Nice game. Cool retro style. The character was easy to control, making you focus on the level design instead of jaggy controls. Relaxing 8-bit music, fit the style well. I sometimes felt like having to wait to much for platforms. For example level 3; if you miss the platform you have to wait a whole lap for it to come back. Maybe two platforms could go around that path, to make you jump in quicker. Overall, really nice consistent game!
Best graphics I have seen this LD. Beautiful. Sounds effects are awesome aswell. Great entry!
Love this game. It's near perfect for a compo! Fun gameplay with replayability. Fun audio. Cute graphics. Small eastereggs. Love that the toys stay at the bottom of the tub, when destroyed. It was also fun to follow your stream. Big inspiration!
Really nice game, with a lot of depth. Impressive you managed to get all this done in 48 hours. The game has a good feel of spacetravel and planet exploration. It's nice that you can actually feel lost, when the map rotates, just like a gimbal lock must feel like in space :) Cool that you can track your movement on the minimap, and funny small planets to explore. I really like the mood of the game! Nice job!

Cool introduction, with voice over. I liked the style of the game and the storyline. It was a little short, but had a nice feel to it. The controls could be better, but it worked. I didn't like that the menu need arrow keys and enter, but the game was asdw. Would have been nioce if the menu reacted to asdw aswell. Cool game though!
Beautiful game! Nice graphics and fun audio. Love the interactive menu. Everything fits together so well in this game. And the motionblur adds a nice touch. I have to say, that I feel, it's too hard to avoid the craters. Maybe I'm just bad at the game, but I feel I have no chance of avoiding meteors, and mostly it's luck. Maybe if the car would drive just a little bit slower? Nice to see the Making Of video, and I also follow your channel. Quality videos! Keep up the good work Brackeys!
Loved the mood and atmosphere of the game. It makes a game like this with simple mechanics worth playing. I liked the colors and the grain filter. And the music made it feel like a John Carpenter/Stanley Kubrick movie. The controls seemed a little laggy, maybe my PC was not able to handle it. But overall, really nice contribution!
Wauw, very difficult, even the easy setting. But I like it. Simple, easy to understand. Good controls. I like the atmosphere of the game. Though the sounds are good, I think they need more balancing. Some of the sounds are really loud. But overall really cool little game. But difficult!
Great Puzzle. It took some time before I realized how to control the game. Would be nice with mouse controls, to instantly recognize the hover movement on tiles. But, that aside, when I realized the game-mechanics, I really enjoyed it. Would like to see more levels, and of course having some sfx and music would add to the atmosphere.
Funny game. Good idea with a sperm race, and trying to keep competitors away. I was not a fan of the delay in the shooting. But I really liked the audio. Great little game!

Really cool and innovative idea idea. Love the switch between level layouts, where you can actually get some hints from the other before you switch. If the controls were just a little more smooth, this would be really addicting. But it gets a little frustrating when you use more time on learning the controls, than actually deciding the best time to switch layout. Very cool game though! Good job!

So, I have to call the game done now. Even though there are many things I would have wanted to implement. Enemies, End goal, Time challenge, Upgrades, Skills. But anyway. This is the first time I enter the Ludum Dare, and at least I finished something. Now I just have to figure out how to enter my game.
**Tips:** * You can overpopulate your hive by manually clicking the egghatching activation button. * Always have planty of builders, to keep expanding your hive, and not reach population limit. * Check if operations are running (green button). Some operations like evolve and fungalgarden will pause if you reach population limit or run out of resources. * Get rid of the waste. Assign Mediae ants to carry out waste from the fungalgarden. If the waste level gets too high, a small part of your hive will collapse. (Waste produces more waste) * The more ants you have of a certain caste, the faster they will evolve into the next tier. Don’t hesitate to pause evolutions, if you need a lot of a certain caste. * “Where are the enemies?” Lucky you, I didn’t have time to implement threats to the hive, that the major ants should fight of. That means the main focuses of the game are; Don’t reach population limit, don’t get too much waste, don’t run out of resources.
One of the most complete games I've seen in this LD. Everything fits together. Music, sfx, graphics, gameplay. Impressive you managed to complete this in 48 hours.

Great game! Nice idea to combine memory game with an avoid arcade style game. Works well. I like how the music adds to the anxiety of meeting people on a bad day. It would be nice with a counter on how many "friends" you have avoided. Overall nice little game that fits the theme very well. And congratulations on your first game!

Simple but beautiful. I really like that you put a lot of effort into the graphics. I like the style, remind me of Beavis and Butthead. Funny sfx, though the music could be a little more interesting. Nice mechanic, that you HAVE to alternate keys, otherwise lose momentum. It would have been nice to see and hear the tv be turned on in the end. All in all, great game!
This is very well executed. I like the "Limbo trial and error" feel it has. I actually like that it's not obvious where traps are, that you have to experience them, and then try again. The ambience sound gives a nice atmospehere, though I don't like the footstep sound. Cool game!

The game looks really good. Easy to understand, hard to complete. The level design is really clever, I just wish it would be just a little easier. But the rewind function is a great idea, so you don't have to start over everytime you crash. Cool game!
Nice game. I love the graphic design, very smooth. The controls are a little to hard, but the game is still fun. Storywise, I was a little surprised, that the police arrested me for just walking down the street. Maybe they should wait till after you steal laptops? Very cool game tohugh!
Nice clicker. The UI looks an aweful lot like "Idle Hacker", any inspiration from there? I really like the pixel art, looks great.
For your first game, it's really good. Easy to understand and play. Nice addition that you slow down in the grass. A little weird that you can drive over houses and off screen. But all in all, nice little game!
Nice idea. Mechanics work well, and the sfx gives a nice feedback on whats going on. I would like it to be a little more easy and forgiving in the beginning; enemies easier to destroy, more money income to build more towers. So you quickly get a feeling of progression.

