Sweet! Graphix and musix is very very good with supertight controls. I had to try three times before making it past the big telly. Good!

Nice job! Soo hard to see, but that's the challenge. A unique and nice game. Good job!
Cool little experiment. Maybe, make the window follow the player when moving?
This amazed me. The overall best game I played so far. An excellent take on the theme, beautiful graphics, just the right challenge and a rewarding ending. Masterpiece!
I do like a good labyrinth! Great implementation. I could see myself passing time with this.
Brilliant! Always wondered what it'd be like flipping. Fun game.
I feel like a monster killing all those innocent smiling things. Interessting controls that works well, solid challenge and gameplay. Looks alright! Good job. Didn't lag for me.
Seriously adorable in all channels. Pas mal!
One of the best! Such an incredible level of polish! The music is great! Excellent control and platforming. I'm not 100% with the wall jumping, but I never am in any game. Grrreeeat! :')
Good first attempt. :)
Nice lookingwith good music. Lovely environment. A bit slow at first but it gets better. And unlike mine, it's a real game. Thumbs up!
The is the first time I play anything like this. I've never been big on text adventures. This somehow felt involving to play, and triggered my imagination (I played the first round without reading the description). A truly great way to move beyond the screen. Great.
The canvas was too big for my screen too, but a zoom out did the trick.
Thank you for your comment! :) Time is the enemy in a jam like this. ^_-
Thank you for your comments! :D
I noticed the effects in the game freaks out if the game runs without v-sync, so, use v-sync (in your gfx-driver settings) until I fix it in some eventual future update.
Thank you for all the comments! :D
@Crefossus Cool!
The enemy, the Eel, was a last minute resort. I had planned lots of smaller enemies, maybe even human counter forces and interactive level design. But ya know, time and excuses. I will tidy up the code and see if I can get a better version soon.
Funny goblins. :D A pretty nice clicker. Perfect length for a ludum game.
It looks great and there's a lot of details. And it actually worked first try under ubuntu 14. A well made game.
Nice and puzzling game. It feels a bit like a brain trainer where you're asked to solve a 3D-puzzle. Took me a few tries before I got the hang of it. Nicely done.
Those tiny sprites are nice looking and that fractal is a cool idea for a stage. I think you can make a great game if you keep working on it. With respect from a fellow gl-programmer.
Very oldschool and precise, and hard. I like it.
Sorry, can't get it to work in Linux. Is the Linux-download right? I get regular exe with dlls. ;)
Worked in Wine anyways.
The music is perfect for this type of game, and I like it. Short perhaps, but it's a jam duh, and if you listen to Bubble Bobble and other arcade songs, they're not much longer. xD
The core game idea is cool. Like many other games here it's very slow first then super hectic. Still a great game.
Maybe if you make the pad go around in a circle it will be better? I don't like that the different pad states is differently sized. It makes it very hard to tell where to be, like playing with a bent club or tennis racket.
I think it could be a great game with some polish. Good Job!
Beautiful art! I didn't understand the game too well tho.
Wow, a micro-katatmari. Nice idea and good graphics. Surprisingly tricky. I like it.
MY ARM!!! :O Some of us aren't used to this jerky kind of motion... ^_^ Still, a very cool and good looking/sounding game. Clever! Never playing again, and I hate that lazy bum of a hero, but satisfying in the end, and I probably burned a calorie.
Simple and fun with pretty colors. I love the ladybug and the other sprites. Very cute.
It's good game. I like the idea of the ricochets, makes you plan your shots more carefully. I like clever start screens too. :)
Beautiful art and a very effective atmosphere.
I'm impressed! It plays very well and the idea is genius. Kept me playing for a while.
Cute pingus! Lethal poop was the only "innovation" I could find really, but since it's shiny and fun to play I don't mind.
The control display where you can try the car out is great, all games should do this! Physics is nice when you learn to slide, and it's fun trying to win. I found it easiest to just avoid the enemies an let the beat each other out. The powerups saved me a couple of times. Sweet!
Oh wow, very cool. Plays very well. Good job.
Yes, I thought of QWOP as well. It's like snake on Nokia 3310, except every other direction, you must press the opposite. Very tricky! :) Nice!
Capsule enemies attack! It still manages to look good despite the simple shapes. Not the most original idea but solid execution. Thank god for the speed up, I have other games to play ;), TD is something I used to play in school to pass time. Over all it's pretty good for a 48h. Good job.
Dual wielding, yay! Gameplay is a little on the slow side I feel, but still very hard. The grenade is incredibly hard to use when hunted by a pack. Graphics and collision works fine tho. Still better than my own game. Good job!
Wow. The best spam filter!
@KadaDev
The GL API part is not that hard, software rendering would be the hard part. Everything is drawn by setting values in an array of pixels with code running on the CPU, instead of instructing the graphics card to do it via DX/GL.
However, since there are only flat colored triangles, no color or uv interpolation, it's really not that hard to do. It took me about two hours at the start of the jam to get "hello triangle" out on screen.
If you you're interested in knowing how it works, there is a function named "fill_poly" in the src file draw.c.
Thanks everyone for your trying the game. :D
"Why, god, why is this camera at the center of the arena ?"
"An why does my bullet have the same color than the floor ?"
-Because it's made in 48h. ;) I could move the camera or make the bullets pop out more, and more, it would take 5 minutes. But at the time of the deadline, I was focused on things like just getting the bullets to work in the first place.
This is incredible.
Wicked. Great music, detailed classroom, nice idea. Would have liked to turn inverted y-axis on. I got the controls immediately bc. I've played flight games, even made them, but what to do next was not 'obvious' and took me many crashes to figure out (despite reading the on screen text.)
But overall a very good entry.
OK for a first attempt. :D Incredibly tiresome audio, since you can only hold down the button to fire constantly at a fixed rate. xD The enemies (some at least) take too long to kill with no differentiation in appearance (you can figure it out by their speed tho, but dang, it's hard in the chaos when you try to find a way out. Graphics and collision works properly so that's good. :)
I do like it. This was just good, clean, decent fun. 8) Character physics could be improved, at first, I found myself jumping way too high and dying with no way to stop it (by releasing the jump button, which has been an established jump mechanic standard since 1985). But it's compo entry, so you're forgiven. And it does make the game a little more challenging. Music is great. Well done.
Good art, tho I'm not sure what I'm looking at (mecha-schimps-in-water but then there are trees... ah, must be an aquarium.) The music and sound design is coherent with the graphics, it's one of the few % of games here that has a clear art direction/stylization going for it, and I appreciate that.
