Fun game, very small, but funny, love the audio its is beatiful XD

Congrats for the audio haha the spaceship is kind of hard to drive but I had fun chasing around the asteroids for a while.

itero-proto 2026-04-22 17:38

I want a web version of the game)

yodak 2026-04-22 17:46

I love the theme and mouth effects remind me of one of my favourite developers, love-de-lic.

The audio is hilarious, really well done.

I also liked the backstory you wrote up for the little robots and the company. It added a lot of personality and helped give context to what I was doing.

Since the game is so movement-focused, I think the feel of controlling the character matters a lot, and right now it wasn’t the most fun to move around. I had a hard time staying engaged because it felt difficult to drive, and everything moves a bit too fast for me to comfortably react, especially without something like a minimap to help plan ahead.

I also found the resource mechanic a little unintuitive. I expected the larger asteroids to be more valuable or mineable, so it was a bit confusing and a little disappointing to realize I needed to avoid them while collecting the smaller ones instead.

@beatpanda, thankyou for the feedback. With the movement I was going for a more chaotic balance where if you moved, unless you did something else, you would go forever, so you had to balance the forward, reverse and brake to get the movement down. I may have missed the mark on that, ironically not balancing control enough, going the more chaotic route. I'll remember that for Version 2.

Your intuition about the larger asteroids was correct, they can be mined, but they are more dangerous, if you hit one three times then it breaks in to 4 smaller boulders. because of the health system you would need to regen back at base to do this though. Due to running out of time I just didn't get around to fleshing this mechanic out much. I had so many ideas that were left on the cutting room floor to get it done, but I should have explained that in the description.

Again thanks for the feedback. can't wait to make a V2 of this game.

Moving around was fun but the music did get repetitive after awhile. For me, the ore would get processed as soon as I collected it. I didn't have to return to the base for that. Would like to see a more fleshed out version of the game!

Mouth sounds were funny. I mined for some while. Physics are fun, but I'd had liked to have some progress, maybe enemies or other materials, or juts a quota to trigger ending.

I liked the minimal soundtrack. Graphics were good and the space mood of getting stuff done was transmitted.

Fun little game. Sound effects were of course very funny. DÜDÜDÜDÜ. :D

I also think that a goal would be nice and maybe some kind of enemies or obstacles to get more variety.

But the base game was fun. For me the controls felt fine. Very cool detail: the "destroyed" miners are still floating around, when you control the new one. Found that really nice. :)

Fun game and a bit challenging to control. It fits the signal theme well.

senso 2026-04-25 23:34

Hahaha the sound is just amazing. I personally like mouth sounds. Wich the music also had that now. Funny controls I mean hard to get it to do what I want. Overall slik game .!

Cool fun to play asteroid game with some decent physics to it. Nice work!

ben-morledge-hampton 2026-04-27 18:56

Simple, but fun to play. I especially love the use of vocals for the sound effects! I would have liked to have an objective other than just chasing a high score, but I know that kind of thing is harder to implement with the time constraints for a game jam. Great work!

geraldfingburke 2026-04-28 01:35

Definitely had a hard time keeping control of the ship. This kinda reminds me of Rings of Saturn. Great concept!

Fun little game, I think after a while it seemed a little too easy though, and once I got to 20 ore I figured I had seen it all. I also would have liked to see a bit more juice to the game, like maybe the asteroids could spin a bit, and flash/explode when they get hit. Also I felt like since there was no indication of where asteroids were, there wasn't really any drive for me to do anything except mindlessly wander. I really liked the sound effects though, they are simple but effective, and the graphics are cute, nice entry!

ausstein 2026-05-02 14:05

Was fun to play, I liked how suddenly a miner I had lost suddenly came back flying in I think it was hit by an asteroid far out :D

I really liked having space to break that made it much more controllable. Very simple and I would have liked some sort of progression system, but other than that good job :)

sirred 2026-05-04 20:27

Movement felt really good. Wish there was more to collect and do. I liked the sound effects.

2026-05-05 07:42

An interesting game that conveys the theme of signals through the control of distance and the movement of the robots. I think it's really great. The sound effects in it are also very well done.

venomousmouse 2026-05-07 08:06

Fun little game. Nice consept. Great job.

kerioth 2026-05-07 10:02

It's a cool game. I realized I needed to collect small meteorites, but why weren't they counted?

kpded 2026-05-07 10:50

Great job! Some more tutorials would also help a lot For example it was not very obvious that ore collect from the ship when it is next to a base

zimny11 2026-05-07 18:49

I like this idea! The control were really smooth and sounds effect are just great! The game is quite easy, I think if there was more big asteroids or you had to go closer to the signal max range to find smaller asteroids it would felt better. Or maybe a target value for ore you have to collect and then you move to "the next place" where there is more big asteroids making game harder and harder would be nice. Besides that well done!

ava-skoog 2026-05-08 10:55

Nice game, fun to slide around to a groovy beat and funny mouth sounds, trying to collect stuff without perishing :)

Just lacks a little extra something, I feel, in terms of goals. As an easy fix, at least winning the game after collecting a certain amount, but if you were to keep working on it, then getting upgrades and/or building up the home base more and more after every subgoal is reached would really elevate this game.

As for the movement itself, I think it felt pretty good when I remembered about the spacebar, but for collection I would've liked a short-range tractor beam. It was frustrating to grace just past fast-flying stones. It would've also helped with the big ones—it's tough enough to break one into pieces before it disappears out of range, and if you do succeed, the pieces go flying out range very quickly and so it's not really worth the investment.

I like that you provided a little backstory in the description, and it sets up the signal mechanic well, which was a great use of the theme.

Overall a good and charming game, just needs something IMO!

silentwander 2026-05-08 13:22

The audio is really fun. However, tweaking the goal structure—like adding upgrades or something—could give the game more potential. The backstory makes good use of the theme, though I feel it could be woven into the gameplay even more cleverly, maybe with more applications of the signal. Overall, well done!
