@genevieve-phillips which version did you download? If you have a vive it might not work
At least you tried to create a VR game during a jam, which is nice :D What was the original objective in your game?
Fighting felt good, even though I was surprised that the boxes attacked me, I thought it was inanimated objects at first.
You should make it possible to turn around with the right joystick, I'm not comfortable moving around in my small VR zone :(
Nice try anyway, it's still something that you should see as a good step towards a succesful jam! See you next time with a complete project :)
@rolly thanks :), I was planning on adding turning as the last thing, I had the inputs for turning setup just needed to add the physics. I didn't really have an original idea just you go through doors and try to find your way back. I should have made the boxes red to make it more obvious I did write it on the wall of the start area. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm glad it worked.
Brave attempt! Felt good tho for 72 hrs of work
@dom-de-re thanks :)
Great try! May not have been what you were looking for but keep your head up! This was good for a first attempt and being solo. Not to mention VR! looking forward to seeing what amazing worlds you create next :)
@arcanelemon thank you
I think it's cool what you were attempting to do! VR is a complex field, and it's great to take your first steps there! Looking forward to your next game!
@twistedhawk thanks. I'm actually working on a full vr game now.
Very fun! I liked the exponential scoring system and the sword was awesome, the angle was a bit off i think for how someone would hold it though. Ended up falling through the world on the way back up, you didn't really need to memorize the colors as you could kinda tell which door would work, and which wouldn't. Still very cool to make a VR experience on a Jam deadline. Great Work! PS-the apk version does not load properly on Quest 1.
@sacredbacon I'm working on a solution for the door problem. You are supposed to fall through if you choose the wrong door. I didn't test the apk version so that was expected.
First VR game I saw, but actually pretty awesome! Unfortunate that a lot of ppl wont be able to play it though :\
@leyamez I realize that. I am glad you enjoyed it tho
For a first game jam game that's also a VR game, this is pretty well made.
The fighting felt quite fluid and the game felt great to play, even though you ran out of time.
@phoenix-fireflower Thanks
Doors are slightly moved after passing , so i didn't need to remember sequence to reach high score.
I think that if you add sounds the game would feel much better.
Overall you had good idea for this game. Enemy cubes are distracting player when he/she try to memorize sequence.
Kudos for VR :)
