Really cool! The music is great and I love the art style. I ended up hitting a collision bug and getting stuck above the game map, unable to save my helpless king
A surprising amount of polish and content! Well done!
Great game, congrats on your first release! 4 years ago I was 15 and making games too, keep going!! Loved the little juicy bits, like the squishy title screen text and the king bouncing on his throne. It was quite challenging, I think if the enemies dropped more $$ maybe it would be a bit easier? Wasn't sure how the towers were supposed to work, I bought one but couldn't tell what happened as a result. Great entry!
Well done, lots of juicy fx and cool style overall.
Beautiful effects. I love the mechanic where the king just sends more people after death.
An action tower defense game — neat! Controls are snappy. I got knocked outside of the play area once. Good presentation. Thumbs up.
@sergio-gonzalez apologies. I knew there were some bugs but I didn't have time to fix them.
@darriasart Thanks! It means a lot.
Very interesting game, but enemies constantly stuck in blocks. Once a player got stuck due to which it was not possible to continue playing.
@james-shipp Thanks! The towers end up in your item slot, where you can press space to deploy them. I would've written more in the how to play section of the menu, but I ran out of time.
Very Fun! Art style is incredible, the lighting on pickups and entities looks astounding. The audio sounds great. Game loop is satisfying, wish there were a cooldown on respawning to make the health matter. Beyond that the game is solid, played for a while and really enjoyed the gameplay. Excellent Job!
Bugs: If you don't attack you can just upgrade your char infinitely; Ended the game after getting knockedback through a rock and could not escape;
@nikond sorry about that! I'm aware of the glitches. Unity was giving collision problems and I didn't have time to figure it out.
@sacredbacon you do lose money (75-125) when you die. I'm sorry about the bugs, I'm aware of them, but I couldn't get any more fixed by the deadline.
Very impressive and polished for 48h! My opinion is that it's a bit tough: the sword seems pretty weak, and most of all it takes a while to set up a building. Maybe start with enough funds to buy 1 would be a good idea.
However it may be, I really liked it, good job!
@ironygames thank you so much for the feedback!
Nice graphics! Did you also made those sounds and music during 48 hours? That's impressive!
Btw, I got a bug that I was pushed into rocks area and cannot move out  . The king just keep shouting and I can do nothing XD
@houdou sorry about the bug. Everything was made in 48 hours. I can't fix every glitch on limited time unfortunately.
It was very cool! It could be a real long shot! Continue this way! I loved the art and gameplay! An autoclick could be useful but still, great work!!
Had a glitch where I was pushed into a wall by some fast moving enemies, and also it felt like the range on your sword should have been a bit higher or your hitbox a little smaller as sometimes I'd take damage because I was trying to get close enough to hit the enemy.
Still a great game.
Great game, very impressive for your first submission. There are a few bugs but they are all already mentioned above, keep it up!
This was actually pretty neat! I dig the monochrome + bloom look a lot. Once you get enough money for a couple turrets, it's pretty easy to get more and more until you don't have to do any more work yourself! I also found that if you double tap Tab while the shop is open, you can get to the upgrade store, and that they don't cost any money! So free sword upgrades forever! Fun stuff, and an excellent first release, well done!
Really good! The graphics were fantastic, I loved the glow effect on all of the pixels, it really made it a neat environment. The impact of my attacks felt great, with the sound effect and camera shake. The animation of the sword swing felt incredible too! also I like the potential for progress, with the ability to, as the enemies increase, be able to keep placing more and more defense mechanisms. I did get stuck outside of the map at one point, but luckily one of the fast moving enemies put me out of my misery almost immediately so it didn't really affect my game play. I would have liked to maybe see some animation in the enemies, but that's just something a little extra.
Again: really good, it was a pretty fun and challenging game! Well done!
I love playing classic 2D games like this, like [Terraria](https://terraria3.com). I've been addicted to it for years and never get bored.
