Quite a fun game.
quite funny. liking the PC master race vibes from it, those steam summer sales though, just as brutal as reality.
Pretty interesting concept. The gameplay was good and I really dig the graphics. However I didn't really understand how some of the mechanics work, The taxes for example would not increase. A tutorial or some tooltips would go a long way to helping with this. Also a minor thing but it would be nice to move the camera a bit. Overall a pretty good game with nice graphics and aesthetics and a nice bit of piano for good measure.
Really Fun, could spend hours playing.
Really like what you have done with your game. It genuinely feels like it came from an 80's arcade. The sound design was on point and I really liked the graphics/aesthetics. The game-play felt good. took a couple of tries to get the hang of it. through me off the you needed forward momentum to turn :P. I feel like it would work really well on mobile. The only issue is that the black holes are not obvious enough leading to pretty unfair deaths. and they either don't appear enough or don't get big enough fast enough to be seen a a threat. I was able to play for quite a while without encountering a single one, and that is without knowing where they actually where. Other than that really enjoyed the game and will likely play it again in the future.
Really enjoyed the game. You mentioned that you would be deploying to to mobile and I think that is a great idea. I feel that it would work really well as a mobile game. I think that the aesthetic the game is going for looks really good. nice, simple and clean. There is no visual clutter. Would have been nice if you added some music but overall a really good game. One of the better that I have played so far.
Pretty cool idea. Bit laggy with so many people. Felt a little too quick, I could not tell if what I was doing was having an affect. before I new it I had lost.
The Concept of the game is really good, the one issue that I have is that I encountered a fair couple of bugs while playing the third level. other than that was a good game that looks and sounds like a lot more time was spent on it than it actually was.
Really fun and novel concept. That is one skilled elephant:).
really fun and addictive, after having a climber nearly reach the rope only for another one to knock the whole tower down, I really just wanted to launch those little bastards into the stratosphere.
Love the art style and sound. fun and addictive concept. Quite enjoyed the lights turning off randomly too, definitely made for a more difficult experience. Well done.
Cool idea, simple to understand, unsure what else you could do to improve really, perhaps some more feedback to the player but that is more grasping at straws. overall well done.
@xparker Yes, All of this was made my me during the Jam.
Deffinatly interesting, I feel that the combat is a bit too hard from the get go, couldn't really get too far without dying. However I would really like to see where this could go.
Really nice game, overall well made, had a few clipping issues when using the time travel mechanic but other than that didn't have any issues. Only thing I would say might need improving upon would be that the controls felt a little floaty. Other than that this was a really good game.
Great work, really fun and stress inducing.
Definitely experimental and out there, so kudos for rolling the dice on this one. Unsure if it was the point but the game for me crashed a few to many times and I didn't really want to debug the json to figure out why.
Really easy to understand what to do, clear primary gameplay loop and surprisingly addictive. Don't really know how you could improve on this game. Well Done!
for a first game this is awesome, graphics are good, sound design is good, you even added some particle affects so kudos there. The only issue I can see is there isn't really a defined primary gameplay loop. There is definitely something special here though.
Interesting idea, quite fun, would be interesting on how to could be expanded upon.
I love this, has a similar feel to super meatboy and other precision platformers. Really clean and easy to pick up. That last level though, ho-boy that was actually difficult. Well Done.
This is BRILLIANT! One of the best games I've played so far. If you keep working on this please make it multiplayer.
Really fun and quite addicting. Really enjoyed the random effects mechanic, haven't seen that in this jam so far. Sound and music was great too. Would really have liked to see some more levels. looking forward to see where this game is taken.
Really well executed puzzle game. Simple and easy to pick up at any time. Well done.
Very interesting take on the theme. looked great and played smooth as butter. Well done.
Interesting concept. The physics felt really nailed down and well executed. Good game.
Quite fun to play. easy to grasp. music and sfx were great. Only issue I had was the ui was going off screen and I had no way to see some of the game. Other than that great work
I like that it was a more narrative focused game. Nice one.
Really good game. Loved the graphics and audio. How you managed to fit so much into such a short time is amazing. genuenly fun to play and loved some of the mechanics. The rock pushing puzzle was my favourite with the detail that you could push more rocks but slower. Only one issue I had was the collision when I was crossing the logs. Got to the crystal but kept getting caught on my way back and due to the timer running out couldn't move carefully enough. other than that though fantastic effort.
