Interesting spin on standard RPG story. Unexpected turns in the story were cool, though the first time I played I thought I maybe shouldn't fight in the first battle (going by the dialogue before it), but just got a game over after guarding for ages (:
Cool concept, movement of the cursors was a bit difficult for me to control, but overall nice little game. Not sure why we were destroying pacman at the end though! (:
Played for a while even though it is quite simple -- the core shooting & moving has a good feel to it. Sometimes felt cheated that I couldn't move fast enough to get from one end of the screen to the other to shoot viruses that appeared on opposite ends right after each other, but only because I wanted to keep a perfect run going!
Took a while to understand the rules, but enjoyed playing a few games and think I 'won' but the game still keeps going with the other player taking turns, seemingly doing nothing, until everything disappears; but maybe that's the idea (:
Nice idea! didn't feel like I could do much to bring people back once they started to leave (maybe you could have multiple controls for speakers at different areas of the party or something?). Having programmatically generated art is cool, makes them all unique.
Digging really satisfying feel and good style, felt like a pacifist Nuclear Throne. Frustrated by the instant death a few times, would be good to have some opportunity to get away, but did make it pretty tense by the end! enojoyed it a lot, thanks!
nice game, liked the balance of having to build out the branches and roots at the same time. Several times there didn't seem to be a reason for me losing, my tree looked great! so maybe some sort of visual indicator of when things were going badly would be useful?
Like the idea, can see the potential with the features mentioned, would check out a post-jam version. Context-sensitive actions would have been nice rather than having to choose from the menu, but maybe more options were planned! Really like the motion of the water, adds a lot to the style.
thought it would be impossible for me, but did seem to learn/guess enough of the phonetics eventually to be able to get a few correct! nice [: maybe could show the meaning of the word after?
Liked the concept, but had a few bugs, torch clipped through the floor a couple times, and I couldn't figure out how to fill the room with water, the valve didn't seem to turn. Looks nice, wanted to play more just couldn't!
nice, simple but kept me engaged enough until the end (:open_mouth:)
nice idea of a command line tower defense, had trouble placing some objects with it saying 'bad spot' and wasn't exactly sure why, maybe a bug? Like the idea of naming the object and using that again to upgrade/move them, if there was a command to get a list of enemy coordinates etc maybe it could be played entirely on the command line [:
