Hello everyone! Thanks for the feedback =D
The blood bug is fixed in the post-jam version! I couldn't reproduce the other bug yet, though =/
Capsila, I believe the Mac version should be working now! Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi Fanatrick! Did you manage to create zombies to protect you? Once an hipnotized person gets to your castle, you'll be able to turn them into zombies during the day!
Hi Slashee! Thank you for your feedback =] Leveling up speeds up hipnotizing more and more as you do it, but it shouldn't be that slow so as to not be able to hipnotize anyone in a single night. It's possible that the game is running at different speeds in different computers. I'll try to speed it up, though!
Hello Flaid! Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you, the gameplay does need work. The constant clicking is universally disliked and will definitely be removed if we continue the game. I haven't been able to reproduce that bug yet but I will investigate, thanks for commenting!
I really liked the concept, having to figure out the best way to appeal to each individual! I think a more fleshed out post-jam version could also be really interesting =]
The game was nice overall, cute music and graphics. The sound was pretty cool! I had a hard time understanding at first that the gray ones were damaging me and even often I wasn't sure if I was hit or not. I'm also not sure if there is a different strategical reason to use one ability over the other. But a little polish in these areas and the game would be great!
I get the cows up there, but I don't know what makes them count or not.
The style is pretty great, though!
I wasn't able to play the game, I think it was due to them being for 64-bit computers =/
Incredible use of mood, interesting story and a ton done for a game jam. I'm not 100% sure I understood what happened, though xD
The game is really nice! A lot of information to consider though, this is a game to be played slowly and with a lot of attention, constantly switching between different documents. The graphics and the music are great. Really polished!
Very solid and polished game! I only got a bit frustrated when I was close to winning and a small mistake made me restart everything, haha. But overall, pretty nice.
As much as I tried, I could never get enough momentum to get the yellow thing in the windows version.
I think it's always interesting to adapt old non-virtual games to a new form.
That said, one of the best parts of doing that is adding all the cool stuff you can do in virtual games. It would be nice if the game was more "juicy" - particles or trail renderer in the ball, more feedback / impact when you strike a "goal"... Though of course, you can only do so much in the compo.
The game is pretty solid, though! No bugs, everything works perfectly.
When you run out of carrots, all you can do is wait =/ Maybe if you got carrots more frequently, one by one, and also got bonus carrots when successfully mating rabbits? Also, there could be a timer of some sort to indicate the temporary effect of the carrot, and maybe a circle around the bunny to indicate the area in which they are looking for a mate.
With different controls, the game could be pretty fun! I liked how you included guaranĂ¡. The shader used in the game isn't very nice though. Also, if you continue the game after the jam, it would be nice to unlock new plants one by one, so you can learn to use each one and also to get a better sense of progress / achievement.
The only game with humor I've played so far in this Ludum Dare haha Great voice acting. I wish the soldiers had a bit of an A.I. so they would chase the enemies that are closer to them. Some sound effects during the game would also be pretty nice. Oh, and there were those UI anchoring/scaling issues. But I haven't played the post-jam version yet, maybe those things are fixed! Overall, pretty nice.
I got the web version, and maybe I missed it but I didn't see any instructions? I think I missed it. I figured out though that the mouse shoots and space turns in one direction. Repetitive clicking to shoot though is tiring - maybe shooting could either be automatic, or could be a reason to not shoot sometimes?
I didn't understand what the colors were about.