Interesting take on the theme. Playing this gave me vietnam flashbacks of those games you played at school to help you practice typing lol. overall, well done.
Nice simple game. I feel like it is missing some challenge though. can see definite potential in this game mind. Nice one.
Real fun to play, can see this becoming a full game on steam. Nice one.
Quite a fun and interesting puzzle game. Really strong core mechanic that works well. Really like the rewind after you fail. Clean graphics and good sound design that does exactly what it needs to do. Only thing is that it doesn't relate too strongly to the theme. Other than that it is a strong and well polished game. Well done.
Really fun and clear gameplay. Best game i've played so far. Well done
NNNB: Anyone feel free to enter their highest score to see who gets the true highest score.
Making a decent survival game is difficult but you have done it. I could probably play this for hours. I like the fact that the island has a bit of a mystery surrounding it too. Really like the art style too. kind of reminds me of old school harvest moon. Really good entry and well done.
Looks great, plays great. cool design and an interesting story. Not too sure how well it goes with the theme but maybe I might have missed something. overall well done though.
Interesting concept. Quite liked the stratagy aspect. took a few turns to understand what exactly was happening and why I couldn't place buildings down but other than that it was a great submission.
I feel like there was something hear, but for me it was near unplayable as I couldn't see my mouse to interact with things. I also had no idea how to win, I would just randomly complete the level not knowing how. The audio was good and visuals were ok but other than that I just didn't understand.
Really like the concept. Animation, graphics and audio are really good. Really nice game.
Love the visuals and sound design. Quite a cool concept. I recon this would make a really good mobile game.
Sorry mate but the game doesn't work. it boots in eventually but all i get is a blank skybox and some sfx.
I do enjoy a bit of existentialism. I strive to be able to have time to put cinematics in my entries one day. good effort, well done.
Interesting concept, liked the sound design. took a couple of goes to get the hang of it. Well done.
Really like the reasons people died. Made me chuckle a couple of times, nice touch. Really good game overall.
Really enjoyed the game. Felt like a full polished game. Only had one minor bug which was that you couldnt shoot when against a wall. other than that well done.
Got a score of 55. Could easily play for hours so I stopped when I still could. Great effort well done.
Annoying grannies is now my new favourite thing to do in a game. Well done.
Really enjoyed the slower pace of this one. That canal level was evil. had to restart so many times, but I got there in the end. I will admit in the earlier levels I purposly crashed a couple of ships for giggles but once I knuckled down I guided them to safety. I really like the sound effects too. Mouth sounds for the win! Really cool game, can't wait for more levels.
Cool concept and implementation/interpretation of the theme. I havent seen a red light/green light style game yet and this was done well. I the animations and were smooth and audio was good too. the only thing I would suggest is a way of finding the terminals easier, atm you basically just run across the map and hope to find one which can be annoying, especially paired with the timer system, maybe a pulse system to that could give you a hint when the red light it one or something to that affect perhaps. But, other than that I really enjoyed your game and cant wait to see where it goes from here.
Brilliant game, and great interpretation of the theme. Once I started writing down the answers I was able to keep my streak going, but near the end I didn't need it as muscle memory started kicking in. Completing this one was super satisfying too, Loved the ending. Fantastic job! Well done.
A cute puzzle game that is really easy to get to grips with but is surprising on how difficult some of the puzzles can be. My only note would be a minimap or something to make it easier to keep track of where the sparkies are. Other than that this is a fantastic game, well done.
Could spend hours playing this, well done. Got a bit stuck trying to figure out the exact movement patterns and behaviors of some of the enemies in the later stages but did get there in the end. Great game well done.
After 20 minutes of banging my head against a wall I finally beat the game. I love the art style and sound of the game and the feel of it being like one of those retro style precision platformers, eg: super meat boy. I didn't have too much difficulty with levels 1-4 but level 5 was evil. You almost owe me a new keyboard . I feel like the hit detection on the spikes is a little off, so many times I didn't touch them and I died, and the momentum movement was causing real problems when I was trying to be precise with my movement. Other than those two pain points though, this was a thoroughly fantastic game that I could easily sink hours into and not notice. Very well done.
