WOW. An ambitious game to make in 48 hours. XBOX controller support blew me away also. I expect to see this in the finals. Congrats and well done :)
I really enjoyed this! Artwork is good and colour choices and contrasts were good. The dual mechanic between ships and sharks was great. Only suggestion is to vary where the pirates spawn from after the first wave, they were only coming from below after a time. Otherwise, great job, and nice to see a fellow GameMaker user :)
Cool concept, name, intro, music, artwork... This whole thing oozed polish. Excellent work.
Always good to meet other developers using GM :) Really liked the backing soundtrack to this. Controls handled well, spritework was good, especially liked the parallax background effect. Well done :)
Solid game :) In the 'light' world, I absolutely love the 3 complementary colours, nice job!
'Gain(us') and 'Uranus' - enjoy these humour scores :)
While it was tricky to decipher the planets,
the rhymes were so fun - I couldn't have planned it.
I enjoyed the music. Controls were responsive, and the enemys colours contrasted nicely against the background. Nice work :) The need to resupply definitely had me connecting with a bunch of worlds.
Having a level generator and AI (even if you're unhappy with it) is pretty sophisticated! I stayed away from both, so you're a step ahead of me :) This shows promise, nice work.
I lol'd pretty hard at your character pronunciations. I played as the 'rarangerar' :) Mechanic was cool, enjoyed the sound effects and your spritework. Polished game all around, good work!
I really got into this! I played 6 times or so before I thought to check out other planets. Then I discovered that you start on the hardest planet in the solar system :) Enjoyed this, I think you have an interesting mechanic and would like to see where you can take it.
@stimpact
Pressed enter, couldn't get it to start :( Sorry!
This was pretty funky. The soundtrack scored it well, like an 80s buddy cop movie, which I think the characters lend themselves to as well. Watching two runner games at once is tricky, and in a good way. Nice work!
@stimpact
I liked this. The way you had the camera pan out to an empty sky made a huge and effective use of the haunting beeps of the transmitter. I was expecting an answer back. It just hit home that there wouldn't be one. This woman is hoping to connect with another world, because I suspect she has trouble connecting to anyone on this one. Bravo :)
@stimpact
Difficulty progression was good. Enjoy the arcade feel. I laughed when I saw the robots smile once they won. Sound effects for shooting was nice. Good job :)
Nice job! Controlling two characters at once was a cool mental workout that you don't often get. I liked the plot and overall think this is pretty polished. Congrats.
I will be paranoid about anything and everything above my head as I walk down the street tomorrow :) I liked the spritework and animations in this. Was curious what their conversation would be which spurred me on to finish. Congrats on getting a game complete for LD; third time's a charm!
Great name and solid puzzles. Well done :)
Great graphics, fun mechanic :) Well done!
Chrome has told me the .zip is malicious and blocked it. I doubt that's the case. Congrats on finishing your second game, and first jam :)
Fun mechanic :) Way to think outside the box, while remaining inside it ;)
Reminds me of the old underwater levels in TMNT on the NES. Music suited the style of game, spritework excellent, and colour contrast good. Loved the attention to detail, like the octopus eyes moving up when I was traveling in that direction. Amazing job.
This is the first game I've ever played that used Twine. I like your taken on the theme of 'Connected Worlds' to connect the player with others in the same world. The theme is especially relevant with all the things blowing up in games development this week. Nice concept, well done :)
Neither start or how to play buttons worked for me. Had to give you 5 for the music though - left the game open to enjoy it :) I'm sure the game will work for others, congrats on finishing your first.
Congrats on completing your first LD :) I thought the controls handled well, and I got a laugh from a couple of moments. Nice job.
Killer intro! Had me hooked.
