Great looking game, at one point I clipped out the body and couldn't get back in. Also, why a installer? Zip files are way handier. The game itself is very good btw, I enjoyed it. Also, good music.

@wormholegames Oh... I didn't realize it was an installer, I updated the page with a single runtime executable. It'll be easier. Sorry for that... And thanks for the feedback!
Fun game! Graphics look really nice and I like the twist where you need to press space to "jump" upwards.
Cool game. I think it's interesting how you can move the heart around by shooting at it. Though it was annoying when the enemies were inside the heart and you couldn't hit them because the heart was blocking your bullets. I like the artstyle! Overall a nice game, good job!
Loved the visuals and the gameplay. Simple and very effective. The gravity aspect is really neat. Great job!
Design wise, this is a very clever game ! The style is very original and works well with the game. Thanks for your entry !
That's really impressive for a solo project! A tip of my hat to you, good sir! Graphics are nice and clean, music is energizing and the whole thing feels just good. Thanks to the design, I even forgot that you went for the theme that I currently hate, as it's everywhere and it's not like we need more reminders ;)
If I have one complaint, it's that constant pressing of space to stay up and hunt the greenies was a murder on my thumb. So I found a comfortable place to perch and only moved sparingly.
@sheepolution Thanks for your feedback. I knew this would be a problem, that's why you're able to move the heart by shooting at it, but sometimes it is not enough, i'm sorry. I'll try to find a solution for a post-jam version.
@fabula-rasa Thanks for the kind words! I know the "virus" theme was not very original but I didn't get very inspired by the theme. I made the choice to have fun making the visuals and the music rather than a good theme haha. And sorry for your thumb.. I hesitated between different movement styles but I can understand how this one can be frustrating :/
And thanks everyone for the comments <3
super duper fun, still within the theme which is pretty good as i expected it to be different according to the description, there's an issue where the viruses go inside the heard and it's leaning on the hand so that makes them impossible to kill, other than that the game looks and feels very good!
@hamzeh I know this issue and I'm sorry for that. One way to go is to shoot at the heart so it go away from the virus, but that's clearly not a clean way to manage the issue. But I'm glad you had fun ! Thanks for the feedback!
Hehe, that was pretty fun. I liked that you have to keep jumping and shooting by pressing the mouse and space bar fairly fast. Made it feel action packed. Moreover, the fact that the heart kept moving around and couldn't be shot through made for a really hectic time of getting to the other side of it or moving it to get germs off of it. Well done!
Nice graphics
The graphics fit the style well and the game play is very interesting.I liked the idea of having to jump to go up and falling down. I did find it hard to get the heart unstuck from some places while shooting the viruses though.
Appreciate how cohesive the visuals and sound were. Gameplay was a little wonky, the viruses seemed to just get inside the heart's bounding box and become impossible to hit. Eventually I accidentally bounced myself out of the body and was unable to re-enter. The tuning on the space-to-jump added a fun and unique element.
A good fun game, even if my hand now does hurt from pressing space so much. I had one problem where the virus git stuck inside the heart's bounding box and that meant I couldn't shoot it.
I really liked the visual finish of the body in the background so I was a little disappointed in the contrast between that and the player character and enemies. I don't feel like they go well together visually. That being said, the stark color-contrast works for readability. Again the background art really spoke to me! In terms of gameplay I had some issues with the vertical controls. The moving heart added interesting variation on gameplay and I chuckled every now and again when I found myself trying to keep the heart within an arm or leg
Real fun game with cool gameplay and graphics. Good job!
Neat little game, cool art and a fun beat to play the game under.
Hi there! I liked the concept and the presentation. I think being able to move the heart around was specially interesting. I found a bit annoying to have to press space the whole time to move around. Overall it feels solid for a jam, good job!
It's quite literal interpretation of the topic, and it turned out pretty well! And liked the visual. Generally challanging game, liked the mechanics of pushing the heard. Good job!
