Thanks for your feedback.
Zombie didn't die in 1 shot because some zombie are stronger and move faster. Next time if I have time, I should use different graphic or color
Nice idea and theme! I really likes it and was pretty fun
I'm a little embarrassed, I tried the web version and kept clicking to shoot, but nothing happened. So naturally since my web version was buggy/weird I assumed that was the issue here too. So I downloaded it and still couldn't get it to shoot! So naturally (being another Godot user) I downloaded the source to make sure the shoot key was bound! It was, so then I looked through the code to try and debug why I couldn't shoot and everything seemed fine! Then for some reason I decided to hold the shoot button down... and it started shooting! lmao
Moving on from that... this is a good start for a beginner! Some advice from Godot user to Godot user: you should work on this a little longer (post-ldjam) to learn more about the engine! A good place to start would be to look into the Navigation node so you can add pathfinding to the zombies, to make them run into walls less.
OK for a first attempt. :D Incredibly tiresome audio, since you can only hold down the button to fire constantly at a fixed rate. xD The enemies (some at least) take too long to kill with no differentiation in appearance (you can figure it out by their speed tho, but dang, it's hard in the chaos when you try to find a way out. Graphics and collision works properly so that's good. :)
Can you actually escape? It looks like there are exits, but you can't go through them.
The player movement and shooting felt pretty good, which made this reasonably fun! The shooting sound got annoying quickly, and it would have been nice if there was some way to tell the stronger zombies from the weaker ones. Maybe if they were scaled up?
Nice little game. I think that if you're going to have a delay on when the mouse button is pushed to when the bullets actually fire, you need to show this in some way on the screen. I spent the first play through clicking rampantly to no avail. A charge bar or something that just shows that the mouse click registered something in the game is crucial. Otherwise, any new play might think they are having issues with their mouse connection.
Otherwise, good work. The game feels very fluid, which I enjoy.
The shooting was not working all the times.
But good game, you should keep working on it, and add more content.
Error thrown, see javascript console.
wtf
The Left Mouse button to shoot seems not working. Anyway, good try on the game development :)

Thanks. I actually don't expect ppl to click.
I have revised the description so hopefully ppl know to press instead of clicks. I will consider post-jam to fix the craps and more contents. Thanks everyone for feedback
@erik, Nope for this jam. It's dining room for Zombies
@buckle2000, I also found the same issue on some browsers, which seems related to cache. It was able to run in my Chrome. If you are not able to run it in browser, please try the Windows version. Thanks
Could not play, mouse just does not react.
