Wonderful art style, and I really enjoyed the audio design. Would love to see more

Wonderful art style, and I really enjoyed the audio design. Would love to see more
Cool Concept, I like the design
Awesome Game, very satisfying like feeding Luma in Mario Galaxy
Beautiful design, can tell a lot of effort was put into the environment and visual style. Great Job!
Awesome concept, and well executed. Gameplay was great, had a tough time with the rally mechanic but it made the countdown seem more suspenseful. Overall 10/10 Would SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS again.
Love the artwork and the controls, great job
HTML is Down
Wow thanks for all the positivity and notes, as for enemy collision i had to remove due to a bug but hope to implement during the Jam. Y'all are amazing Thanks
@davidsheadgames this was actually a bug , looks like i never actually initialized the .wav file for the hit thanks for pointing this out
Wow, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for playing and for your feedback. I've a debt of gratitude to all of you. If you enjoyed the Compo Release, I've created a ['Post LD Version'][1] that includes many community changes.

Hilarious, thank you!
Great art style and sound, very challenging and lots of fun. I was able to glitch through the walls at the room transitions, but wasn't able to replicate this more than 2x. But very solid entry. Great Job!
Great game, i like the concept and blending mechanics 10/10
Awesome teaching tool for CSS would love to see more. Great job
This dinosaur is adorable, game is pretty relaxing. Would love to a full version where you can plant the extra apples by watering them or if the dino could lay eggs. Great level design and art. Well Done!
Brilliant game play, incredible mechanics. Well done!
Visuals are cozy, the flower is adorable and the cartoon style looks really nice.
The game loop was fun once I was able to figure out how to get the cart rolling. Graphics were nice I liked the characters added a good bit of variety to the graphics. Great Work!
Visuals are awesome, I liked the realm mechanics and the difficulty. Keep up the good work!
Nice Job, I liked how Hearth's audio would adjust based on distance. The art style was simple and effective and the mechanics to chop the trees was fun! Great Work!
Cool game, the dark atmosphere looked nice and made for a good challenge. Solid gameplay, but couldn't find any additional supplies. Auto reloading would be nice. Very good design.
I like the AP System and the mix of turn based strategy card mechanics. Incredible visuals and the sound design matched the atmosphere nicely. Great Job!
Very well done, would love to see more levels. Controls are great, visuals are stunning, and the level design is brilliant. I will say that inputs should be locked until the player is on screen. Great Work!
Tone was well established with the fading flame, and the enemy variation was great. Combat was felt solid, great idea to light the arrows up. Also ended up using the arrows to path out the branches so i wouldn't get lost. Very impressed you implemented a leaderboard. Great Job!
Well executed towers, I liked the upgrade path. The difficulty was well done, Hard Mode really pulled no punches. Audio was outstanding, the different tones for picking up crystals was a nice touch. Graphics from the tower attacks were great. Excellent Job!
I loved the music and the companion mechanics, I found the game frustrating at first until I realized there was a double jump lol. Made it to the dark blue area on a leap of faith and clipped through the world. The daughters jump was also tied to the players meaning she was basically able to fly through the green area. Great environment and platforming. Well done!
Great character choice for the mechanics. I like how bright and colorful the sprites were, scrolling background and shadows is a nice touch. Audio is great and the leader board integration is really impressive for such a short development time. Great Job!
Art Style is amazing, the towers, crystal, and the color scheme look fantastic. Audio is pretty groovy as well. The levels are fairly balanced. Would have given fewer lives or more enemies per waves. Great Work!
Great concept and well executed. The art style really matched the sound choice to create a nice *aesthetic*. Ton of fun, Good Job!
The rigging for the run animation is really well done, would love to see a full version
I commend you for trying to go multiplayer in a weekend. Gameplay was good, tank controls were fluid. Well Done!
Interesting concept and great execution for a procgen runner. Style was really well done and gameloop was satisfying. Would like to see more movement replacements if the level design would allow. Really earned the humor rating lol.
Really clever, I liked the dash combat and the ways you used the frame itself. Very Good!