A pretty cool concept here, Really like the audio/visuals feels very polished. I feel like the play area is a bit big for both how fast you move and your detection range, especially given how long you have to try and find everything, making it nearly if not outright impossible to find everything in time. But, overall a good game. Well done.
Really cool and unique concept that's well executed. It took me a couple of tries to fully get the hang of things but once I did it was smooth sailing(pun intended). I liked the background music too, as well as the detail of it speeding up as the timer ticks down, that was nice. A couple of other comments mentioned numpad support, or keyboard support, instead of just using the mouse, and I'd agree would make things a bit smoother but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed your game, well done.
A fun little game with some decent replayability. I saved many ice mice. This sort of reminds me of the tabletop game selfish(sci-fi version) where you need to not run out of fuel before reaching safety. I also liked the different descriptions and designs you gave each destination, definitely helped give a sense of world building. The art style was pretty cool too, where the art was 2D but the camera and world placement was in 3D, really cool and unique.
I feel like there could have been more obstacles or hinderances other than running out of fuel though. Maybe some of the animals wont like each over, so picking one would prevent you from picking another, unless you can deal with the consequences. Other that that though, this was a really enjoyable game. Well done.
I like this. A low stakes chill kind of game that is surprisingly relaxing and really easy to loose hours too. The only suggestion I have is to maybe make some of the colours more starkly different between each over, as some of them I though were one the correct colour when signalling the respective ship but was told it was wrong, Other than that really well executed. Well done.
I really like the concept you went for, and fair play building a 3d game when you say you normally work in 2d so well done. As others have mentioned a tooltip or something explaining what each building does and what it was would have been really helpful. Also I just could not get the cables to connect consistently I don't know how I got the ones I place to be placed in the first place, so maybe a bit of text explaining that. but other than that, a really cool Idle game I would probably spend ages on when I am supposed to be working.
I am not a fan of horror but I really enjoyed this one. The visuals are not over the top and gory but still convey the feeling of dread and, well, horror very effectively. The jump scares are also effective without becoming annoying too. I liked the communication mechanic as well. really added to the stress of the situation. One final bit, I absolutely love the design of the creature. really leaning into the Lovecraftian theme and feel there. All in all, fantastic job well done.
really digged the concept and loved the atmosphere. well done.
Had a decent primary loop, and a well executed scanning system. I also did like the upgrade system and the gradual unlock of more minerals to mine. The only thing I would note, and it was a point brought up from feedback in my game, is that there should be something I am working towards, like a quota system or something. Other than that though, really well done.
enjoyed the calmer pace of this one. I put on a LoFi playlist and just chilled out. I did like it when Meina spoke, added a bit of charm to her. Deffo one of the better chill cosy games I've played in a while. Nice work.
I've never played/controlled a game like this. So cool. It took me a couple tries to understand how exactly the nobs changed how I moved but once I did, cruising through space felt really satisfying. excellent game well done.
I love that you have gone for a edutainment game, kudos for that. I would suggest to maybe start out with just remembering single letters to start, just so people can get the hang of single semaphores without trying to translate 4 or 5 within a couple seconds, then you could go onto filling in the gaps where certain letters of a word has been replaced with a semaphore. Then you go into full words. With that said I did enjoy this one. I started writing the semaphores down as they popped up and then translating so now my notebook is covered in chicken scratch . Nice work and I look forward to seeing where this game will go.
Really cool concept, really impressive you got it running in browser too, really like the feel and style of the game. I cacked it when I found the anomoly. I'm a bit of a wetty so i probably wont make another attempt there  Brilliant entry. Great work.
Loved the green retro CRT aesthetic, and the scanning to reveal the terrain was a clever interpretation of the theme, like a sonar system. Shame i couldn't rate the audio as it fit the game perfectly. awesome game.
This has to be one of the most eerie and atmospheric games I've played so far. the suspense and even claustrophobia was fantastic. I really liked how the background humming got louder the closer I got to the centre. The Lidar scanning was ingenious too. making that the only way you can navigate, Brilliant. Fantastic game, well done.
