Oh noes, I'm stuck! At least I can stay here all day listening to this music. Nothing reloading the page can't fix though!
Edit: Just noticed the R key.

Took me a while to figure out I needed to press the 'z' key. It looked more like an 'o' strangely enough.
I think every party needs a wizard. As fragile as they are, they seem crucial to defeating enemies early on. Wish it was more clear on the game mechanics though.
The linux download is an 0-byte sized file. Sad! Looking forward to it when the download is fixed.
Very fun. My only complaint is the white locations on the white background. Hard to see.
I'm nort drung, I'ff only haaad 25 drinks. My advice to fellow drink guzzlers is not to guide the hand, but let the hand guide you.
I needed to install libsfml-dev to run this (Linux). Graphics are quite good.
Felt good getting through the levels. Found it strange that you can stack a unit on an enemy's, however.
Hilarious. My only complaint is the mouse controls are a bit wonky, even when adjusting the mouse sensitivity.
Too challenging for me, but good design all round. Very polished.
Sea changing color was certainly a nice touch. Music needs work, but is off to a good start.
Good game, would have appreciated if you included the Linux lwjgl natives in the jar file (I had to recreate the jar myself in order to run the game) however. Sound effects are funny and gameplay is addicting. Good job.
The puzzles were good, hindered only by the controls. Character designs were also quite nice.
Some tips for players: 1) the three parts you need are near spawn, just restart the game if you get lost before getting them. 2) W and S are forward / backward, and A and D are spin one way or another. 3) You can mine asteroids for parts by destroying them. 4) Use the mouse wheel to scroll along the parts list. 5) you can only have one hull at a time, remove the old one when you upgrade. 6) Turn down your volume
Couldn't figure out how to get shields charged though. Also, I felt like I was always rotating too slow or too fast. Would have also liked to combine hulls for huge ships. Adrift.png
@joellikespigs Thanks! I would have had different armour sets, but the sprite work with weapons and armor was exponential and I wasn't sure how to do it effectively.
@lamossus The bow is pretty powerful, but the armour + sword combo does give you an extra 15 health with faster attacks :sunglasses:
@nikolaj it should have the natives for mac as well, can you post the full error?
Looks like a nice game, but I was unable to play since it lagged out once I exited from the office server.
Oh paradise, I cannot say how long I have waited for you!

Being a warrior is hungry work! Graphics were top notch for that style, controls were good. If the story is more fleshed out, this could have a lot of potential. The font needs to be slightly cleaner as the top of the 'E' and the 'H' looks glitchy.
Very unique and fitting to the theme. That said, when trying to pinpoint some sound, it can be difficult to know whether to move up or down. Also oddly realistic buzzing insects.:bee:
Maxed upgrades, website is ldjam and... I'm in debt. I knew selling ideas was too good to be true! debt2.png
@copper-aardvark-games I already purchased everything, so there was nothing to test. Nothing to be concerned about though, it was just an integer overflow from getting *too much* money.
The idea and graphics were good, but a bug which where you hit a corner makes you unable to move made it very difficult to play.

The special effects were very cool when you were hit by an asteroid.
Very well done. Good graphics, good sound, good controls. Not much gameplay, but the ambiance makes up for it many times over.
Cool game, once I figured out how to utilize the bombs enemies were dropping like flies. When going down a stair case however, I got this crash (I'm not sure which exception caused the game to freeze, so I'm posting all three):

Funny game. Music is high quality for the time frame given. If I had to improve on this game, I would add effects to the attacks, such as characters jolting when hit or a quick flash of the icon of the attack used towards the enemy.
Couldn't start the game, I crashed, even though I started it from the bin folder. Disclaimer: I was using Wine to run this Windows game on Linux.
Output:
`[07-10 08:05:02]: starting SIGIL...`
`[07-10 08:05:04]: loading assets...`
`sliLoadWaveFormat() encountered AL error 40963 when buffering ../wav/next-level.wav`
The slime frameworks are fun to play with, but the rest of the game is too slow paced, and when you fail a level, you have to go through the slow movement all over again. Also, thanks for the native Linux build
That narrator keeps closing the game on me! And my humans are happy... too happy... suspiciously happy...
If your planet crashes into another one it says your planet has run out of materials. Is this intentional?

If you go near the edge of the map, collision stops working with the ground. Good take on the theme.
I'm stuck at the title screen :( I can't press anything or click anything to continue. Pressing 'Esc' only closes the game.
@elemel Yes the enter key worked. I don't have anyone to do multiplayer with, but the game controls well, and I'd imagine it would be fun to play. I'm glad someone ended up doing a hamster wheel type game for this theme.
@wevel It seems the download link is broken, it's supposed to be the bugfix version 1.0.1 which fixes the enemy problem, which you can get here: https://github.com/FinalForEach/LD47-keys-and-goblins/releases/download/1.0.1/LD47-keys-and-goblins-1.0.1.jar .
*EDIT: * I've reproduced the enemy bug in my code, but I can't seem to figure out why. Hmm...
The ending level uses the same generation with an exit that restarts the game, so if that exit is missing it's a bug I haven't found myself yet.
Good game, controls are smooth, and the quick death screens are a nice feature. Unfortunately if the door closes on you, you can't do anything except close the game.

Good game mechanics, graphics and music. My only complaint is that the song restarts whenever you decide to restart after dying.
Also got stuck on lvl 2 due to the GO glitch. The UI should be improved to be more clear that an item is selected as well. The music is lovely and it's nice that it changes for each level.
I'm guessing the bookshelves were a placeholder graphic  Great graphics and sound all around.
I feel ashamed for rating this so highly, but it deserves it! I got a score of 82s
I can't even imagine the work needed to do a 3d game for this compo, half my time was spent debugging a 2d game! But hey, I'd imagine the flying cars aren't a bug, more so the citizens of loopedy island found the only way to escape- through the skies...!
Very cool. At first I didn't realize there was more than one vinyl, and was disappointed with the single short loop, but I ignored it since it was a ludum dare game after all... But then I figured it out, and was impressed by the multiple tracks you made! I only suggest you add an in game indicator that the player should switch tracks (at least the first time).
Smooth animations, fun gameplay, all is good here!
@extar it seems you have to download the source zip, then run the exe in the directory of the source. The exe can't run on its own.
Music starts simple, but turns out lovely towards the end. Animations are nice. Slime enemies may appear outside of the walls. Took me a while to figure out what to do, but hey, it's a puzzle after all.
When I try to run the linux binary it gives me the error `/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version 'GLIBC_2.32' not found (required by ./the_loop_bad_rusty_lnx)`, and I'm not sure I'm even able to upgrade libc6.