I like the concept, made for an interesting tycoon experience, ended up letting the monsters loose, cause I already had the entry fee lol. The art looks nice and the building mechanics are great, I liked that I could place a glass wall without removing the existing wall. Didn't fully understand the door mechanic, but I didn't have many guests. Great Job!
Wasn't able to launch; it looks like I was missing some libraries:
libjpeg-8.dll
libpng16-16.dll
libtiff-5.dll
libwebp-7.dll
Wasn't able to find downloads, are these external libs?
I like your take on the theme, and the particle effects looked great. Placing the yellow towers was using the mouse change instead of mouse position. Beyond that I wish there was more enemy progression to balance. Keep up the Good Work!
Great concept. Mechanics and resource management was cool! Maybe make the options that you don't have energy for unavailable.
Graphics look nice and the atmosphere and level design is great. Nice Job!
Scrolling to the bottom of the page you find commentary that is polite and positive. Outlining the points the writer enjoyed about the experience and some constructive criticism. Excellent Job!
First of all I would like that thank everyone for your feedback. So happy to hear how much y'all are enjoying playing. I love how the comment section has almost become a leaderboard, maybe I can integrate one for the rolling release.
@nick-rafaiski Added back audio rating, wasn't sure if the audio would work, was totally mute on a few other systems. Thanks!
@mudlee @horbee No external libraries were used
Soundtrack is outstanding. Dark level was super difficult but credits track is totally worth it. It seems like the levels weren't really designed to be played backwards or with looping back to the start in mind. Just carry the plant, lol. Great Job!
Great concept and superb graphics and gameplay. Tutorial was comprehensive, didn't really understand the oil mechanic though. Very Fun!
Runs well, sliders for resource management is a cool idea. Maybe add a reset on the lose screen to retry
Controls were tough, but once I got used to them game play was good, couldn't figure out the gate though. Really good game, clever use of the theme.
Solid Game, Visually superb, I liked how simple the style was. Gameplay was good, didn't realize that the creatures would burn, so I died the first few times. Great Atmosphere and Models. Good Job!
Fun game, very difficult. Cool art style, I like the animations and the lighting effects. I do wish you could auto fire. Kept running into invisible walls, wasn't sure if it was just too dark or something.
Incredible weapon variety, solid combat, and the soundtrack is excellent. Great Job!
Great game, Audio matched the scene and the visuals were simple yet effective. Game loop was solid, I thought controlling two entities would be difficult, but you pulled it off surprisingly well.
Cool game, I liked the loop of finding the most effective path to pick off the blues. Noticed a glitch where the timer decay speed does not reset after you respawn, had to full restart. Solid world design and graphics were nice. Great Job!
Interesting tycoon sim, I liked the security fix. Really well done!
Really cool, took me forever to figure out the rope bridge. Great point & click adventure, sunrise was super rewarding. Graphics looked really great and it music choice was good for the atmosphere. Great Job!
Resource management is well done. The crafting is pretty clever, I could imagine a version with a full matrix of different elements. Excellent Job!
Looks amazing, great art and audio. I liked this take on the theme.
I would guess the rotation is to fire vertically, but that is almost never needed. Cool idea regardless.
Interesting concept, I like that you can reshuffle the audio, by relaunching. Pretty challenging, I was able to get 2 tiles on a loop, but I wasn't sure if the rest would if I were better at rhythm. Cool idea and well executed!
I enjoyed being able to pick your play style, game loop is fun. I was a bit confused with the point system. Awesome job!
Cool concept I liked the lighting and how it would change based on your location and health of the torch.Liked the difficulty of the puzzles collecting all the gems. Would suggest a level reset button option if a level is accidentally made unsolvable. Very Good!
I love how bright and bouncy the cubes are. Style and the map generation works really well. Great job!
Looks incredible, perfectly captures the style of older low poly games. Would love to see in a more fleshed out setting, maybe give the vehicle some influence over the camera. Well Done!
Interesting game play, very fun. I liked the sound effects and backtrack. Found it very difficult until I realized you can destroy meteors while paused. Great Job!