Funky idea. I really like the audio and visuals you went for, I did enjoy the crow sounds. I was a bit confused on how unit deployment actually worked, I kind of lucked out once I figured out how to just cut off the enemies by taking the city next to their castle. however I still lost even though I took the enemy castle. I do like the mechanics though, can't wait to play the next iteration.
@beatpanda, thankyou for the feedback. With the movement I was going for a more chaotic balance where if you moved, unless you did something else, you would go forever, so you had to balance the forward, reverse and brake to get the movement down. I may have missed the mark on that, ironically not balancing control enough, going the more chaotic route. I'll remember that for Version 2.
Your intuition about the larger asteroids was correct, they can be mined, but they are more dangerous, if you hit one three times then it breaks in to 4 smaller boulders. because of the health system you would need to regen back at base to do this though. Due to running out of time I just didn't get around to fleshing this mechanic out much. I had so many ideas that were left on the cutting room floor to get it done, but I should have explained that in the description.
Again thanks for the feedback. can't wait to make a V2 of this game.
Love the story and visuals, having the core idea being a lighthouse keeper was really cool. Great game, well done.
Love the look and sound of the game. Feels like a game that could be released on stores, really impressed it was build from scratch over a weekend. Well done.
Took a bit to understand what exactly was happening but I got the hang of it in the end. Really good effort with the different minigames here, love the ambition. The only minor note I have(pardon the pun), is when colour coding things, be mindful of colours that could be mixed up, I got stuck on a couple of boxes, just because they were in the wrong section and I didn't realise because of the colour. Other that that really well done, I had fun with this one.
This is the kind of game I could waste hours on and not realise it, well done. The voice acting took me by suprise and it was very well done, some of the voice lines and reactions got me, especially anything to do with the granny. Fantastic job, well done.
deceptively simple, but difficult to master. Can become complete chaos when too many cars are around. Was fun.
Looks and sounds beautiful, however I couldn't quite understand how things worked, I appreciate the tutorial but for me it was still a bit too complicated to understand, a walkthrough would have been helpful. I can see what you were going for, it just didn't click for me. but, as I said it looks and sounds amazing. Just because I didn't "get it", I don't want that to come off a being bad, well done.
Cool game. Really digged the pixel art and the music. I was bouncing to the music, along with the patrons, really fun. Those rowdy patrons fell asleep right?.. that's why I was guarding them . Seriously though, great game and I would love to see where you take this post jam, if you continue working on it. Fantastic job, well done.
Loved the take on the theme, being a signal person communicating orders between towers. As mentioned above, deffo has a papers please vibe, with a mundane job but an interesting story unfolding and changing by the choices you make. Im really excited to see this expanded upon and more story to come. Fantastic job, great game, well done.
A simple concept that has been very well executed, well done. Being able to pause the trains but and still change the tracks is a god send. I also really like the music, I think it fits perfectly with the style you went for. Honestly, no notes very well done. I'm really interested on how you expand and continue with this.
I really enjoyed this one. Loved the atmosphere and visuals, took a couple of turns to understand the deck building but once i did it was smooth sailing. I liked the story that was being told too, I only got as far as a couple turns after the blindfold guy, but really liked where it was going. Can't wait to see where this game goes from here.
So far, the best game I've played. Really love the concept and how it meshes with the theme. it reminds me of that programmable robot you had at school that you could program commands and it would then execute them (roamer robot I think), in that you "program" what the rover is going to do before doing it. One thing that could be cool to add as a later addition is the need to double back on yourself or have branching paths to add to the complexity of the puzzles. honestly though 10/10 game well done.
I wasnt exactly clear on what my abilities were actually doing and how i couild progress through the level. I triggered audio pulses all over the map but nothing happened. If the different sounds meant something then that should be better explained. Interesting concept though.
Very easy to pick up and understand, would have been nice to know roughly how far the rover would travel at certain speeds, instead of having to trial and error it as much but other than that really cool and interesting game.
Really enjoyable game, I got 19/25. I just couldn't find the last couple houses. As a future addition, maybe add some way of giving hints to find non tuned houses, but other than that really good game.
You definitely nailed the chaotic confusion of casual raid night, well done. I feel this is the foundations of a decent game here. Well done, looking forward to see where you might take it.
