Very interesting way to start the game off. Took me a bit to figure out because of naming but cool little concept!

What a cute little game! The levels were really nicely designed and well thought out. When I first saw each level I thought to myself "Oh, this is gonna be a breeze," and then the crows come. No matter how perfect you try and time things the crows just mess everything up, and I find that a really clever mechanic. No matter if the crow runs off with your fruit or you go to chase the crow away, your timing gets messed up and the panic sets in.
Music was :ok_hand: on point. Well done!
Wow, our games are quite similar indeed! You music is amazing. It has a very FTL feel to it, especially the menu music. I just had a listen to the entire thing and it is very enjoyable.
Controls were a bit wonky especially with the aiming at the mouse. You kind of had to move to re-position your craft and then aim at the enemy.
Graphics were really nice as well, and the galaxies in the background had their own unique and pretty feel to it.
Well done!
Great game, cool art style, and solid mechanics that are easy to figure out. Only issue is that the gravity is very strong, making the timing required very exact, causing some jumps to be very difficult. Would love to hear back when its fixed because I got stuck on the level where I can see a new bot at the end and I really wanna try that one out.
I had some bugs when playing like randomly dying or switching to a different color, but the game was still very enjoyable, especially trying to figure out your final area!
This was a blast to play. As I was upgrading the websites I really wanted the ldjam to be one of them and I'm glad it made it. Straightforward concept but great execution!
I wanna try this, but I keep getting a 404 error from itch.io saying the page isn't there. Not sure if anyone else if having this problem, but let me now when it's fixed!
This was incredibly entertaining. I loved the dinosaurs (though they kept snacking on my humans). Played through it again (avoiding the dinosaurs) and was wondering if there was an end and indeed, a truly fitting ending for such a game.
Neat little game! It was fun to run around throwing chairs at people but I found that whenever I added things to the fire it the fire would barely go up, even when I grabbed the coal all the way from the back. I wish that the further away from the front you went you would get better items to keep you going for longer.
Great game! Loved the concept with challenges that increase in difficulty. Got stuck on one of the areas though. Cute sound effects and amazing graphics!
@cz46 yeah there is a bug where enemies just decide to walk off the map and it pretty much ends the game. I tried to tackle it but the path finding was a big challenge.
@manimal I found a cool shader that I wanted to use for a while and after trying it, it just makes things pop!
Thanks for the feedback!
@adam-konig Thanks for the feedback! I was definitely going for an Enter the Gungeon feel.
As for colliders, I think I could have spent a little bit of time creating 2 hitboxes for enemies to use, one for navigation and wall collision checks and then another one for damage. I totally get the whole "make enemies hitbox bigger" but its my first time really playing with the 2.5D perspective.
As for the pixel art, I was going for a less detailed, cleaner flatter look since it would just be faster. Yep smaller is better when it comes to these things, and I have a lot to learn about pixel art! Your comment made me really happy because I worked really hard on the art
Thanks for your constructive feedback!
Cute little game!
Cool platformer! I found the first floor to be incredibly difficult and it took me a few minutes to get the hang of it. The first platforms were way too small and the water moved too quickly. Despite the steep learning curve it was pretty fun once I got the hang of it.
Fun game. I think I found a bug where if you kill enemies and they die in front of the door, you can't feed the fire and regenerate health. I found the game a little spammy as you just keep pressing the same button over and over again to attack. Cute graphics and although there was effort put into sound effects, they were strange to have. Overall good job!
Really cool game. I really loved the simple art style, though I still can't figure out what the bottom resource is supposed to be. I wish you stated somewhere (on the game page or on this page) the controls because I was sitting for the first few minutes trying to figure out how to play. I think there might be a bug with the sliders where you can just manually set them, so I was doing that for the first few minutes being really confused XD.
Once I figured I could move around, the sound radar was awesome and was really intuitive to use.
Great job! One of my favorites so far.
Windows folder appears to be empty.
This game was pretty frustrating to play, but for some reason I still kept wanting to give it another shot. An extra second or two would have been nice in most instances, and the game demands absolute perfection.
Jump a fraction of a second too early? You die. Jump a fraction of a second too late? You die. Miss a jump? You die. Take the wrong path? You die. Hit a wall while jumping? You die.
All that being said, I strangely like the game. The trial and error was fun to play! Great job! You created some simple mechanics and played around with them effectively in your level design!
Fun game! Graphics look really nice and I like the twist where you need to press space to "jump" upwards.
