. Using right click is not desirable in my case. Keep up the great work!

Clutter Dungeon by kodran 2018-08-28T01:14:07Z

I attempted to rate and play, however there were no HTML or Mac versions available. Was this made in Unity?

SpaceLab 42 by Wassim 2018-08-27T22:42:45Z

@melatonin My game (https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/eclipse-galaxy-a-smuggler-story) got a comment similar to the second one. Sad, because it complemented the balance of my game which is the one thing I was kinda worried about. You can add it to your list of 6 if you want. I wanted to give this game a 5/5 on graphics and audio @astonishing, does anyone have links or proof the content was ripped from the Unity asset store?

RunnINN out of space by gamedevkng 2018-08-22T02:43:26Z

This game was a little hard to figure out and play, could use more from a tutorial stand point. But it was very fun and clever once you got into it. And I really liked the art and music!

Inventory Quest by acfaruk 2018-08-28T01:38:36Z

This is legit fun, I love the addicting gameplay. Great work! If you expand on this, I would definitely be looking forward to it. I would like to see more items, maybe something like procedural item generation for instance. Additional game modes / mechanics would extend gameplay a lot. Could you also do random shop keepers that pop up, maybe kinda rare? Say they have room to buy a certain number of items, just a few or so and you have a timer to pick what you want to sell. Lots of places to go with this. Nice work!

Super Mario Machine Gun by dollarone 2018-05-02T01:49:24Z

This is quite possibly the best game I have played in this Jam so far!

Dungeon of Amplidi by godsboss 2018-05-12T22:08:32Z

This was surprisingly fun! I enjoyed building the dungeon and watching my guy expire it. I would love to see this expanded, maybe force the player to put down some traps and stronger enemies.

WarCard by gagapete 2018-05-02T01:43:09Z

Bombs were not clear on how to use, but I figured it out. I enjoyed it overall. More levels and challenges?

Arithmetris by MagmaFortress 2018-05-02T01:32:25Z

Really interesting, I would like to see this expanded. Maybe special items or something to clear lines.

Bullet Rogue by squirrelsoft 2018-05-09T03:10:41Z

Nice little game. Health kits need to be a thing.

Idle Escape Room by gimbalock 2018-05-09T03:30:58Z

Excellent idle game! Beat the game and it felt like it flew by. You should add an endless mode with more activities.

Lucky Fight! by riktothepast 2018-05-11T21:10:15Z

I really liked this. The only issue I see is that there are no choices to be made, so even though rolls are random there is no thing you can do but let the game play out. Give us some sort of choice like items to use or stats to allocate. I would also love a 1 player vs robot mode!

Towered by JPatrick 2018-05-12T22:27:57Z

Keep up the great work! One thing I would like to see though, the ability to click on an enemy to see their stats.

Ludum Dare 41 - Prime Serenity by pRoFiT 2018-04-24T02:09:31Z

Mac or web build?

Deck of the Dead by Balance686 2018-05-08T01:14:19Z

I played this a lot longer than I thought I would. I would love to see more content too! My advice is to balance this a little to be easier and faster at first, then make it get harder and harder as you go. And also add more weapons and maybe traps, just more content in general. Nice work!
