Love that the character says something about everything he picks up, make this game very funny to play. Also quite fun trying to work out how heavy things are so as to throw it at the right angle. Would be nice if there was a way to skip the phone call at the beginning. Oh also, its nice to see a leader board in a game
@Wevel Hey, thanks for the feedback! Gonna play your game later after school.
That would be nice if you could skip the phone call... and you can ^^: "Skip the phone conversation by clicking space"
love the idea XD

Fun game :D
Interesting idea! The voice acting, while not always very clear is quite a nice touch.
Could've done with a bit more time to throw some more things but maybe I was just a bit slow!

Very nice game ! Very funny, the quote for each object is cool and makes me wanna replay to hear everything. The music is really cool and that torso 3D model :ok_hand: !
My only gripe with the game are the weird controls but maybe that was intentional or I didn't tweak the settings right (and also if possible make a web build of the game, less of a hassle to test it ^^" avast is scanning every executable games of the jam and it's a pain in the ass )
@Ashtrail yeah I think I'm going to port it to web when I get home. Didn't have time yesturday. The deadline was 03:00 AM a schoolnight... Had to go to bed 2 hours before deadline. Thanks.

You can see your own belly!!! Haha. Once I saw the window I went in a throwing frenzy. 2nd try I actually got stuff in the trash. Really funny

Why fall into all that tired old "annoying girlfriend" stuff? The gameplay would be totally entertaining if that wasn't at the center of it all, you know?

Hahahahaha I love the voice performance and nipples and belly button! Very cool and funny! I'll never show this game to my wife, though

Voice comments are the best
@safrmo Sorry I thought it would be entertaining. This doesn't mean that all girls are annoying and throw out computers. Also the protagonist of this game isn't your typical guy. I'm sorry if you found the game-play offensive, hope you still had a good time :-)
This is hilarious, the voices were such a good idea! Great job!!
This is a really nice entry haha. Throwing stuff out is fun, and obviously the voices and story make it what it is. Good work :)

the voiceover was funny! :) the graphics are solid for a 3D game, though the fonts and placement of texts and scores seem a little out of place, and the throwing mechanic coupled with the voiceover was entertaining. My camera was going crazy, but that might be just because I'm playing on linux, or my mouse sensitivity is too high.

What a fun strange little experience. The flavor dialogue for the shoes was pretty clever. The sound on the garbage truck was also excellent, through a quick-reply button would've been nice. The nipples on my character are mildly upsetting. Overall great game :)
Quirky fun little game - the voiceovers did make it pretty funny. (Though, the distortion on the voice sometimes got hard to understand.)
I managed to get 7th on the leaderboards for a bit (used name "throwitall")
I threw the phone in too; oops
When I looked down and saw my own nipples... I knew I had to place top 10.
Funny / silly story and small jokes every time you picked an object up.
Nice work.

I had lots of fun while playing, the dialogues were a nice touch.
Hilarious. My only complaint is the mouse controls are a bit wonky, even when adjusting the mouse sensitivity.

I loved this game, a bit challenging also, which is good, reminds me a bit of Postal on the humor side and the voice acting, nice job!
HAha nice work. I sucked at the game, but that's not your fault. Best humor.
Great idea and humour. I can see this as a full VR game!

The sound effects were awesome, love the little one liners too. Gameplay was fun, and I currently hold the high score (45)! :D
@gwolf86 hehe well not anymore it seems :/ still nice job!

Damn it, well that lasted all of 2 seconds!

Got the table and the picture in. Then nothing else would fit except for small stuff. The voice clips really made this. Also laughed at an actual call timer on the phone.
@nillard It's Nillard! The legend, I had to ask around my friends whether they played the game under "Nillard" because your score was so good. Well played! ^^
Funny entry! Many great little details. Funny dialogue, that carries the game. Really fun to play. Would have loved some better looking environment, but other than that, good game!

Very funny! Well done sir! I'd like to recommend the post processing stack for unity, very easy way to make your graphics pop!
Fun mechanics and the game runs smooth! It's an interesting take on the theme.
@mr-matt is it allowed to use that in compo ? :O Never used it but it seems cool. Thank you sir and thank you for playing.

@oliverlevay Good point, I'm not sure. I used it for the jam. I figure it would probably be ok because its basically a part of unity. Anyway, compo's over now so I guess you could still add it if you like!
Very funny entry, made me laugh the whole way through, and trying to figure out the way to throw things was a fun challenge. Well done!
Fun with the spoken audio :)
First of all, you've marked the linux and mac builds wrong... Screen Shot 2017-12-09 at 15.14.55.png
So I forgot to input my name on the second launch :disappointed: Screen Shot 2017-12-09 at 15.30.51.png
Quite a funny one. Since the main point was first trying to figure out what is worth the most, it would have been nice to see the amount somewhere when getting an object into trash instead of having to know how much I had before and doing subtraction. So in the simplest just showing another text box under the score that would say like "+25" for a while after scoring. Would have wanted to see more different stuff in the room (including a door).
Also had some weird control issues. Like it was never told that you could use space to skip the phone call in the beginning (now I noticed that you did tell about it in the description). Also the ending was weird requiring the player to esc and restart without any indication. Should have shown the retry/quit buttons there automatically. The look angle lock was quite strange choice as well. So for example when going for the shoes, you couldn't get too close to them or you couldn't look down enough to grab them.
@antti-haavikko Damn that is some QUALITY feedback! I probably should have required the player to input a name and not have the default name be "Memelord".
quality feedback.png
I changed your name manually - hit me up if you want to change it to something else. All of your points are solid and I will add them to the game, you actually inspired me to continue with the project =).
I don't agree with the look angle lock since his belly is so big ^-^
EDIT: fixed the marking issues, thanks for all your awesome feedback.
Haha, it's cool, I could beat that 54 if I wanted to :sunglasses:
I don't think whipping out the realism card really works here for the look angle lock. Your arms are long enough to pick up stuff from like two meters away but suddenly the belly gets in the way if you get too close...
Oh yeah, one more thing I forgot to mention on my first post. I don't think all the weights of the objects make sense. For example, I don't think the books should be lighter than the shoes. It was kinda weird that the shoes were pretty much the heaviest of all the objects.
Definitely the funniest game I've played thus far
The low poly graphics, distorted voice acting, comments for every item ("I painted that! But she ugly anyway" hahhahah) made this game a great experience all the way through.
The highscore feature also kept me playing for a little longer (I'm fifth at the moment with 39 I think, yay!).
Keep it up!
Hahahahaa this gave me a good laugh. Great submission! Boy I had trouble throwing things into the bin, but it was fun trying.

Funny idea! I included it in my Ludum Dare 40 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s2AmCPVSXQ
