Link is broken, I'd be happy to re-review if you get it up.
Well made! Very nice calming audio and lots of thought into the game - nice!
that was actualy a real neat innovative game. A bit more explanation would have been nice but despite that once I got a hang of it I had a great time!
Nicely made game. One suggestion I have is to have a bit more information on what the various objects do available in-game: either through pop-ups, or a help screen (this is something I always forget to do in my games too :)). I think the core game loop is great, and I think there's a lot of potential here.
438 coins aaaa, almost.
I am one of those people who likes this kind of game and of course I like this one too. I spent over an hour trying to beat it and I give up.
My biggest complaints are the camera and click detection. I like this micro and macro gameplay but the control its too annoying. The range stuff is not clear enough. And when you have too many stuff in America is hard to manage, not for the difficulty of the game, but for this annoyances.
Some work on a better UI would be nice but I like how you have to discover the information by yourself. (Like noticing where it say what building do what)
I would love to see a bigger game with this kind of gameloop.
Thanks all for the reviews and plays!
@irx99 My current record is near 600 coins. My current strategy is to open with 3 miners as they get chance to give early gold. As a player that played this thing a lot already, your pains are exactly what I see too, UI *is* hindering gameplay. I'm going to overhaul it for maybe a Kongregate game in future.
Thank you! 😁
I've played it for a bit.
The concept is near - it could be extended into much bigger colonization game. It has some flaws (controls, speed, lack of setting up some automation) ... but generally is good. I enjoyed it a lot.
Keep up the good work!
Really cool game concept and I could see, with a little more speed, the game could become really intense. If the ships moved faster as the years progressed I imagine that could be a great mechanic. Fantastic time spent with it so far! :)
Wow, this game is very addictive haha. I really enjoyed playing it, I didn't notice the time passing. Really good experience. Keep working on a full version. I see that you are on the right path. Congratulations.
Such a good game ! Pretty graphisme and really good idea. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the game but I spent a good time and I think I'm going to retry ! ^^
Very nice game!
This game is incredibly fun, i liked the tycoon style. Finally beat it with sweatshops. Excellent take on the theme, Great Job!
Nice game, the graphics reminded me of the old school 3D games. I liked the core game mechanic of a "looping resource management" system, very interesting and fun.
Only complaint I got is that it would be nice to be able to fast forward time, and not have to wait for the ships to reach the island.
Very fun game. Art looks amazing! Thank you for this great game.
liked what this game is.. has potential, my colony died pretty quick lol
Finally the proof that the Earth is flat. The game looks absolutely gorgeous. I would need a more comprehensive tutorial to really enjoy it.
I really liked it! by the way, I haven't seen similar games here yet.
Interesting take on the theme. The game has a very nice atmosphere as well and a nice kinda board-game-feel to it. The gameplay is also quite addictive once you understand it.
I reckon it could do with some better tutorialisation though. It took me a little while to figure out the whole building system - for some reason it didn't occur to me I could click the arrows to select different types of buildings. 🙃 A more guided tutorial would help with this kind of game with so many interacting mechanics. And as others have mentioned, speed controls would be useful. Maybe event he ability to pause while I'm slowly figuring the game out 😅 (hmm though maybe that would take away from the challenge of the real-time aspect)
I saw above you're looking to overhaul it. Definitely looking forward to this!
Really fun and challenging game. Loved the idea and graphics. It's a bit tough sometimes and those poor colonists end up starving. But each run through is better than the previous, when you start getting the hang of it, and understanding the priorities.
GG overall. Love it.
I really liked it! It is challenging and addictive to play, well made! If I could change anything I would include some type of rotation to the camera so its easier to feed or sell the items. Lovely game!
My maximum was 453, i played it 3 times i think (it sa lot of time isnt it?) cool idea, camera was my biggest problem whole game, also in the late game it gets pretty click-intensive as i had to micromanage everything, some type of automation to buy would be nice. Good job!
I played it. I liked it. I failed it. But I still liked it! Tactical pause is would be nice to have. Great project, I will try post-ld version as well. Was not sure how to build stuff and it seems it is more profitable to wait for red food meter and feed later than earlier.
Here is my playtest:

@icxon Nice to watch you playing, you did well, compo version is very, very hard. Also, the drag UI had some problems.
I tried to fix it all in post compo version. I will soon submit it in Kongregate.
Thanks for playing and rating!
Europa Universalis meets low-poly art. Thus I loved it.
