i tryed spacebar and left mouse but it doesnt work for me. i can look behind the wall. the graphic is otherwise nice. :hearts:
This wasn't made clear in the game itself, but in order to jump and fire, you must first purchase the upgrades from Jambo. We apologize for the lack of clarity!
I like the concept and characters, but the color palette was too flat. Some pops of color here and there would have helped a lot on making it more visually appealing. Other than that I really like Little Robot. Nice job, keep it up!
Live thee sounds & tunes! The fighting mechanic is a bit harsh - making the initial fights very hard and not intuitive. Perhaps some easier robots to start off with?
I found this game way too hard, the combat is very dull and with that insane mouse sensitivity (i am not sure if its from me or the game but i havent had such problems in other games) it was simply impossible to finish the game. I found the graphics nice and the audio was pretty cool so props for that.
I am really not sure if i missed something but as of now, the game needs something(maybe some balancing?) to make it better, though thats my opinions.
Good job, regardless!
I really liked this game and the concept worked very well. This game shows lots of promise. Initially I was a bit lost on what to do, but after watching the uploaded video it all made sense. If you continue working on this game after Jam, fixing the bugs, improving AI, graphics/textures, player feedback/hints, polish and game balance, this would be a great game.
At the moment it is a good game, and I would love to see the final result after turning it into a full game. Well done!
I like it. It took me a few tries to realize that you aren't supposed to fight the robots and that you can break the metal objects for batteries. The mouse is too sensitive and the robot's body sort of gets in the way of shooting once you have the gun. The music and graphics are great! It reminded me of Nier.
Excellent graphics and music, the speed of the mouse is too high but it is playable, the problem is that it is not well understood what to do
I loved the style. With a bit more time on the graphics and character animations, this would look amazing. And for a gamejam game, I'm very impressed. Great work.
I can't use the mouse or the space bar. Am I wrong? Thank you for your efforts.
Fun game. A little bit hard.
It's pretty difficult game, I have an impression it demands on controls, but anyway it really has a style - music adds a lot to the atmosphere, levels reminds me old good FPSes :D Gameplay needs a little touch, and then it will be great ;)
Whoo, the mouse aim is crazy sensitive. I got used to it eventually, but it could've used a choice or some tuning :D
The game was a little repetitive, but I still enjoyed it, once I got the hang of the combat and controls. You might want to add some feedback on when melee attacks hit. My first few tries were just dying, because I tried to talk to the enemies and didn't even realize they were damaging me.
As people have mentioned, the mouse sensitivity is a bit much! Otherwise, controls are decent. However, I noticed that when idling after some gameplay, Little Robot was still moving ever-so-slightly to the left. Could be an issue on my side, though. Took me a little while to get the hang of combat - I feel like the plasma gun is not dealing the kind of damage I'd hoped - some robots only take one hit, but others take multiple? Is that to do with the hitboxes, or maybe it's for the sake of balancing? The jetpack felt very useful, both in navigating the environment as well as dodging unwanted combat. Overall an interesting premise, nice work! PS, the music is very fitting!
