I think you included the 32-bit version of lwjgl :) I could fix that, but I think you could upload an x64 version for the others ^^

Eerm.. I've put the x64 binaries in the folder, the game still doesn't start :( If I ran it from cmd, I don't get an UnsatisfiedLinkError, like when I tried that with the x86 binaries, I only got a "Java Binary SE stopped working" screen. :(
I only have the x64 version of the JRE, a year ago I had both of them, when I developed in Windows (since then I changed to Arch Linux, and reinstalled Win) I tried copying both of the natives, and it didn't worked. I also ran it from command line. For double click, it does nothing, from the cmd I get the Java crash. Maybe I'll try it on Arch :P (or install the x86 version :D) Anyway, I'll do anything, I like the screenshots, and I want to try this out ;)
I'll report if I'm succeeded.
I really loved the atmosphere! Cool game! :)
I love this :D
wow! This is the best so far! I love the hardness of this game. The music is cool, makes the mood awesome. Nice job!
Oh, nice interpretation! I liked the game. Finished for the first try tho. We definitely need multiplayer! Oh, and the "parachute" remains me to a bread :D
This could be a great idea, but I found it a little boring :(
Thanks for sharing, I'll take a look :)
@zconnelly13 : did you unpacked the whole zip into one folder? It works for me perfectly on Linux and Windows too
@Jan : yeah.. sorry.. We're constantly trying to fix the collision, but we didn't found out why it's bugging sometimes (eeerm... always....)
@dudsen: what OS do you use?
@Jupiter_Hadley hey, thanks for the mentioning :) I really appreciate that ;)
Can you tell me about how the game is not working? I'd like to fix that :D
@tomc The music is made by HavocS :)
The keys are detected as an event, which sets an element of an array to true. (So it won't mess up the already messed up game loop). I didn't have any problems with the jumping, but I'll take a look.
If you mean the second level's narrow jumps, yeah... that's a pretty hard and nonsense level :D Not impossible, just takes a few tries. But maybe we have to redesign that level..
Anyway, thanks for the comment, and thanks for trying our game ;)
cool idea :)
I love the ide, I love the music, I love chickens, I love everything in this game :D
Excellent work ^^
Nice one! :) I hope you find the internship ;) Good luck!
I'm not really sure about this. I don't know what's all these notes mean. Anyway, the bathroom thing was great, there's only a small bug, if you enter the bathroom backwards, the camera will reset.
This is too hard for me. But nice one :)
I loved this entry! The retro-feeling is awesome. I managed to find the exit after the 20th try :D
This is a quite nice entry :) It was fun to play :D
I guess it would be better as a chain reaction game, with more destroyable thing and smaller explosions. The idea is good tho. Kepp up the good work!
We really laughed for half an hour on the title :D I loved the game, really :D I'll play this for years I think.
It's a very entertaining entry. I loved the soundtrack.
Not a bad idea, but it need a bit more polish :)
I love the gameplay. Very cool entry ;)
It's quite fun, but somehow it killed my Core i7 :D
It needs more levels, but I love the concept
lol :D I love this xD
This was fun! I didn't find too much connection to the theme, but this is a nice game :P
The last level was pretty hard, but I loved the game. It's very addictive ^^ Will you make more levels? :)
Okay, I almost managed to get that 100 people :) By the way put a goblet with the number 100 near the people counter, so the player will remember what is their goal ;)
Anyway, I loved the music, and I will try to reach the 100 again. :)
Holy dogs**t. I don't know what kind of medicines did you take before LD, but this is just crazy. I love it :D
please cull the lower body, that's really annoying when you look down :( Overall I liked your entry, even though I'm really get bored about minecraftish games, but anyway, this is your first quad texturing, and first 3D game, so no problem this time :P And try to fix the 'air-jump' thing too :D (if you go down on one of the sides, you could still jump once)
Hmm.. this was a bit hard, but lovely. The music is great, the game is connected to the theme, nice job :)
Graphics is awesome, music is awesome, gameplay is awesome, nice entry :D
@Cake&Code yes, I'm working on it right now too :) I want to make a 'post-compo' release. Thanks for your opinion. ^^
@Tanser yeah, I've started that, but it's not finished, so I get it out :) I'll finish it later this afternoon, then I'll post a post-compo ^^
@Sunflower
I didn't have the time to add in-game instructions, so I only put them in the description :) You can also jump to the necropolis by using the home key. Speaking of the graphics: I am a programmer, and not very good in arts. :( Btw all of the graphics were made in GIMP from scratch :D
I'm on the way for finishing more things. :) Currently you only can view the minimaps near the jar file as png images, but I will add that to the game soon. :)
This kinda reminded me to the Shift series :) I enjoyed the gameplay, it's a really innovative work. And I love the music, it was so calm, and really connected to the game.
