Got System Error: "The program can't start because openAL32.dll is missing from your computer."
Couldn't run the game:
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000007b). Click OK to close the application.
missing required dll files
Library not found "libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll"
Hilarious! and awesome!
Bah sorry all, am I allowed to bundle the openAL installer now?
nice game!
Hi all I've rebuilt the game using BlitzMax (now the default Windows build) and it should work without problems.
I will now get the OSX and Linux builds ready
OSX and Linux builds in place
When it crashed it was the saddest thing. I want moar. 5/5
So...you want Exception Access Violations in your game? :P
A lot more fun than I thought it'd be, definitely worth seeing through to the end. Glad my computer could run it.
The best game I have tried so far.
5/5 on everything, I loved every single part of it.
"Oh_andrej"
No I dont :( They aren't actually meant to be there and I cannot work out why? The final crash is graceful and just quits, the others, I have no real idea why it happens.
I might go back to suggesting the GLFW build instead of the Blitzmax one.
Thanks Kiiro :) and to all who tried it
Missing DDL Files
I like it. I was almost done (I think, cleared most of the screen)and then it crashed on me 'MonkeyGame quit unexpectedly'(I'm on OSX). Otherwise, really fun game, nicely done :)
I'll do some more testing with the BlitzMAX build, clearly something is wrong!
Thanks a lot, my brain melted because of the High level of detail!

Very cool interpretation of the theme, quite unique, sort of a stream-of-consciousness-to-level-design. Simple but elegant and fun :)
This is great, so meta, great use of the theme, and still an actual game. Graphics are very HD, sound didn't work for me though so leaving that unrated. Zombies made me LOL. But then it segfaulted at "Things I do want in my game" :(
I think I've fixed the premature crash issue, so per chance someone who previously tried the game sees this, please give it another go :)
I liked the game. I didn't understand which of the little dots I was supposed to hit and which I was supposed to avoid.
one of the best i played this LD
Awesome idea! I loved reading the text.
I'v tried this game and now I guess is error was that thing that you "want to see in your game?" :). I like the idea and humor. I'll come back tomorrow :). Hope to see the ending of the game.
I liked this, you fit the theme well, and it was a fun experience. There was some funny stuff in here :D

Hi Bilo, yes it should be working find now, I've just done a test play thought on Linux, OSX and Windows. The crash you saw was NOT intentional.
I do like a good labyrinth! Great implementation. I could see myself passing time with this.
Simple concept, but well implemented.
The text in map is the best part.
A very nice idea, but my eyes started hurting after focusing on a tiny dot for a while.
Okay, first of all, I loved the level design, and the sense of exploration was wonderful. The minimalist graphics and soundtrack were pretty cool too!
I did have a bit of a problem figuring out what dots you're supposed to pick up, and there was a problem where a bee snuck into the section after the 'jump scares' teleporter and sent me back to the start of that whole segment, but otherwise I had lots of fun with this game!
You might want to add a headphones warning though. Jumpscares are fine and all, but suddenly blasting peoples eardrums isn't.
This was fun! Love how it's almost narrated and goes self-aware. Needed some music, though, I was afraid of an actual jumpscare :c
Love it! I rolled my eyes at first, having played far too many "move the little dot around the map" games, but it quickly became apparent this game had enough personality and clever tricks to merit a full playthrough. No crashes here, the whole thing played nice for me.
Okay, I absolutely love your game :) It's sad that you couldn't include zombies... ;D The music is great, makes the best tension in the game, I loved playing through it :P (and do a post-compo version, where you made some ending screen instead of erroring out :P ) Anyway, good job! :3
Loved the music!
I love every bit of it. The zombies especially, those evil bastards. No honestly enjoyed the experience, thanks for the save points.
What a charming mofo of a game yourself ChrisMingay
Starting out playing this game, I didn't not know what I was getting myself into. Very quirky. I had a fun time! That was pretty good. Well done!
Nice! What are the controls? ...just kidding, I couldn't resist. Anyway, the idea is solid and you executed it pretty well! Controls are nice, except I sort of wanted to be able to move diagonally too. The other thing that bothered me was that there really didn't seem to be any point other than "explore some area with hazards". I'm not necessarily asking for a story, but...maybe some interesting scenery that gets revealed, maybe some items that give you new abilities? I think if you put a bit more work into this it could be really cool!
This game is amazing!!! I was playn' it for 1/2 hour while I was streamin'. Just can't stop playing..
Everything is too small to play. But it's entertaining..
Very nice. I really liked it!
Great entry! Nice interpretation of the theme and nice minimalistic mini-game design :)
As a color-blind it's hard to play for me :(
I can't see bullets or whatever it is
Volkoivan, per chance you see this and you're still interested in the game, can you let me know what would help you and I will try to update the post comp version.
I know "colour blind" options in games tend to involve a pattern overlay on the objects (using match 3 games as an example) but I guess that's not really possible for pixel sized objects
That was great. Nearly jumped out of my chair at "ZOMBIES!"
