Pleasant space shooter, enjoyed the sounds the most and the backdrop is beautiful! Was hoping for the background to be animated, some parallax would make this so much better. Great stuff!

I like it, very traditional side scroller. Both sound and graphics makes a nice coherent style. I get kind of a space horror vibe, a bit like Event Horizon or something like that. I enjoyed it, but it's haaaaard - or maybe I'm just bad at shooters. :D The energy system is a nice idea, it adds an extra element of decisionmaking for the player, how much of a risk you want to take to get the pickups.

But I have to complain - it's a bit hard. My spaceship is destroyed on every contact with anything. I would rather suppose it took a part of the fuel instead :wink:

I Like the level music and the tone that is set for the game. The fuel draining without moving is troubling for me and, the ship doesn't respond fast enough to the key commands. I die within the first 30 seconds for sure everytime.
Sounds and music are cool. Very atmospheric, I love space. For more epic worth, add motion to the background - parallax.
It is very difficult to play. Fuel drums are invisible, they need to be made brighter. The ship almost does not fly up and eats a lot of fuel. I fly up to 3 barrels maximum
Nice style and 3d-2d approach. Mechanics are a little fuzzy but cool idea.

The fact is that we imagine the game to be a "Dark Souls" of the ships and the theme of Jam, but the commandos should be better. Best art that I have seen so far! Be prideful in that and the fact that you released a game! Anyhow sorry if this sounds kind of like a rant. It was very challenging. If I was you make the fact that you shoot with the control key more obvious I did not notice this until the end of my play session. That made it very, very challenging. Or maybe I was just being stupid. IDK. Although once I did use it I found that it still didn't do much. I guess I expected to be able to shoot the asteroids and destroy them. Also shooting the guys that shoot towards you is nearly impossible so there is little use in using the commands.
I played it and it was a bit hard maybe fuel can be bigger at beginning it makes player feel that the game is very hard or uncompleted. But i loved art and asteroids i think. :D Good luck!
Ok... I tried to play this 3 times and every time I lost all fuel before any object even enter the screen :/
Overall a okay little Game, but it somehow needs some final touches. The visual style is good, but there needs to be some more animations to make the field a bit more alive. And yes some parallax effect with background could be good, and perhaps some camera shake.
Hello @caveman54, the asteriods can be destroy, only the smalls, initially a bug in the code prevented this from happening correctly, in any case we will do an investigation. About the shot, did you say ctrl L? WE put the information about that in main menu. if I do not understand, correct me, thanks for the review!

Had to restart the game after encountering an issue where my fuel drained at a super fast rate, but afterwards was able to play for a bit. Great job on the atmosphere and look.
I am also one of the players who runs out of fuel almost as soon as the countdown ends. I am not sure if im doing something wrong or not.
Ok I tried again and figured it out. If anyone else cant play this, make sure your graphic settings are not set to very low.
The game is quite challenging to shoot at the enemies cause your ship doesnt have any acceleration or smaller movements but this game has got some really cool graphics I like! and the game is quite intuitive to play
I like the graphics and the audio. The ships and asteroids looked cool, and the sounds felt convincing. Well done, there.
Gameplay felt a bit bland to me overall. Most of the time, my most effective course of action was to just dodge everything and not try to shoot.

I really liked the graphics and the side scroller. Cool atmosphere, style and really nice artwork. The only issue is that I found it quite hard. I run out of fuel almost immediately which is kind of disappointing. Maybe also add some more animations. Other than that, good job!

Nice job with the graphics/music as others have said. But yeah, I could hardly make it very far in any of the situations! I think maybe the game would work well if it started off easier and then became harder
Looking cool! We also used the concept of using energy to shoot and other upgrades as well.
It's a good looking game, but could use some balance tweaks. I fell into the same type of play that JoshAnthony1990 mentioned. It seems like the best way to survive is to focus entirely on dodging and avoid shooting. With a few adjustments to the fuel economy I think the game flow will come together nicely.
The user interface elements and game models are pretty slick. The game is pretty visually appealing. I figure with a parallax background it will look even better.
I'd say you've got a pretty solid foundation for a side scrolling space shooter here. It just needs a bit more experimentation regarding game balance and stage design to really take off.