Very Fun! Art style is incredible, the lighting on pickups and entities looks astounding. The audio sounds great. Game loop is satisfying, wish there were a cooldown on respawning to make the health matter. Beyond that the game is solid, played for a while and really enjoyed the gameplay. Excellent Job!
Bugs: If you don't attack you can just upgrade your char infinitely; Ended the game after getting knockedback through a rock and could not escape;
This game is incredibly fun, i liked the tycoon style. Finally beat it with sweatshops. Excellent take on the theme, Great Job!
Couldn't get the game to display, after 'loading game scene' it displays SLOW MOTION at the top of the screen and gives me a 'you survived x seconds' message. I like the engine, and the game gif looks nice.
Incredible audio work, the spinning thing really seemed like solid metal with the sound effects. Great music all around brilliant. Very fun concept and levels, and the visuals had a really cool emissive glow. I recognized your UN on your review and remembered playing Dummy Doggy in April and this is a major improvement. Keep it up!
Incredible, Its so cool to see this on an NES emulator. Fascinating! I liked the style a lot. Great work!
The card mechanic was very well done, I liked that it counted sequences and sets. Enemy variation was nice too, it kept the game new while looping through the dream. Thanks for the game!
UI was well done, I liked the message and that you are bringing awareness to the disorder and ways to support foundations dedicated to helping those with it. Keep up the good work! Very clever title too.
Loved the banter, absolutely hilarious, the gameplay was quite solid as well, I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get to my seaside holiday as the levels were looping, but the dialogue made it seem like I was progressing. The car controls were well executed too. Great game, keep it up!
That escalated quickly. I like the checkpoint system and the graphics. Thanks for the game!
Solved, but couldn't enter on the keypad. I didn't see the disclaimer on your post and started digging in the source code to try to figure out the solution and saw the keypad wasn't finished lol. Very cool idea, I liked the environment and the voiced character was a nice addition. Very well done, would love to see more. Thanks!
Excellent game, i liked the message and the retro style graphics especially when the boxes fall out of the gba style grid. Great job! Keep up the good work!
Wow, incredible concept. I liked the UI and the community stats. Well done!
Very clever game, I liked the visuals and the puzzle element was totally unexpected. Had some performance issues on windows but I alt tabbed and refocused the window seemed to fix it. Great game, keep it up!
I loved the atmostphere you were able to create, if there were enemies I might have been 2spooked to finish it lol. The exploration of the labyrinth was awesome, great use of the theme. I enjoyed finding the character upgrades, paths, and all of the different puzzle sections. Great work, Thanks for the game!
Exceptional level design and concept, sound design had an almost oddworld vibe. Great work!
I love this, i liked the acapella and hand drawn assets. Well done, very heavy subject matter. 10/10
Wonderful style, and concept. Environment was very well done. Great work!
Incredible! I liked how much depth the game had, and the mechanics of creating the loops for the crew. Well done!
Combat is refreshingly unique, brilliant! I liked the art style as well.
11th! I love the idea, great execution looks very good. Ending was hilarious!
I like this take on the theme. The variety of enemies and progressive difficulty kept it interesting. Great visuals and level design. Well done!
Music is superb, and the item system has a lot of variety. Well done!
I liked the concept, very heavy and is a perfect fit for the theme. Would have liked to have been fired after not showing up for work for a week though their weekend policy was outrageous. The UI looked nice and I liked the depiction of the job. Great game, keep it up!
Great Game! Admittedly I was only able to beat it by reading the source code to solve the button puzzle, I thought it was some sort of binary puzzle with the clocks. Very good controls, I liked the art, and the story was cool too. Thanks for the game!
Love the rolling pin world and the platforming, rigging was exceptional on the character and zombie. Great work!
I liked the level design and the environment, the smiley once you beat the level and the animated scissors are great. Would have liked to see some sort of progression, like maybe two hula-loops. Overall great job, Keep up the good work!
The artwork is great, I like the variety of traps and enemies. It was interesting to find the traps that work well together like the, slow downs and the fire. Thanks for the game!
Finally managed to crack the leader board, that's such a cool feature to have given the timeframe. The shovel upgrade a great addition. Keep up the great work!
