Great work! Good ideas and good execution.

The only thing that bothered me was the scrolling. 75% of the screen is behind your character so you don't see what's ahead and you must learn the layout of the level.

But other than that, it was a really enjoyable entry. A lot of fun =)

Loved it. I would greenlight it on Steam. It's that good.

A fun puzzle/platformer game. The idea/concept is simple, but that what makes the game great. Well done.

kazenoz 2016-08-29 13:29

Wow, that's actually a quality I wouldn't have guessed to be jam material.
Very well done.

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

Playing with fire was never as fun as in this game! Also, great manner of storytelling!
Music, sounds and graphics are just fantastic!

Great story, gameplay and level design.
Burning things is really funny x)
One of the few ones that i actually had real fun with :D

A fun and twisted game! The camera doesn't go far enough to see what's next, but the gameplay was fun, the music and sound effects work really well.
Good job!

Really good job! I agree that it was a bit annoying not being able to see to far in front of you but other than that a really great game!

The game had great gameplay and was engaging. There is a memory aspect to the game because of the camera and I think it's just a matter of taste what kind of camera would be best. The Dinosaur is a great idea: It can replenish your fire duration, you have to watch its behavior to pass it, and it unexpectedly turns into ash in seconds.
The game fits the theme well and it can be seen as a metaphor for the human struggle with nature through time. This game is to global warming what There Will Be Blood was to capitalism. We think we have the fire under control now, but soon the machines will take over the world.

Awesome humor, awesome intro, awesome fire. But why is the spacebar the fireball and not the jump button.

dertraveler 2016-09-10 13:04
