Works perfect (and with sound) on Archlinux, I like the funky controls and how you've put this together! :)

That boot screen! :D I'm going to give this a shot later again, but for now, I'm stuck! :D
Unfortunately, I'm getting the out of memory error at the hacker bbs screen :( What I've played so far is übercool, I hope there'll be a patch ^_^
Must admit I was skeptical about the game play, but the graphics appealed to me. I tried it out, and it's intriguing! Very nice game indeed! The mood is just right, and the gameplay is interesting!
This fits the bill perfectly for https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/bounceball/call-for-technological-oddities
Your game is listed here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/bounceball/call-for-technological-oddities I'm impressed with this in more than one way. I've played far worse commercial titles on the NES.. The gravity stuff is novel on that platform I think, and it's a nice use of the theme.
Cool! :D This is mentioned on the https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/bounceball/call-for-technological-oddities I enjoyed playing it!
Cool game:) Worked well with my Logitech Rumblepad 2 :) A tiny bit too small on my screen (at native res) :D
Sorry dude, hangs on loading screen (becomes unresponsive, displays 1/7) Love the graphics! Your binary is really small, what did you use for making it ?
Couldn't run it in wine, but looks nice!
Mind blown! :D This is awesome!
That's frustrating and quite fun, I think the controls could use a slight tweaking, takes about 250 ms before it reacts. Nice idea well executed!
Whoa! You made a game about balls, I made a game about balls! I played your game about balls! Nice idea and well executed. One thing I'd like was a bit more feedback when I fail, at one point I started just clicking random letters, didn't feel like I was losing :)
I like the oldschool look of this and the nice mechanics of cookie-clicker/resource-management games :D Definitely something like catastrophic failure in some events would add to the experience :)
Super cool! Thanks for doing the writeup as well, fun read! Works nice on FCEUX 2.2.3 My highscore: 650 on first try :D This has been added to https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/bounceball/call-for-technological-oddities ;)
@richard-michael-smith haha, awesome! I'm just glad it's not segfaulting at that resolution! :) I usually run highres displays, but I'm not at home, so I have the little tiny laptop :D I knew this would happen, because things are not scaled, but I thought I'd leave it in as a lesson: Life is unfair ;) Better screen = Easier game. But, the speed should keep increasing, eventually making it very difficult :D
I think I'm going to make a polished version of this game at some point, when I do, the balls will be scaled according to difficulty, not screen-resolution, so, on easy, balls will fill up relatively as much on a 4k and a 720p. One thing I'm going to need to figure out is how to handle different aspects, I'd rather that the game plays the same for all players, so there's a basis for comparison :)
Yeah okay, I just played it on a 2560x1600 px display, not so fun.. :(
