The concept is nice, and the theme fits well (liking and RTing as controllers). You succeeded in thinking outside the box.
The downside, that made me not play your game (and, for the sake of honesty, don't rate it) is cause, in practical ways, it's a flood game. RTing these posts may annoy my followers.
But the idea is good.
Maybe this could become an Facebook game, with private transactions (when I say "private" I mean "transactions not being thrown as timeline status or notifications").
Tried to run, but something here don't let me play.
What it's a pity, cause the idea is good and I wanted to try it.
About you throwing the towel, dude, don't be sad.
At least you did something.
Take your time, polish this idea, it may be something great later.
Nice one
It just lacks a little of interactivity. I mean, no matter the answers you give, the ending is the same. The player choices worth nothing.
But the story is fun ^^
One of the best I've seen so far. The controls are fluid, the movements are fluid too. Don't looks like a 3 day made game.
On a side note, just read your names and realized you're fellow Brazilians. And on my game page I was trying to explain what "Junim" means hahahaha
Good work!
- Don't you worry, my men! As long as I am the King, no hazard shall block my way! I'll stand proud on the finish line!
- Yes, my liege! I can't wait to see this moment of glory!
- Erhmm... since you've mentioned this... erhmmmmm... well, yes, you can dream about it! Yes! '^^
Awesome!
My only critics are: the music, a bit repetitive; the obstacles, that seems to have no effect at all; the camera view you can only change at the beginning.
But, overall, damn, you made a multiplayer multicamera racing game! We can play like a simulator or like RRR. Very impressive job!
Also, I found the game kinda cute.
If was me making it, I'd embrace the "cute" style and put babies piloting, giving some baby giggles sometimes ^^
I found a way to beat your game.
If my penis is growing cause I'm a Jedi, then I just became a Sith!
Good thing, my penis shrunk.
Bad thing, I'm an eunuch now.
Doesn't matter, had Force.
LEAVE STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORM!!11
I think the rising number of missiles makes the game more easier over time.
I mean, instead of more danger to block, spending serum, you actually have more combo source. It would be better balancing the serum use or nerfin the combo a little, then the difficulty would be increased.
But I know , sometimes this kind of polishing is something hard to do with the Dare limited time... =)
Keep up the good work! =)
The concept is awesome, but I think it needs a few tweaks.
The main problem, to me, is that minigame - it's fun at the start, but when the number of different items increase, the item you want takes too long to come and it gets waaay boring.
My suggestion is reducing the item scope to just the ones from the past level (example, on the teen level, only dolls, cars, videogames and books appear, the baby bottles are ditched).
Overall, nice idea. =)
It needs a few tweaks on controls and physics (and on the music, plz)
But, dude...
...you made an Super Smash Bros in 3 days!
Seriously. I just discovered that channel called "Extra Credits" on Youtube, saw them first on the Unity site. In on of the videos, they talk about "minimum viable product".
Your game is a little above of "minimum" accordingly with their idea, but, that's it, your game is that game's core.
If you want to see it...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvCri1tqIxQ
The game runs very smoothly and is fun hear the little guys burn haha.
I let them gather enough resources to be able to burn'em all. Then the new workers resume the work.
I'm so sadistic... :v
Whoa, this is hardcore!
I like the fact that the game is hard, but not punitive. You have to land on the light bean, but not thaaaat precisely on in, so it's not impossible even when you dash to the spot.
Funny game
But I'd never let my cat do this in real life haha
You approach on the theme was fanTIEstic!
Nice one.
I was so sorry for the kid, who had headaches and the candy are actually pills...
...that I kinda liked the ending.
I second what the people said about the difficulty.
Also, let me add that there's times when you know you'll fail - when the car changes lane a bit of a second after you pass. This way, if you stays in your lane waiting it to move, you crash. If you try to get pass, it changes lane and you crash.
Add this to the fact that one crash means a fail and you can't restart, and then you'll have a sad Muel giving up on lvl 10 =(
But, overall, the game is fun.
In the lack of music, I got my own, I think it fits perfectly xD
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4h5v2zat9I
The post jam version looks good!
Now it's still challenging, but less punitive
Beat the game after 54 days.
Poor Samantha...
...but if she had tried Speecher she would had fun.
