Great mapping! Loved that you could just go through the landscape
Good racing game, was very easy :-)
That water shader :smirk: Great job and thank you for the game
Great work. Nice water shader. I liked the pick your player.
I thought I'd never play as Tony Hawk again ahahah It was fun
I found the true meaning of winning, so theres that! Fun game. The music was a pretty repetitive loop (ha!) but it had a great groove that I really enjoyed. Nice job!
The water was really well done with the racers bobbing along the river. Well done on getting this done so quickly! Great stuff!
This was a super chill game. I thought it was pretty fun. Some collision issues with the edges but that wasn't a big deal. Great job!
Great interpretation on the theme. I love lazy rivers. I like that there were multiple characters to choose from.
Nice and relaxing, please make a series of loop cat plushies. Thank you.
So, uh, I'm guessing I wasn't supposed to be able to go through walls? I didn't actually notice at first until I turned too late once. Otherwise pretty chill.
Unusual interpretation, good idea and its implementation, thanks for the experience!
I did enjoy the water shader :)
I liked how even with the lack of collision with the walls the game didn't let me cheat my way to victory.
Nothing harsh to say here, it was fun and had replay value :)
Outstanding!
That was my first Ludum Dare game that had a character selection screen. Nice!
Cool little game. Nice character selection screen, controls were good, the boosts was a nice touch. The only thing I am wondering is, did the power ups do anything? (I missed 1 :( )
Really nice game! It included some features rarely seen in Ludum Dares (character select, (bad) AI opponents, that amazing water shader), which was rather impressive. I managed to find all? 3 victories. The shadows were a bit too strong (maybe you forgot to Generate Lighting in Unity?) and the landscape had no collisions, but other than that, great entry!
Best entry yet. Look no further, we have this ludum winner RIGHT HERE. Congrats !
Enjoyable chill game. I was able to go through walls, I think if you could use just a 2d sprite instead of a sphere for the character on the tube it could help with the immersion
Had fun. The character select was a nice touch.
After finding an alternate ending, I started looking for more hidden things. In the house? Under the fisherman? Nothing.
This game made me nostalgic for some racing games of my childhood, off-roading to try to find the invisible checkpoints that made the game think I completed a lap. Except off-roading here means traveling with my boat under ground. And my boat is Tony Hawk.
Wow, that's a really cool game. Choosing character is awesome and the water shader is amazing! Good job.
"Enjoy this water shader that i spent the majority of my 48hrs making."
I Did enjoy each pixel. Fun game, even nicer after I discovered that terrain limits are a matter of opinion and I could freely cross the track like no tomorrow.
Then I thought "oh what lies beyond this track? I want to see the open seas!", as your game kicked me out of the race. I took it for a success and I'm ready to score (5/5 humor for sure)
Great shader! :)
Nice idea for a game, looks like you ran out of time before you got to the actual mechanics. The music is nice, the graphics are decent, the water current is, well, not really there... Still, you participated, which does count!
This was amazing. It was hard to choose between "TONY HAWK" and "KING SHARK", but in the end I went with "PIRATE" because why not. The race was pretty easy at first, since the AI doesn't seem to use the boost ramps....then I realized the walls have no collisions. After that, it was just a matter of figuring out where the invisible waypoints are to find the optimal cheating path. :)
Also, the water looked good.
Nice job!