I'm glad that you didn't stop the development, I really love those pixizens (or dunno how to call those pixelhunters :D ) Next time try to filter out the noise from the voice records. (I loved the 'choo-choo motherf**er' line tho :D) So keep up the good work, and make me more proud young padawan. ;)
Well, this gave me the goosebumps. Crazy ide, but after all, I enjoyed it. Maybe you should fix his hand while jumping.. it come out from an unusual place for an arm. :D
I don't really know what I am did exactly, I found two possible endings. But I like the hand drawn, and the low res graphics too :)
I loved the graphics, but next time please add some muzzle effect :P First I tried to shoot the aliens by HOLDING the mouse button. I also missed the sounds. But the graphics is really cute. ^^
difficult, but enjoyable
Gaves me an error too.
I found this a way too easy, but still a nice game. :) There are some small problems I've encountered, eg.: the bigger building's door logically is in a different place than it's graphics, and the black font color that you use for displaying things are invisible on certain levels. Maybe you could use a white outline for them :)
For me too.. :( Which Java version did you build this for?
A restart button'd be a very great idea :) The physics is a bit.. eerm.. strange, eg. I can't go up without jumping even on the smallest slopes. But I loved the hand-made (looking.. or is it?) graphics ^^
I loved the mechanics, and the atmosphere of the whole game :) I'll try to finish it later. (Got a bit angry, when I accidentally drifted down from the last platform :D )
Wow.. Just wow! Nice job! :)
Awww, this was fun. I've downloaded it after playing it online, I WANT to beat it later :D The music is fine, it paces your heart for playing. Keep it up! :)
awwww, Pigeon <3 ^^ loved playing with this
Hey! At least another RTS idea :D I wasn't sure how the theme is connected, then I saw the info window. :P The only thing I found really annoying, that the workers only build around them. It'd be great to build to a specified location. Anyway, it's a good try, and I hope you'll continue. ;)
I really loved this entry :) I've made a planetary simulation arount a month ago, and I love things like this. ^^
Game completed! :) Well, this was pretty hard, especially because I'd put the controls exactly in reverse. But the visuals are nice, the audio is nice, and I almost get a seizure on the last level, and I enjoyed that after getting used to the controls :D
lol xD
Great concept, but I couldn't see the point of it :D
Not bad, I love the graphics, but I couldn't determine the turrets health.
Loved the puzzles, but please continue on! :)
Well, this was creative and fun! :)
Okay, I absolutely love your game :) It's sad that you couldn't include zombies... ;D The music is great, makes the best tension in the game, I loved playing through it :P (and do a post-compo version, where you made some ending screen instead of erroring out :P ) Anyway, good job! :3
Creative gameplay, and very good mood :) Good job!
Some in-game tutorial would be great, and AI isn't too clever (always wanted to attack a territory that isn't theirs), but it's a nice concept :)
Great interpretation, great music, great everything :D
Needs more content, but it's cool :)
wow.. I love the concept, but the gfx could be a bit larger :P my eyes are tearing :D
Good one! :D
Nice
I really loved this entry :) As for the resource loading internally:
You make a class, e.g.: ResourceManager.java, inside it you can use ResourceManager.class.getResource("/res/image.png"); to get back the resource from inside the jar :)
@NaoisTheGuardian, Strange... this always worked for me, and I always place my classes in packages. :/
Cool! :D
Nice idea, but why the character is coated with glue? :P Anyway, I like the idea, but it needs more polish :)
@Omiya Games: hm.. Do you think I should turn off *all* the trails, or just the other pixel's trail? (I think I'll make an options screen for this) And.. yeah, xp is a bit unbalanced, but you get more XP for shooting enemies :)
@rottenmage: yeah, I'm thinking about other variations. When I made the game I also thought about putting some mini games for each stage.. But I ran out of time.. I'll look into adding these into the post-jam version in the weekend
Oh, and thank you for all your responses :)
@KudukuForgiveUs I've just fixed the camera in the post-jam, and faded the trails, so they aren't too loud (at least it's better for me). About the differentiation:
What do you recommend on more easier recognization than just different colors? If I draw something different on them, that'll undermine the whole 'pixel' concept :(
Thanks for everybody :)
@v01pe: I had an idea to put a display border there, but finally I left that out. I hope that doesn't worsen the experience. :D
I think it gets boring after around 30 seconds :) Needs more work. And make some explosion effects too :D
I like it. :) But it took me a while to figure out that I could double jump :P
I loved the concept, even tho I think you have to replace the night-vision camera for an infrared one. The enemies are too camouflaged to be properly seen with the drone. But I still love it :)
The box for the buyables are offscreen (but maybe it's just me), and moving between rooms is a bit buggy (sometimes I had to try twice to go through), and music feels a bit off, but I like the game anyway :)
lol.