Music is incredible, the story was great very surreal. I didn't like the maze parts at first, but they started getting more interesting as you progressed. I liked the climbing portions and the final maze. Spencer's voice was pretty good, some of the dialogue got repetitive walking down the halls. That being said, you should port other platforms so that more people can play it - I guess the climbing would be tough though. Great work, thanks for the game. And double thanks for reminding me i can sideload apps onto the quest. Keep up the good work!
Game looks awesome, the lighting effects on the spells are cool, spell variety is good as well. Notes everywhere are hilarious. Encounters and pacing are excellent. Keep up the good work!
I liked the music and the ghost runner (I was hoping it would show all of the previous runs, not just the best lol). Great idea and great execution, the glow effect was awesome with the shadows from the platforms. I'm way too dumb for the last two sections where you have to ascend vertically, spent 5 minutes per run on those last two checkpoints. Awesome job! PS: (HTML Version hangs on load)
@karlipoppins Firefox - took some screen caps. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13LatZYv25t76e9zUNIemHo_VxBNeRjIF?usp=sharing
Game looks great, played on a quest w/ link cable. I liked the music and the futuristic glow on the models. Very fun, I like the idea, i think it would be cool if there were a horizontal mode too. Easy to pickup and play since you don't need a controller. Great job!
I like the environment, lighting, and the models were very well done. Pulled the body to the wrong side of the highway at first, didn't read the objective. Eventually got there, and actually started down the trail without triggering the dogs, I took the objective too literally; started 'backing away slowly', and ended up backing off of the map, lol. Loved the resolution. Thanks for the game!
Visual style is great, characters and environments are all well designed, controls are really snappy. 10/10 would go hard on endless mode. Great work!
Awesome text based, city management sim. Crashed on day 2, but I like the idea.
EDIT: @luthwyhn, its a hard crash to exit, the program just closes after hitting 0 on day 2. (Happened twice). Actually, it managed to fix after i launched from the console.
Art style is incredible, 2D X 3D looks awesome. Procedural generation works flawlessly. Keep up the great work!
I liked the idea of adding more rogue like elements; like items to boost mining speed or jump higher. I liked the baked potato-y moles. You should check out bfxr too, i think the game could benefit from some sfx. Great job on the movement. Keep up the good work!
Had fun with the game, would have liked to have at least some control in the water though. wasn't sure if it was supposed to stop at the 3rd tier of fish, but I took that as a win! Thanks for the game.
Great soundtrack, compelling story, and incredible artwork.
Awesome game, the platforming was very solid, and the added challenge of the drill was a ton of fun. I didn't realize you could jump on the robots until the area where it's impossible to pass otherwise. The switches mechanic was cool, i liked the sfx. One issue when hitting the retry button, the Timescale was decreased. Great idea, great game.
Lighting effects are incredible. Super pretty game with a satisfying ending. I like how the strategy pivots around level 30 from a reactionary to a more careful spelunking approach. Those angler fish disparities are unforgiving, got caught in the middle of those more than once lol. Great job, thanks for the game.
I like your take on the theme, very fun survival game. Art and music are great. Keep up the good work!
Art style is great, i like the hand painted look of everything. The resource management was tough, but fair. The environments were well done and the game was very fun to play. It was difficult in the 'cellar' level to see where any of the enemies were so that was kinda a trial and error run. I liked the music on the final level. Great job, Thanks for the game!
Cool idea, very satisfying to get to one of the zero blocks and you can just free mine until you run into digits. The point system was good and I liked the health refill when you get to a chest. Art looked good as well, Great job!
I like the hand drawn style, music was groovy. Thought the submarine moved a bit slow, would have liked to upgrade the speed. Great job on the world building!
Riding in the mine-cart was super fun! I like the environment and the character was well done. Great choice of music. I did run into a bug where I hit a teleport sign and I couldn't ride the mine-cart anymore, I also got stuck in the bowl after the first drop off a couple times. Great game, very pretty and enjoyable!
