404? EDIT: Very nicely done, I liked the art style and that you included an app icon. The name was a good choice as you get a clear goal. After fully upgrading all stats i was only able to get to depth about 650. Had to restart a few times (the buttons at the bottom of the screen were very close to where my phone gestures to close the app). Beyond that, very fun game!

Things I liked: - Good concept, even though it is a common interpretation of the theme - I like the progression of the game; any game with a shop already is a friend of mine - lots of things to hit and avoid
Improvements: - I was able to face-roll a play-through and get maxed out by just repeatedly starting a new game and pushing down (could be fixed by exponential gains and costs so that early game earnings can't get you very far) - bubbles/animations/dynamic lighting on the shop to make it more alive - a 'last depth/deepest depth' display on the buy screen so you know how far you've made it in the past - a gradient on the water as you get deeper to create a sense of depth as you progress - changing/more rare obstacles as you get deeper for a sense of progression - some ambient diving sounds - muffled sounds from hitting soft obstacles - deep thump sounds for hitting harder stuff like sharks - slow/soft/simple ambient music
Bugs: - didn't observe any

@bw-devel Thank you for comment and for so many details. Initially I added a lot of sounds, but game FPS dropped dramatically. I had not much time to debug the issue, so I remove almost all of them.
I think, you should improve graphics. But game not bad =)

Cool game, and nice to see mobile-first in a game jam :) Great job!
First things first, the choice of doing an android app is perfect for the gameplay. Having a 16:9 ratio would have been so tidious. Controls are responsive and the game loop is clean (dive, die, buy, repeat). I think a quick win is to give some juice to the game (particles, sound) and a death message.

Great game. Though a common interpretation of the theme, it was executed well. Responsive controls. A little bit of particle effects would make it even better!

Oh, nice, a mobile game! The only thing I noted was that the sub looked a bit TOO shiny compared to the background, a bit out of place, but that's not a huge deal! You could definitely expand on this in the future. :)

Not much to add to the comments above. Even though you cut most sounds, I _really_ like the two available! This simple piano gives do much! I wouldn't go so far to say I continued playing because of the piano jingles, but they played an important part!
Overall a really nice little android game.

@purrseus thank you! These two sounds indicate the cause of death - hitting the shark or shortage of oxygen. I had not enough time to make some popup or anything.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this game. Fun concept!
Fun little loop! This is a pretty hard game, and I think some runs I didn't have a chance due to a high concentration of sharks, but I played quite a few runs. I think it's interesting that after a certain point, purchasing things from the shop wasn't actually helping me, as I wasn't skilled enough to make use of any of it, hah. Nice work. =)
We had very similar ideas, I like how the speed and oxygen work together to create a risk/reward situation, it's so interesting in game jams to see all games that come from the same concept (submarine go down) and turn out differently, for instance having oxygen is something that never crossed my mind during the jam.
Nice simple game, was pretty impressed to see a shop in it!