Ya know, I really don't like christmas. I mean, it was too many years seeing the same things: Santa, those bell sounds, the same musics...
But your game IS nice. The ingame music featured the little chimes and the "stage clear" music had a bit of a traditional season music, but it felt original and well made.
From something old and cliché that I'm fed up, you made something new and good.
The other game OST that achieved this was Ragnarok Online. That game approaches christmas like this too, taking some of the old stuff and mixing with something new that goes well together.
Nice job, grats!
If playable, would be awesome.
The graphics and the idea seems good.
You used the theme in a very original way! Congrats!
Your idea is awesome! So sorry to know you lost data on the final run =/ This game could have been even better.
But you had an great approach on the theme. I wish I had this creativity.
It's a nice game to continue working on it =)
Awesome! For something made in 72 hours, the gameplay is neat.
The controls just need to get used to, kinda tricky, but overall I liked it.
So, about that bug, the season pass is already on the preorder?
People, don't get me wrong but...
Before I play, I wish I could know: is there some sort of screamer or jumpscare on this game?
This graphs are too good, so if the game got some of these, it will look very realistic.
I'm really really not into this style of scaring... ><
So much Atari nostalgia =)
Cuteness overload here.
Nice concept.
You use the same life energy to grow and feed the lice.
It's the balance between having some to live with and some to give. Give too much and you die. Give too few and you don't score.
You must be some very experienced game dev. It's too awesome stuff to be made in 3 days.
Well done!
Reminds me of the co-op mode of Portal that I never convinced my friends to play with me ;-;
I'd change only the color scheme, add more contrast between level and background.
GOTTA GO F... ahem...
Nice work =)
The graphics are well done, and the hook mechanic too. Also, I really liked the "jump and become a ball" touch ^^
Gostei.
I like the humor. Death to all humans hahahaha.
Someone go get John Connor! It has begun!
Can't play it =(
Everytime I die, the game freezes. There's not how to try again unless reloading the page and viewing the intro again.
Looking forward to be able to play. I'm really curious to find out what that truth is.
Now I want a kek hat hahaha
This art.
Ooooh, this art.
The music gives the "special agent mission" feel to the game.
The cell is infiltrating, using ability and strenght to kill the heart.
Just one thing I didn't like was the controls. Each space tap change directions. So, there's times you must go a little on the wrong way to go in the right. It's kinda confusing.
Nice job overall =)
The mood was so great!
I like the presentation, the music, the quotes and even those little dragon balls ^^
Maybe I can ressurect my black hole with those, right? ^^
How I felt playing this game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdwC4vhc594
"You must defeat beard long to stand a chance"
I laughed sooo hard hahahahaha
It's a very funny game, it's worth for the laughs. Also, very tight controls and the difficulty is well ajusted - you mash buttons, but not with insane speed that ruin your keyboard or your wrists.
The only thing I would change is the shake screen effect on the growth stages, it gets kinda annoying to see. Maybe it would be better a sound response.
Something like "BEARD GROWT WAAAAAAARGGHH!!1" xD
I spent my first 2 minutes of gameplay laughing on the music! So epic hahaha!
Can't play =(
Waiting for a Win release.
Unplayable =(
Try drinking MORE liquid.
Looking forward to play your game.
Can't run =(
Something weird on my machine. I open the game, but it doesn't load. Just keep waiting forever...
What kind of mail company makes a poor human being deliver mail on a no-sidewalk street with heavy traffic? xD
Fun game, good work ^^
It's like Frogger, with a twist.
Ya know, I really don't like christmas. I mean, it was too many years seeing the same things: Santa, those bell sounds, the same musics...
But your game IS nice. The ingame music featured the little chimes and the "stage clear" music had a bit of a traditional season music, but it felt original and well made.

The other game OST that achieved this was Ragnarok Online. That game approaches christmas like this too, taking some of the old stuff and mixing with something new that goes well together.
Nice job, grats!
WHOA SORRY, I just commented on the wrong game hahahahahahahahahahahaha
I'm so dumb xD
I was playing another game and reviewed on your page. I was playing while yours loads.
I'll play and review it, then I'll drop by.
Now commenting about the right game
Another one with mouth sound and music.
It's so damn funny! I ROFL evrytiem xD
Whoa whoa whoa who put Satan's snowmen on this game?!