I like the music a lot, and the particle effects were well done especially for the doors/portals and the projectiles, i like the bullet hell boss. The attack pattern was pretty repetitive, more variation could go a long way on the boss fight. The story had no business being that air tight, lol, could have chalked it up to magic powers and would have had the same effect. World looked good and i liked that the slider was immediately available on the main menu. Keep up the good work!
Couldn't figure out the combat, ended up kiting the enemies around the perimeter while they all danced in the center lol. After reading your comment about the sword hold up doing damage I managed to hit a few, but it was kinda tricky not to get hit while doing so. Controls work well otherwise and the art looks incredible. Would be interested to see the upgrade system realized. Thanks for the game!
This game is adorable. The assets are very well done and the gallary shows incredible depth and personality for these critters. Game play reminds me of a mini game i used to play, but not half as cute. Thanks for the game!
I like the style, the blackout environment on colorful background looks cool. The secret area was a nice addition. Run animation was smooth and the the music was spooky. I like the idea, but i think it would be better as a type of infinite fall game rather than racking up points until you fall to the bottom. Great job, thanks for the game!
Pretty game, glowy particle effects and materials looked very pleasant. I was probably doing the combat incorrectly by clipping into the enemies and spamming the attack key, but the lance wasn't very responsive. Peeked at the source code, I'd say that it would probably be better to use a timed cooldown rather than a collider on the CanAttack(). I liked all the motivational notes everywhere. Great game overall, keep up the good work!
Love the music, and the sfx 5/5 Audio for sure. I liked the slow motion effect when you're aiming the jump. Wasn't really a need to deal with the enemies, i guess the bottom up approach is so you don't get cornered when falling. Great job!
The art looks pretty good, and the connection thing works really well. Would have liked some way to upgrade the rover with better ways to find the ore. Radar, blast mining, rail gun. Or if the ore would be adjacent to other ores so you could just drill around, somehow making them easier to find. Great job in the time-frame. Keep up the good work!
404? EDIT: Very nicely done, I liked the art style and that you included an app icon. The name was a good choice as you get a clear goal. After fully upgrading all stats i was only able to get to depth about 650. Had to restart a few times (the buttons at the bottom of the screen were very close to where my phone gestures to close the app). Beyond that, very fun game!
Very fun! I liked the exponential scoring system and the sword was awesome, the angle was a bit off i think for how someone would hold it though. Ended up falling through the world on the way back up, you didn't really need to memorize the colors as you could kinda tell which door would work, and which wouldn't. Still very cool to make a VR experience on a Jam deadline. Great Work! PS-the apk version does not load properly on Quest 1.
Sprites are very well done; would have liked to see the shop system make it in. Game looks and plays great, keep up the good work!
The physics are so cool, very fun to fling the characters with the water blocks. Great concept, great execution, super cute! Thanks for the game.
The models look great, I liked how it got darker each level; both showing progression and increasing the challenge of navigating the shark infested depths. 'Terrible music' is part of what makes these games so great IMO. Only issue is I would have like to be able to pause, but dying wasn't of too great a consequence so it worked out. Thanks for the game.
The movement is very solid and the environment was very fun to float around. Great world building, pretty limited variety, but you don't even really notice in-game thanks to the props. Seems like something is wrong with the lighting. I liked the enemies, audio was good too. Thanks for the game!
Beautiful game, music lends itself nicely to the visual style. Awesome idea, great execution.
I like the UI effects, typing out the lines and having the cards deal out. Great game, keep up the good work.
Great game! Incredibly fun to stack up the buildings. I like that you could continue after the win condition. The tornado is probably the most OP disaster, that and meteorite birds. Fair, but I think the other disasters could have been more destructive. Great idea, great execution. Thanks for the game!
Amazing visuals, and the sound perfectly matches the minimal/retro style. I liked flip jumps on the player, and the PB system. I agree with the other commenters about the respawn times, however it does incentivize skill by making the process to start the next run longer. Tutorial level is a nice touch as well. Great work, keep it up!
Great art style, character control is good. I like the concept for switching between the modes for traversing the levels. Puzzles were well though out too. Beautiful, thanks for the game!