This was a really cool game. the fact it has in engine cutscenes is very impressive. Really like the tone that was set, very retro horror kind of vibe. if there was an entity on the crashed ship that had to be avoided that would have made it perfect. Honestly though, really cool entry, fantastic job. Also as a side note, I really dug the guitar riffs. Kind of felt like old school command and conquer sounds with I very much appreciate.
Loved the feel of the game. I reckon this could be the foundation of a really good atmospheric story game. Just the tone alone is brilliant. The controls were a little clunky but got used to them quickly. Really wished it were longer.
loved it, felt like one of those old school mobile games or browser games I played when I was younger. Felt really polished and well executed. fantastic game, well done.
A simple and quirky arcade shooter that was really satisfy to play, especially after getting a decent streak going. It's surprising how stressful it was to tap two buttons in the correct on a time limit too. Overall a well polished and well presented game. Well done.
Really enjoyed this game, really dug the the RTS style gameplay you went for here, really ambitious; I loved it. Took a couple of goes to get the hang of it, once you place down a signal tower or 2 the enemy's just start swarming, really makes it tense to keep up your defences. what's funny though is your interpretation of the theme is almost exactly what I was going to implement in mine but had to simplify for times sakes. As said, I really enjoyed your game, cant wait to see where you take this post jam.
love the details in the radio, with random messaging and music thrown in there. This fits the theme perfectly, well done. The only note I have is it can feel a bit slow at times, once I figure out where to stay away from and move my ships I'm just left waiting for the bombs to drop. perhaps a fast forward button would solve this maybe? But, overall: Really well done, great game.
Really enjoyed the slower pace with solving the puzzles, but I got stuck of Puzzle 6 I think, it was morse code and am sure it said !>I found a sanctuary
Maybe I'm just being a dumb dumb but I for the life of me could not figure it out. I got all the other puzzles just not that one. But don't let my ineptitude take away from the fact that this is a really cool puzzle game with a pretty interesting story. Well done.
I hit a couple of bugs on the web version, but overall really good. It was a bit unintuitive with the silhouette building, for instance only having a limit of three, but not telling me that, and if you make a mistake you cant undo it without having to go into the newspaper and reselecting the hero, or not having a way to check the disaster again if you forgot or missed it. Other that those points an excellent game.
Good concept but I did not understand when refueling was complete. If there was some sort of feedback that would be really helpful. As others have mentioned above I also hit a bug where planes would just keep going off the map when they get to refuelling destinations. One last point, the top left and bottom right corners are a bit too similar in colour, I could not tell them apart so each time I sent a plane to them it was a guess of if it was the right one. I look forward to seeing what you do in the next iteration.
Screenshot 2026-05-08 235048.png
Took a couple of goes but got the hang of it I think, I had a bit of trouble with rotating the satellites so I dragged them around to scoop up the signal and then bounce them between satellites and to eventually get them to the desired location. Really fun to do though, especially when tying to balance multiple signals pinging around at once. Really enjoyed and will definitely be playing again.
Im really sorry, I wanted to play this but it's just unplayable for me. the WASD keys dont work correctly, w moves me to the left, s moves right, etc. then If i reload w moves me back and s moves me forward. really struggle to do anything with the computer then when I finally am able to press start, I get a 1 second animation and then im just back in front of the computer. I've tried both the embed and the itch.io link. really sorry again.
Really enjoyed this one, felt like the kind of game i would waste hours playing in the computer science room at school. Took some time to ramp up and unexpected rushes of enemies kept me on my toes. Really fun. Can't wait to play some more.
Good effort on this one, I like how its basically two games in one, with the searching in space and the rover driving. I really enjoyed the rover sections, hitting a hill at just the right angle and id spin for ages, kind of felt like hill climb racers. It would have been nicer if there was more to do in space though, like i could find whoever was shooting at me and blow them up for a change, or if there were more obstacles to avoid, but what you have ATM is really good. I'm excited to see where you take this one post jam. good job, good game.
Has a cool premise and interesting central mechanic. What would have been cool would have been to add a way to defend against hostile aliens in one way shape or form, but the idea of being able to avoid them if strategic is pretty cool and unique too. I look forward to seeing the post compo version.
