Could not run on Windows, it said "windows could not find javaw"
worked fine here. Nice game, specially considering you had no prior experience =D I could quite figure out how to direct the player, though...
Also, nice pixel art.
@David Hi, I'm one of the developers. The start script expects Java to be in your PATH environment variable.
You have to options to fix this:
1. add Java to your PATH variable
2. replace javaw by (including the quotes) "%programfiles%\Java\jre7\bin\javaw" (given you have java installed).
It's a nice idea. I like the pixel art and the sounds.
But doesn't seems fair that you can't control the robot ( or I think I can't control it). You have to collect the bateries to keep playing, but you can't move the robot!
The robot doesn't collect the batteries, it just destroys them. To collect the batteries you have to catch them with the active platform.
This is a quite nice entry :) It was fun to play :D
Cool little game. I don't get how it relates to the theme though.
Nice game, althoug I didn't get the whole energy-mechanic (and survived just fine without worrying about it :D)
Couldn't run the game... nothing happened. I had Java 7 installed. (Windows)
@mortl8324 You only got one platform ;)
@Nichii if you installed only the jre not the jdk, you have to add java to you %Path% in Windows. Or change the execution path in the run.cmd.
On top of the description on this page the default jre path ist written.
Cool Idea, should be a runnable jar.
Not bad for a first game. Gets a bit easy and boring after you get used to the controls
Sounds are a little loud and I think batteries should be bigger and pop out from the background more. I thought they were a particle effect at first! But aside from that gameplay is entertaining even if a little too simple, gets quite repetitive fast.
Nice little "platformer". Cool idea and a cool game. Had no troubles starting the game.
You missed the theme, but so did I.. ;)
Nice work!
@Capitals We wanted to do so, but because of the native libs it didn't. Sadly :/
No problems running it over here. Good first entry!
Cool!
Still cant run it :/
very nice for the very first time!
Doesn't run on osx :/
The cheat codes are amusing, mostly because they aren't cheats at all :-) also, nice game.
Well, it's a decent start... if polished, might actually work on mobile devices pretty nicely.
Good going.
A bit hard to see everything.
But my computer is from the dark ages too..
There isn't a very strong sense of progression, and the audio could be improved upon, but otherwise an amusing concept.
