Woot! I got a new best time for my last try of the night, updated above!

Post your splits here when you play!

jorbits 2017-04-25 07:34

With my first try I had like 4 min, but at the beginning I was just klicking random letters. Here is my second try:

Whoa! You made a game about balls, I made a game about balls! I played your game about balls! Nice idea and well executed. One thing I'd like was a bit more feedback when I fail, at one point I started just clicking random letters, didn't feel like I was losing :)

Dang @jorbits, you're fast. My second try was 4:23.980

mikeware 2017-04-25 09:03

@jorbits that's going to be hard to beat!

@dusted I'll have to check yours out. It was in my mind about the feedback. I'd probably add sounds in the future for that.

Nice fun game. A leaderboard would be nice. And like @dusted said, it is sometimes hard to notice when you failed. Even just adding a simple sound would be good to let the player know. That way you don't break up the playing.

Nice simple game. I like the idea. In the beginning I was a bit confused about what to do but after a while I got the hang of it. I think a little more feedback on errors would have been nice :)

Surprisingly addictive!

anubhav-kashyap 2017-05-19 17:05

Really addictive and nice. I really liked it!

Nice idea - very unusual. And challenging too. Throw in some audio feedback for errors and you'd have a solid game there.

I really like games like this, and you made a really nice version of it. I love how the graphics move around each other. It's good you start easy, and add more and more icons. It makes the game very easy to understand. Would have been nice with music and sfx. Great job!

This is not really a puzzle as there are no deductive logic problems to solve, in fact it's not even a game as there are no inductive logic problems to solve either. I'd call it a *pattern matching challenge*, plain and simple. **Nitpick end**

I like it. I'm not very good at it all things considered, but that just means there's room for self improvement. I wager you could use these kind of challenges to rehabilitate patients (of some ailment, not sure what exactly). *Health tech*... Hmm, there's money in that right?

Anyways, good work!

This seems like one of those tests you take to check if you'd make a good astronaut. It gets really cognitively challenging at the later levels. It took me 10 minutes to get me through this and I spent more than half of the time (6m 22s) on the last 4 stages.

It's tough, but there is also that "Ah! Now I see it!" feeling when you "solve" a level.

(Hope you manage to get over the magical threshold)

glitchy-pixel 2017-05-19 21:16

With these kinds of game I'm never going to beat the best time ever xD.

My best time was this (admittedly after two tries, nothing more): Level 1-3: 00:00:05.711 Level 4-7: 00:00:28.216 Level 8-11: 00:01:17.007 Level 12-16: 00:02:29.451 Total Time: 00:04:20.385 Best Time: 00:04:20.385

It was a fun distraction. Not very fond of these games, but that's because I tend to get a little anxious with these things (similor to spot the differneces... yeah I don't know why, may impatience)

I got to appreciate a lot the small spehere rotating with all the symbols, it was enjoyable. Too bad thare was no audia, any kind of audio feedback when you clicked (or got the wrong sybmol) would have made it so much better.

However, I did like it, and I am glad I played it!

This is a really cool little matching game with a compelling visual style. The only criticism I have is it's difficult to tell whether your choice was correct or incorrect without glancing over at the, pretty spartan, UI.

Thanks everyone for playing my game! I was happy I had enough time to get it to the state is in now. It was a busy life filled weekend last month.

Audio was probably next on the list, but I'll probably plan to get back to this at some point in the future. I haven't done a lot of web audio before, so that's why I've always left it to the end and cut it. :( Recommendations would be great for libraries/tutorials anyone's used in the past.