Well, it's a good game, my only concern was the controls. The bonfire button was a bit buggy for me, as it is active all times. As soon as I pick a log, I put a fire. But I don't know if it's a problem on my end.
But other thing that really blew the gameplay it's the 360º limited mouse rotation. If I reach one complete turn, I have to turn to the other side, and not continue turning on the same side like any FPS I'm used to play.
But, overall, is a good game and, damn, those snowman are scary!
That was so cute =)
I wish world was so simple.
Like other people said, music was not that good.
What I did, actually, was mute the game tab and then play listening to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zLfCnGVeL4
Fits perfectly hahahaha!
I managed to reach level 10 =)
The faces of the thingy you control are so cute ^^
Good work in such short time.
The intros are a plus
Liked it. It's quite a challenge.
I died on the boss at the end, so in my second play I tried to save all the bullets I can for him.
You didn't gave a name to him, so I named him Demonitri. xD
He's sure tough. Can't beat him with melee weapons.
I also noticed that the game have nothing to do with either theme, but then I saw you opted out the "Theme" voting. Oh, well...
WHOA! This one is awesome!
Graphics are great, music are fitting, controls are tight.
Nice work!
It's sure challenging.
Good work.
I like how you got into the theme but added some more control. You can move, you can dash, but there are still only two buttons, right? =)
Thanks, people, for the comments =)
It's funny when you all are talking about the art. I mean, drawing is not my strongest skill. Since I was all alone making the game and had to do everything, art and programming, I tried to do my best but I was expecting something like "Well, that's it, I've made art. At least the game have art now". So, it's kinda surprising for me when I see the art stealing the scene.
But hey, I'm not complaining, it's a happy surprise! Thank ya all.
@kernel panic
I was sure that the score was displaying when I last tested the game before building.
I'll try and fix this. This and the "sticky" trash cans.
I also wasn't able to show the final score on the Game Over screen, but, for the sake of honesty with the Dare rules, I'll leave as is. If I have to put this, I'll have to study and research to code it (I'm very much a beginner), and this would be like adding a feature. I'll just fix what the game already had when I submitted.
Thanks for pointing this =)
An update: I knew the score was on the original build haha.
Something weird is going on the Newgrounds embed, and a small portion of the upper edge of the canvas is sliced.
I was trying to fix it messing with the resolution on NG, still no sucess, BUT if you play in fullscreen, you'll see the score =)
@DrZanuff The name "Junim" is one form of saying "Juninho". It means like "Little Junior" ^^
Thanks for the review, and all praise our savior, who died to save us all... many times!
@Xanjos
The post-ludum versoin have it now =)
Cute game! =)
This game host is so bad that I should host this thing...
...oh wait, I AM the host! =O
Good game, comrade!
Mother homeland is proud of you.
Some may say your game lack sounds. Well, there's no sound on space so it's accurate hahahah
Ya know what is one of my biggest pleasures in playing a game? A large field of collectibles. Like a lot of rings in Sonic or a field of coins in Mario.
It's like eating an ice cream with chocolate chips, and then you get one spoon and it comes with a lot of concentrated choco chips and you munch it all at once.
Playing your game felt that good.
Good game. I just agree with a lack of directions about how the game mechanics work. I kept dying without knowing why.
About the context, as a fellow brazilian, I think this game should be shared everywhere to raise awareness. I suggest posting it on the "Free Internet Movement" page - but I think you already did this.
The context, for those outside Brazil, is this: the ISPs wants to put a monthly download limit on home connexion. When you reach this limit, your bandwidth will be drastically lowered or even cut off until next month. And they're willing to offer 130GB on the most abusive expensive option. All this with the approval of the regulation agencies.
This is why we're so pissed off.
The multiplayer concept is awesome!
Nice approach on the theme.
Some explanation on the forms would be nice, but I kinda figured it all playing.
Good job =)
RISE FROM YOUR FACE!!!1
Hahaha, this game is gold!
I played it with the song of the original one playing on my head.
I liked how they get a derpy drooling face when you take control of them hahaha
Thanks for the kind reviews, people.
Honestly, it was just a venting, I didn't want to stay out of LD but my problems were too strong this time.
I didn't expect anyone would care but, well, you're here, sharing opinions. It made me feel better.
I'm still fighting. Therapy, one step today, avoiding step back tomorrow...