Tons of fun, I thought the grappling mechanic was executed well. Graphics and audio are great. One of the most fun games I played, couldn't put it down lol. Great job!
I'd have never though about how difficult it is to keep an island from tipping over at sea. I like the UI and the models/water look great. Great game, very fun!
Visually stunning, great movement, and catchy audio. Very nice game, I liked the platform physics of trying to balance the table while it's shifting. Great work!
I like the models and enviroment, great concept as well I would have liked to pick the objects i was stacking somehow. Nice game! PS You can set the 'Canvas Renderer' to scale with the screen size (So you're not required to play full screen).
Controls are good, I liked the camera shift/spin out when you crash. Level generation works is well executed. Keep up the great work.
I liked trying to balance everything, the trade-offs made for a very fun game. The cards were hilarious too. Great UI, self explanatory and easy to understand. Great job!
I like how the increasing difficulty is balanced against the power ups you collect, where collecting enough of the rate of fire power-ups you'd actually stand a chance against the cat onslaught. Very fun, nice job!
Love Pico games! I like the style and the take on the theme. Not super noticeable, but I think moving up and left at the same time was doubling the speed. Overall though, great game, keep up the awesome work!
Very fast paced, I like the infinite falling level design.
Brilliant concept. I like the idea of trying to orbit the planets to collect fuel. Made for a very fun physics game. Sounded great too, and the 3d models look awesome. Great job!
I like the strategy elements and trying to find what patterns work best against the waves. The music and art both convey a very dark tone, just beautiful. Very well done, high marks in every category!
I love the style and the branching story paths. Haven't played a text based game of this caliber in a while. Very well executed especially for the time frame.
I love the take on the theme, I liked the hex world and the models looked super detailed. Incredibly fun to play, those laser enemies though, slow down girl! Shooting worked really well, there were times when I was worried I would run out of ammo, but the game seemed to recognize and increase the drops. Great game!
So much fun! I liked the tile based dungeon crawler, level generation is really good. Ended up getting a drop that gave me 100+ sharpening stone, felt really good to just one shot everything after getting beat to death 100 times. Needless to say this game is amazing, for a compo entry coded in Java it's absolutely brilliant. I couldn't figure out the reaper sequence, I'm guessing its some sort of minesweeper puzzle? Regardless, this is easily one of the top games I've played this jam. Great job!
Great rhythm game, could definitely see something like this expanded to have a full track list. Very creative mix of hazards timed with the music. Well done!
The platforming is incredibly solid, i liked the upgrade trade-off. I felt like I could have kept going with 0:15, but I wanted to see if I could buy something that was more time than I had. I liked the level design and the enemies. Very satisfying to jump around the shield guys and get a crit on their back. Great job!
Have you read Elon Musks latest works? I thought I had a fool proof strategy (feet up and backback on the fourth seat), and then I got arrested. I didn't realize it was a crime to take up space, lol. I love the art style, great concept and I really appreciate you posting a web version. Awesome job!
I liked the balancing mechanic and the art style, high marks in innovation for making a GB rom. I was always terrible at the manuals in skating games, but it was cool to use that as its own game (very nostalgic). Only managed to get to SKA. Great concept and execution.
Awesome game, spent a ton of time trying to climb the leaderboard. Idea was well executed and easy to understand. I liked the scoring system and the pigs were adorable. Great job.
Whatever the last option is on the bar, it's extremely efficient. Really happy when I deployed a firefighter, I saved a farmer. What a cool game, super unique and well executed.
Very nice visuals, I liked the audio as well. Great concept and execution, I'd agree that the game would benefit from a world border such that the inevitable isn't infinitely delayed. Very fun though, well done!
Very cool that you were able to use Rust! Game was pretty fun, kind of like a Pacman X Snake Game. Very cool, high marks for innovation for sure.
Pachinko has chosen! I loved the ending, i like the branching story and how there is an endless mode. Great entry, keep up the good work!