I like the puzzle concept here, especially how in later levels, moveing certain tiles affects other tiles as well. The last level was a real headscratcher till i figured out how to manipulate the movement of one of the tiles with the other. really satisfying figuring that out. I think that these interactions could be better explained as it is a lot of random trial and error to figure it out, but other than that really cool game
I like the concept, but I could not get my buddies to actually go where I wanted them to go. I'd put down a ribbon, telling them to go right and they'd go left instead. And I have no idea how vertical movement is determined. The random generation is cool and definitely adds to replayability of the game, and the ducks are important and perfect. Overall though, well done on getting a game out. I'm interested on where you will take it from here.
Really dig the 80's vibe. The stuff coming from your mentor was peak too. Shame about that bus full of orphans. Once I got the hang of things everything started working well. The only bit I was confused about was being out traded. If that was explained a bit better or introduced once the other mechanics were understood then it would have been perfect. Awesome game though, would love to see a later iteration with some of the cutting room mechanics, like punching other traders.
Cool idea of using a signal beam to make npcs more hostile, kind of like where animals become aggressive when a speaker plays a sound that humans cant here but they can. really like it. I feel that the signal beam could have had a cooldown, as it makes it fairly easy to cheese the npc's a bit, but other than that cool game. Also, really like the art style, cant wait to see where this game goes post jam.

Well that escalated quickly . My horrible touch typing has come back to haunt me. In all seriousness. Congrats on your first LD game, if this is what you can pull of as your first jam game, and as a late start then I can't wait to see what you will create next time. This was a well polished and easy to grasp game that I would happily play multiple times just to try and improve my typing skills so I last longer. Again well done and congrats!
A cool, easy to pick up game with a fun roulette mechanic as a "deck-builder". I can see how this game could be expanded upon quite easily. Really well done.
I didn't really get it, I kind of just randomly selected animals and after 5 minutes had all of the moneys. Im unsure how this fits the theme as well. The owl "saves" the current signal for next round but I don't know what that means or what the signal is. I do like the art style of the game, and the audio is really nice too.
Loved the art style and cosy sound. really dig the puzzles. Fantastic job.
I took me a couple of goes to understand how things worked, and even then it seemed like I completed each wave via chance. I'm unsure how I was defeating the hostiles, other that moving under them. I liked the programmed movement concept but if pairing that with realtime mechanics, there needs to be a faster way of inputting commands, maybe keybinding or macros would work? novel idea for a game, and I'm interested on where you might take it.
Really dig the classic run and gun style. First time I screwed around just killing enemies. got overrun really easily doing that. Once I knuckled down and actually went for the objective it was pretty easy to get to grips with. Well done, really fun.
I dig the minimalist aesthetic. Took a couple goes before I worked out how best to use each of the different towers affectively. Was a fun and interesting puzzle gam.
You have a good foundation here, it just needs expanding upon and you could have a really solid rhythm game here. Maybe you could be simulating an athlete and need to change tempo depending on what they are doing, beat faster for more intense activity, slower when coasting. With that said, you made something here and not everyone can say that so well done. I'm curious on where you take this one, and look forward to seeing it.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and feel you were going for here. I agree with other commenters in it feels very bladerunner-y. I like the story you gave here too, defiantly emphasises the mood. Personnaly I wasn't a big fan of the binary-ness of the choices where only one would be the "human" answer as what I thought would be reasonably human just wasn't(perhaps I joined the borg without knowing;) ), maybe it could be that each answer earned x number of points and if you had enough by the end you were deemed human enough. But with that being said I like what you were going for and you made it through the jam and you have a decent game at the end. Well done and I am interested to see where you might take this one.
Loved the atmosphere here. The feel and mood were spot on. Real shame you couldn't get everything you wanted but what you have is great. I'm really looking forward to playing the next iteration of this game, I need closure for the story:).
I really liked this one. Was a fun puzzle platformer trying to figure out how to get to the top of the map. hopefully it was an important post to risk their life just to send it. The levels you have felt well designed and had some clever tricks to get to the top. I just wish there were more levels. Still really enjoyed playing your game and am really looking forward to seeing more of it.