In time, I'll be able to real call myself a game developer and make something good.
Until there, the fight goes on.
Thanks again =)
Nicely done!
I liked the idea of battle royale.
The only thing I'd change is the cat shotgun. It only shoots towards you moving, but by default you're facing always the sides. It makes hard to fight a wave that comes from up or below, cause you have to move to shoot them.
Overall, nice game =)
(Someday I'll find out why I made a game where boots fall from a dinner table)
Thanks a lot for all the kind reviews, people =)
Actually, it's a bit better than I expected for a game that gave me a few buckets of frustration. (Why? "post-ludum" post coming soon).
@UltraRat Kitty says "ME DONT GOT POOR GRAMMAR, ME GOT CUTE GRAMMAR ^_^"
@TheMightyTeam Actually, he used to jump. But I took this ability away to enphase more the "avoider" style of the game. Or maybe to don't trivialize the game (more). I had little time to iterate xD
@tonynogo Kitty says "YUMMIES ARE DA BEST"
@jsmars I totally agree with you. I wanted to do everything on pixel art, but I take longer to make. And I was running out of time.
I plan to improve this little game (someday...) and one of the things I plan to do is redo the background in pixel art so the style get consistent.
Kitty says "TX U UR PRETTY TOO!"
@CliffracerX You're right. While the cat have two states, idle and running, his actual movement is based on forces. I guess it makes it odd in the end.
The food speed is result of the few iterations I got time to do. Actually, I was planning to add a speed up feature. But.. time, time...
Kitty says "IM NOT ON ICE, IM TRAINING TO MOONWALK. IM MJ E-HEEH!"
@Recursiveanomaly Yeah, these were some of ideas I scrapped cause I was running out of time. I was planning to add a speed up feature based on points, I was in doubt about making mandatory catching the good food (like, if you let it fall, you lose points). The catnip idea is great, thanks! ^^
Kitty says "UR CUTE TOO <3"
@Chaoslab Kitty says "TX U <3 UR CUTE TOO"
@Jupiter_Hadley Saw the video. You just made my day... =)
Kitty says: "MINE TOO!"
Again, thank you all =)
I died to the kitteh army.
Many times.
1337/10 would die again
I spent about 15 min playing this. It's really fun and well executed. Can't see any flaw.
Whoa, an ACTUAL gameboy game!
Congrats, you rocked.
Nice take on the theme.
Actually, can't say that is not an inovation haha.
So far, the funniest I've played.
Room for improvement: mouse sensibility adjusting. I had to move the mouse past my mouse pad area, and I only was able to fully enjoy the game when I put the pad aside.
The comments from the little dudes are hilarious, specially the "Obamacare" and "Attack on Titan" ones hahaha
Awesome job!
This is the kind of game I wish I could make. Like said above, I like the thing you can fly your ship and actually land on the planets. Awesome job!
I just have a few comments about some improvement room:
- The fuel mechanic would be more fun if based on usage instead of time. This way, instead of rushing planets to collect resources like "OMG fly fly fly need pellets OMG I'm gonna lose", it would be more about planning the trip, like "Maybe if I can make it to that planet, I can collect some rad resources. But I have fuel to make the trip? Can I reach a planet that trades it before I get stranded in space?" - Sometimes the missle hits our ship and the explosion sprite doesn't let me see the ship anymore ><
Overall, great job! I wish someday I can reach your skill level.
The overall game layout looks so much like Pressure Cooker from the Atari 2600. Oh, the nostalgia! =)
There's room for improvement: playing with two players at minimum and the 2nd being on the gamepad almost made me not be able to test the game at all. What if I didn't had a gamepad? '-' And, if player 2 doesn't join, the game does not start.
My suggestion: an "against the clock" single player mode - just keep serving food until time runs out and try to score high. And alternative keyboard controls for 2nd player.
Overall, the game is good, the controls are tight, the graphs are nice and it's fun. =)
I liked it =)
Like @lord-byte said, it would be nice, as a game that like more as a puzzle, reduce a little the randomness factor. But it's fun, I had some good time playing.
Noooo I burned teh baby ><
I liked the mechanics of the machine malfunctioning, it was a surprising increase on the difficulty.
It's like Paperboy from Master System! =D Oh, the nostalgia! I liked to play it from behind camera perspective.