Ended up running out of gold, I think I bought way too many harvesters trying to speed up production, but I should have thought ahead that the only other gold would be guarded on the other end of the map. Ended up with one and a half knights and two sources of hafnium with nothing to spend it on lol. Great strategy game, pacing a little slow. The models look really good and the menu/upgrade system is done really well. Nice job!
Gripping story, amazing art and sound. I love the detective genre and this game absolutely nails it. The cel shading made the scenes really stand out. Very smart reuse of scenes and props. Awesome game!
The effects and graphics are really good, music was pretty catchy as well. I like the system for using loot from previous runs to increase the time for subsequent runs. the warrior does seems under-powered in comparison to the wizard, would have liked to see the other classes and maybe some reward for clearing all the rooms. For the time frame though the game looks and plays great. Well done!
Cool idea, great graphics and effects. I like the movement and the mob mechanics too. I agree with the other commenters that the zombies could have provided more of a challenge. Awesome game!
I like the factory building, and the environment looks nice. No matter which configuration I went with, I couldn't get past 3 orbits, but the building and deployment work great. Great concept and execution.
Very solid game, pacing was exciting and frantic. The idea of a turret placement mob wave survival is incredibly unique and well executed. Super fun!
Beautiful effects and art, love the narrative with the impending demise of the base. Especially like the Apocalypse mode. Great falling blocks game, the upgrade system vs the increasing quantity of debris was balanced well. Great entry high marks all around!
I liked the zombie apocalypse take on the theme, shooting mechanics worked really well. Nice job!
Incredibly fun, I like the idea of managing the resources and deploying the units. The turrets are awesome, not sure if it's intentional, but the game didn't seem to mind that I had -5 electricity from building them. I felt like I could have defended the fort indefinitely after like 10 resource drops. For some reason though when I deployed to pickup a drop, the guy just ran in circles around the drop, and everyone stopped shooting, but I guess defeat was inevitable. Happened just after I hit 1TB of data. Needless to say, I greatly enjoyed this game. Keep up the good work!
I like the base building and constructing a maze of walls for the enemies, great take on the theme. The music is great very sci-fi atmospheric, but I agree the game could certainly benefit some performance optimization. Great entry for the timeline. Well done!
I love this, the controls are great, super cute art and fast paced music. This is a great platformer. ~~Game kept crashing for me after the first bouncy level readout says (GR_D3D_Device -> CreateTexture2D at line 623 in file \TexturesM.cpp) May be that I'm on a Windows VM~~ (use wine for linux), but from the screen shots I can tell the game just gets better. Very fun with a great sound track. Thanks for the game!
@stephenwhoskins still ran into issues on the VM. So i tried running with wine instead and it worked, and I'm so glad it did.
Addendum to original feedback: Incredible game, solid platforming, the later levels really made you feel like you've mastered the controls. Great level design. Challenging, but very rewarding.
2022-04-11-220339_3640x2173_scrot.png Thanks so much for trying to solve that too. Means a lot!
I like the artwork, and the tile switching mechanic. I wish there were a hotkey to switch between character and tile movement. I guess that wouldn't have really worked on the mobile version though, very cool that you have that option btw. Great game especially for the time frame. Nice job!
What an interesting idea! I liked all the mini games. Once I realized the bike would recharge when you aren't mashing at full speed I managed to keep it going for a while. Great idea and great execution.
Thanks for all the positivity! @truth-defined The low poly look made it a bit easier since it didn't have to look good to have a 'style'. I had originally planned to model each of the rooms degrading, but i ended up cutting that for time. Glad you enjoyed it. @suvi you may be right, there's a bug with the unity Input class where playing in full screen loses the mouse position, I'll have to research how to fix it
So glad to see y'all like the entry, thanks to everyone for getting to 20.

I like the patterns in the world, very pleasing to look at. The oracle system and world building are great, I enjoyed the story. Super fun to chase the bunnies around. Great game!
I like the style, I agree with most of the other comments that the game could benefit from more modules. I liked the take on the theme. You absolutely nailed the KTANE aesthetic. Well done!
This is perfect, love the physics and the art style.
The item placement works really well and is a ton of fun. I like the low poly style and all the different models in the environment. Great take on the theme, the flavor text is a nice touch also. Keep up the good work!