@AndideBob. Yes, I know it's not easy to see how to gain money. But under each region under *"region income"* is a button with a price, that will upgrade the regions income. You can then collect taxes of that region. I found out to late, that the button is not that visible. But, thanks for trying out the game and leaving a comment!

Really nice idea. I did a government style game too! I wish the laws and their consequenses were a little better explained. The pixel art is nice, and really suits the game. I like the ending screen as well, even though I see it a bit to often. (I'm not that good ruling Rome)
This is great. Fatanstic visuals. Great sfx and music. Runs really smooth. Easy to understand gameplay, hard to master. Fun to see if you can beat your score. But the highscore always was at 1024. Would be nice if it updated correctly. Love the game!
Awesome game. Got 14730 points in second try. Everything worked for this game. Funny story and gameplay. Nice sfx and music. Great visuals, really like the cutout artwork, fits the game well. Only thing i felt was missing, was to be able to run around holding A and D keys, instead of tapping them fast. Other than that this game is one of the best I've tried in LD39. Good job!

Cool game. Nice pixel art, and great idea. I like the switching between flask screen and map screen. It was a little difficult to understand where troops were, and how to use them. Other than that, great game. Both in visuals and sound.

Awesome entry! Really well made. I was 5 seconds late for school on my first run :) Great idea that smaller steps are faster, but longer steps are more precise, and easy to place. And the growing up, to move faster works great! It's a little disconnected from the theme, but the game is really fun! Good job!

Nice entry. Good idea with starting the first car on screen, to show how game works. Nice detail with collision on lampposts. Nice 3D models, and good music score. I wished the cars would start up just a little bit faster, to not pile up, otherwise, great game!
Nice entry. Throwing the stuff felt nice and smooth. Nice with audial feedback on the throws. Levels, music and a scoring system would make this an awesome game! As a colorblind, I couldn't see the difference between the diamond and the silver chute. Had to trial and fail on that to find out. Other than that, great game!

Great game! Fitting the theme, and fun to play. I like that the items has the same pattern every time, so the more you play, the faster you actually get. Nice touch! I lost it when a guy came up smiling wanted to buy three dildos insisting on calling them "blue candles", haha. Really solid entry, would have loved some muzak in the background though.

@siridakis, You are right, it sounds a lot like that certain movie. But it wasn't intentional. When I noticed, I just felt like it was funny, to have that agent feel, digging your own nose :) I'm sure this is fine according to LD rules and copyright. It's only three notes that are the same. But boy, they are set in stone for that franchise!

I liked everything about this game, except the car handling. With smoother controls this would be a great game. The game has a great mood, it really feels like a junkyard. And nice addition that cras get older over time. Good job!
Nice game! I liked the graphics, colorful with thick outlines. I enjoyed the gameplay, smooth controls. But a little difficult when the colors are switching every hit. I felt like I wanted to eat a lot of shapes on a path, but couldn't because they were switching. But that's just part of the game. Funny Menu Screen! Good job!
I loved it! Especially the rusty spoons. I got 88000 points, is that good? I liked the references to Saladfingers. Just be careful when making an homage to another brand, that it looks a lot different, so it will not be a copy of the design. In-game it was not a problem, but your cover looks a lot like the real Saladfingers. Overall nice game, fun sfx and music!

@john-harper @dhim Haha, nice spotted. It's actullay a mistake that I didn't remove the collision box on that button. So it's actually possible to push the DIVE button off screen and not be able to start the game. Oops, my bad!

Good job on your first LD compo. Feel proud for finishing and take in all the feedback, and come back stronger for the next jam! I liked that you kept the gameplay easy. Then when you get more comfortable with coding, you can expand on the level design. I felt the jumps needed a little more gravity, and I didnt like so much the glitchy sound in the music. But all in all, nice first entry!
79 hits. The physics of the ball and elements are so nicely balanced. It feels like golfing. Easy to understand the different elements. The best part is that you decided to let the player go through all the holes and just add up the strokes, instead of having to beat each level within par of that hole. Good idea to let the player progress instead of failing / restarting, over and over. Great game!

Our games are very similar :) Maybe thats why I could get past the 1k mark, I had practice! I really like the controls and the look of the game. Only thing I would change is, The submarine is very low on screen, so you have very short time to steer around the mines. Great game, and for your first LD, I find your game very polished, good job!

Great game! I like the gameplay and it's nice with the icons travelling to give a visual overview of whats happening. The nature disasters were a great element and funny to watch destroying the village. Good job!
Great game! I actually want to play this again and again. And it feels like real trading too. You can make short investments for low safe profit, or you can go for a long run, with the risk of going down. Very fun game indeed! Good job!
Nice game. The physics worked well. And I liked the timer adding up when you go above the bar. Nice touch with the background animations. I feel like there was no need to use right click for dropping. I kept finding myself leftclicking to try and drop things. I think that would have been more intuitive. Otherwise great "unstable" game!
I love this kind of dice placement games. Are you perhaps inspired by the dice game "Clever"? Knowing these kind of games I found it quite easy to understand most of the rules. It was fun, trying to maximize the car. Good game!

Great game! Loved the artwork, clean, retro and consistent. I didn't feel that the guitar music added to the nuclear powerplant theme though. Great idea, and well executed! The controls and physics worked well, and nice touch that you can aim the cannon tower. I think a little perspective instead of orthographic view would have looked nice. The windmill and cannon tower 3D icon models in the menu are transparent, looks weird that you can see the wings on the backside of the mill. Other than that, great entry, and really fun to play!
