I just feel like it lacks of feedback. Like what ingredients are on top of the bug/patty.
And i found myself trying to search for the ingredients keys on my keyboard. Mabe they should be next to each other (like 0123456789). I'm just throwing ideas.
There is a lot of ingredients, and that makes the game pretty hard =p.
I think it doesn't lack very much to be very enjoyable =).

I'm going to try to answere to some of what you said:
-TijmenTio, here is how balancing work: I spawn a number of ennemies based on the difficulty you reached (1 to 6). Each ennemi has an equal chance to appear. But whenever it's a rabbit, the game spawn two of them (because they suck). Also, rabbits can't drop beer.
-Flayk, i could totally imagine more machanics to this game ^^ , but i'm in a programming school and it's very time consumming.
-Phil Strahl and Cliff Lee(CL), yeah, replacing bullets by radishes doesn't change very much the gameplay =s.
When i saw the theme, i imediatly thought about isaac shooting tears at his ennemis, getting power ups that made his tears stronger ("cancer. yay!"). I Always wanted to make an arena based top shooter. So i jumped on the occasion.
Also, this is my first jam entry. I decided to do something i was comfortable with.
Thanks to all your great comments, i leveled up in selfconfidence and i promise i will put myself more in danger next time ! =)
Once again, thank you all. I barely slept for 48 hours, I even had my girlfriend feeding me. I was sooo tired at the end, i almost abandonned the sound effects (but the game needed some feedback. It was absolutly necessary on the reload in my opinion).

if I understood properly, this is sort of a rock paper cissors mixed with some kind of pong.
You should clarry what "word" beats what other "word". Or provide something to identify them more easily (mabe different shapes or colours).

And I love how the menu teaches you how to play the game. I mean, the menu is your fucking tutorial. That's genius!
I think it's juuuuuust a bit too hard.
Mabe you should start slowly and progressively throw more and more asteroids.

It's not an actual game, and i didn't have tons of fun "playing" it, but i can see that was not the point.

you know, during these jams i'm always focusing on visual experience and appealing gameplay for my games. Yours is so simple, so elegant, so... strong in a way... Today i learned a lesson from you sir. Thank you.
i was in the 4rth main world, then i was killed by fire and a bug occured where i died as soon as i respawned again and again. Frustrating... =(. (also, the double jump on the bunny sometimes doesn't work. I think it's when you double jump too fast... mabe... That was a bit frustrating aswell).

Great work! Good ideas and good execution.
The only thing that bothered me was the scrolling. 75% of the screen is behind your character so you don't see what's ahead and you must learn the layout of the level.
But other than that, it was a really enjoyable entry. A lot of fun =)

So yea, the difficulty ramps up. I edited my description to make it clear.
Also, yes it is reminiscent of Super Crate Box. It makes sens since I'm a huge fan of Vlambeer's work (especially with Nucelar Throne). But then again, aren't all platformers reminiscent of Super Mario Bors.?! ;)