Linux version worked for me, very nice resource management and the effects look nice as well. Great concept and great execution. Nice job!
Brilliant take on the theme, very nice UI, hilarious choices. Managed to keep a failing relationship for 22 days. Great job!
Love pinball, and this is a pretty good field. Physics felt a bit jumpy, but I like the look and feel of the game. Solid results for the time frame. Great job!
Tower defense is a great take on the theme, props for making a game in Java, it can be a pretty difficult language for games. I think there may be an issue with the audio (I had some issues with that in my LD 45 entry that I coded in Java. I'm pretty sure there's something with the way audio bit rate works). Anyway cool idea, and I liked all the different worms. High marks for innovation for sure.
I liked that the plants go flying after colliding with the watering can. Great artwork, the increasing complexity of plant care makes a good concept, and the plant report card at the end of each day is a nice way to breakup the pacing. Awesome game!
I like this take on the theme, very nostalgic to play the balloon game again. I like the style and the game plays very well. Great Job!
Great concept, very easy to pickup, love the reasons for losing. Could definitely see this expanded to some QTE game. Nice job!
Very nice battling system with the shifting perspective and the level progression. Music is pretty catch as well. I like the smoke effects with the attacks as well. Nice job!
Great effects, super original, and quite fun. Cool that you had dialogue and an a cappella back track. Great entry!
Music is great! I like the concept and the controls are solid. I didn't make much progress due to the some of the humans making it across and just standing on the other side, then nobody else would spawn in. It was fun to push the people around though. Good job!
I like the music, it really adds to the frantic pace of trying to stop these cats from destroying everything (Which, as a cat owner, I can confirm is inevitable, mutant or no). The art is really good too, I like the all the cute variants and the environment is done really well. Great work!
Love the style, it reminds me of a bowling alley laser-tag arena. Snail was terrifying with that maniacal laugh, immortality, and teleportation. Great design and humor. I like that the moral support gun fired giant ammo and made a synth clap sound. Awesome game!
I like the art style and the sound. The sheet sprites especially add a ton of character. I was ready to hit the open sea, that tune was so catchy. Very nicely done, and a great take on the theme.
I like the style, and the exposition is top notch. Tons of variety in the enemy patterns, good design for a bullet hell. Great job!
Loved the ending. The audio was a good choice, despite occasional cuts. Really clever level design and puzzle elements. Great game!
I like the mixing and the trial & error process for finding new recipes. It was stressful at first trying to find something to delay dying (I was hoping the pig would give me some tips or something), but once I did, the challenge was just lost because the ingredients are so abundant you could basically just live forever on any potion. The concept is good though and the inventory and crafting systems work well. Nice job!
I like the style, reminds me of Final Fantasy I. The combat and the world design is well done. One thing i noticed was that the player moves 2x as fast when going vertically and horizontally at the same time, easiest way is to set the speed to half speed when updating both x&y. I like the enemies and the story as well (PS the jar runs fine on linux, and major props for writing with vanilla Java. If you're interested you should check out Unity. If you know Java you basically know C# already)
I like the concept and I enjoyed frantically slinging blocks over the wall in hopes that I can get closer to the top. Didn't realize until I got to the comments that it's actually possible to win (I'm very bad at this game). Tons of fun though, and the models, environment, and particles look really good. Awesome job!
I love the story and the world building. Great use of the minimal color palette and sound effects. Super interesting as a point and click adventure through memories in their final moments. Just brilliant!
So cute, great art style. Well done!
I like the art style, and the combat mechanic is fun as well especially with the different enemy patterns. Great job!
Great atmosphere, the music was very ominous, like some extra terrestrial was about to attack. Ended up crashing into everything, but I like that you made a ship with proper space-flight controls. Awesome game!
I really enjoyed the goal system for each level, very fun. I couldn't get the textures to load in at first(the entire screen was black with magenta outlines, could just be a linux issue because it seems to work fine on windows) I liked the hat system too. Great use of physics. I also like that my progress was there when I reloaded the page, serious innovation. Well done!
