Initially I was expecting some fun exploration, though it seems that I kept entering and exiting the same doorways in a loop and not able to get anywhere else. The graphics of the player and enemies were from another game, Super Crate Box. Also, the graphic theme was inconsistent. Would have liked to seen more originality.
dig the rich colours of the hexagons and the pleasant music is nice :)
like the unique style of the art for sure, the sky & mountains are cool, I like the way the perspective changes as you drive or run, fun & original.

Thanks for commenting everyone! I updated the description on how to run the game. And I'll try to work out the bugs with the Linux version.
If you extract the folder and open the folder in the windows version there should be an application called "ice hop ludum fix" run that!
Hey thx for all the feedback yall, really stoked that folks are digging the character, graphics & music, not sure why the zip worked, and was playable for some, then didnt seem to work, but a new zip of the Windows version of ICE HOP has been uploaded, should be running fine and is available for download. There is still an in game load time so be sure to read the "NOTES" section above.
We fixed the zip and managed to reduce the load time between levels as well as the game size.

Volcarnosaur is quite a fun game to play, the origami style characters have a great minimal look & controlling is pretty good, the sound FX are fun tho wish there was a lil music to go along and wish there was a dinosaur sacrifice counter, so you'd have a number to go along with all that hard work! Good Job!
The look & sound of The Colors Beneath the Surface is really cool. Even tho the graphics are very retro, the organic scoring is quite fitting and atmospheric. Very Cool.

The tutorial level was challenging. Controlling movements were clunky, though I like the game title.
That was really fun! It got intense when the asteroids started appearing.
Liked the paper cutout style. The controls were very floaty, fun to see something that looks so different.

Enjoyed the color scheme, the score counter was a little hard to see. the ship and asteroid design was cool, as well as the background
Liked the graphic style, looked sorta like FTL. Found a glitch where you can select multiple buildings to place at once and it wouldn't let you deselect them or place them.

This game is tough.... I got killed by a rabbit over a shoe? On my next attempt I got bombarded by a gang of rabbits and was eventually cornered and executed, I lost my life and the shoe.
Had fun looking for the different cores, I got those guys! I liked the graphic style, though it looked pretty similar to my game.
Was a fun and funny game! Controls were a little wonky at some parts but definitely a nice entry.
Liked the floating in space look, the idea was really neat, and liked all the different levels, had fun playing.
Was fun swinging the guilliotine around, the retro music was really neat.
Attack of the disco breakdancer
It was quite fun, the dificulty curve is a bit intense, the shopkeeper randomly popping up was a little annoying at some parts.
Thought the menu was nicely done. Physics were neat and this guy would be great at parkour.
Teleportation is really freakin cool.
Style was very well done, Smurfs or Minish Cap came to mind, Music was good too.

This one was really fun. It's an "endless" runner where you actually try to get hit by the baddies! The funny thing was as I was playing I thought it would be cool if there were a counter telling me my airtime and combo. As soon as I thought that, one popped up in the corner of the screen!

The farmers got me. The color an' visual style was fun. I like how you get to name your dragon. The dragon in our game doesn't get to fly up high an' terrorize villagers, fun stuff.

This wasn't made clear in the game itself, but in order to jump and fire, you must first purchase the upgrades from Jambo. We apologize for the lack of clarity!
