The physics felt pretty spot on but this was only fun for about 30 seconds (with another player). I think if it just had *something* over the basic model of the original game it would have had significantly more staying power.

It reminded me of that old school boxes with water, with rings or little balls in it, I have no clue what they are called.
The concept is good, but it needs some more to be great. Both players have equal powers, and can't do a special move or something.
Also, next time please make a WebGL build, so everyone can use their default browser ;)
Reminds me of my childhood days :)
I think it's always interesting to adapt old non-virtual games to a new form.
That said, one of the best parts of doing that is adding all the cool stuff you can do in virtual games. It would be nice if the game was more "juicy" - particles or trail renderer in the ball, more feedback / impact when you strike a "goal"... Though of course, you can only do so much in the compo.
The game is pretty solid, though! No bugs, everything works perfectly.

Some feedback (bubbles) on the streams of water would be nice and would make it more intuitive.