Controls and physics are a bit frustrating, but this is a nice start :)
I'm not really sure what is the win/lose conditions, but I love the gfx :D
Not bad :)
Nice one! :) Good job guys!
This is very genuine, loved the idea! :D
This... was something different from the ones I saw so far.. but... This just touched me... my laptop couldn't really handle the new unreal engine, so it was a bit laggy, but.. really, I love this...
Nice one, I loved the voices :D I literally burst out laughing at the "congratulations, you've created another snowman" part XD I gave up before the end, 'cause I'm tired, but I'll look back tomorrow :P
WHOA! SPIKES! >_< I love the game otherwise :D
I'm not really sure why you randomize coin locations every tick, but I love the concept :) Pontential future update recommendations:
- Allow multiple controls (e.g.: Left and up at the same time)
- Separate render loop from the logic loop :)
- Make some collision check against the trees ^^
Anyway, it's a nice start :)
Needs more levels, but it's already cool enough :)
Minimalistic, but fun :) And robomans are pretty clever.
I found a cheat.. not sure how tho... maybe I spammed 'D' :D http://i.imgur.com/e9fRE9P.png anyway, nice game :P
638 day is my record... but I don't know how I achieved this :D Anyway, I loved the design.
What did I just play? XD Nice one anyway :D
What the hell?! :D I love the graphics, and everything... but then the deadly lasers went crazy and everything broke apart and sh*t xD
Why AZERTY? :( Anyway, the visuals are great :)
Nice one! :)
whoa.... did I just see Mike Kasprzak eating C? :( Anyway, I really loved the idea, and the implementation.. Hate the controls tho.. but you can get used to it :)
Nice visuals, nice music, I'll try this out again with a friend :) [my multitasking skills are failing me on this :D ]
Nice entry.. :) Maybe it's a bit hard, but still enjoyable.
I loved the mechanic, even tho I felt the entities annoyingly small. But anyway, it's a very cool entry :)
Please do something with the title screen.. :( It's very confusing.. anyway, after I found out what I have to do, it was cool :)
The screen is empty.. :( I'm afraid I have too old videocard
Very fun game, I bookmarked it! :P
okay.. I found the metal piece and the crab, but that's all :( Anyway, I loved the graphics :)
I'm not really sure how this is connected to the theme. But I love everything else :) Really cool game. It's a bit difficult, but awesome :3
Cool!
I really love terraria-like games :) And this is a very good entry, loved playing it. :)
Hey! This is very cool, nice job! :D
Excellent! :D
I really loved the concept, I'd like to see more levels :P And I'd take off the controls from the cursor keys, that's a bit misleading. :) It took me a while to realize that I should wait for the timer.
I killed Oak, and I didn't have the nerve to go through it again, but I liked the concept :) Good job!
Yup, I too found the clicking boring, but I didn't find any other way :( [apart from the skills I'd like to implement]
it's a shame that it's this short, but nice idea! :)
'twas fun :) The camera zooming is kinda annoying, but the game itself is still enjoyable ^^
nice game :P
Wow! I loved it! :D
This was a fun game, but needs some polishing (e.g. better AI, maybe you should move the camera after each turn to the next player's base.
I'm not sure if this is alright. You could put a "quick game" mode in the game. :)
For me the mummy "moonwalks" through the wall on the right side of the third level, so I can't kill the folks on the bridge :( But I really like the idea of the game, and I hope sometime I could finish that level :P
I really loved this game! :D Definitely needs some balance, but I love it! :D
I like the concept, but took a while to "chomp" the rope :D
nice idea but the game is too siple
Cool game, but navy is too OP :P
I really loved this one. :) Cute graphics, nice plotting, it is awesome.
Great idea!
I loved the mechanics! :D
nice game. maybe a bit too short, but i liked it :P
good game but the knight dies it one hit
Nice one, but needs more challenge =)
I didn't find out that I should press E at that clerk guy for the first time. And I couldn't win for the second time either, but maybe it could be a good game with more work. :)
I found the character too bouncy. I also hated the audio (sorry :D ). But it's a nice concept, and I found the connection to the theme :P
I loved the CRT effect, but I think you have to make more resolutions.. Or at least for me, on my main screen, I only can see the top-left part of the game. But still a nice entry :)
